Palin: Obama will 'invite danger' if elected

Palin campaigned in Ohio Thursday (AP PHOTO)

TROY, Ohio (CNN) - - Sarah Palin on Thursday warned Ohioans that the Democratic ticket will "invite dangerous international crisis" if elected and gleefully mocked Barack Obama for dismissing his running mate Joe Biden as being prone to "rhetorical flourishes."

At a press conference in Virginia on Wednesday, Obama made the comment while defending Biden for saying at a fundraiser, "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy" - a statement the McCain campaign has seized on to highlight Obama's relative lack of national security experience.

Palin asserted that yesterday's "hastily" assembled press conference in Richmond, in which the Democratic nominee was flanked by 15 of his top national security advisers, should remind voters of "how Obama handles trouble."

"Here his own running mate has just warned America - and it's not the first time - he warned us throughout the primaries that Barack was not ready to be president," Palin said. "He reminded them that the election of Barack Obama will invite dangerous international crisis because he is untested. And Barack just brushes it off as rhetorical flourish."

"I question dismissing Joe Biden's moment of truth-telling as nothing more than a social embarrassment," she pressed on. "Sen. Obama's own running mate, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has informed us that a serious international crisis is certain if Obama is elected and that he is not ready to deal with it."

In fact, Biden did not say Obama "is not ready" to handle a national security crisis, but rather that Obama will need his supporters to stand with him as tough decisions are made.

Rounding out her criticism of Obama, Palin pledged that McCain has the experience to keep America safe.

"Now at least Joe and I have found some common ground, finally," she said. "We found common ground because I too want a president who's been tested. What I want is a president who spent 22 years in uniform defending our country."

    Obama won't invite danger.

He'll be in Chicago selling used cars after November.

    Who cares what he invites.

We can all be lucky to look forward to President McCain and Vice President Palin!!

I think it's very appalling (yet sad in some ways ) that these two candidates, in their desperation & lack of an intelligent ,honest campaign feel it's moral & christian to sink to the depths of deception to satisfy their fragile egos. They also repeatedly insult the intelligence & integrity of the majority of citizens of our great country.
Their messages tell me neither of them is ready for the leadership this country & it's melting pot of wonderful citizens deserve.
    Obama / Biden '08 & '12 !!!!

All this rabble-rouser can do is appeal to people's fear in order to get votes. It is less than two weeks before election day so Pitbull Palin is getting uglier on her attacks of Obama. All I can say is God help this country if McCain is elected with someone like Palin sitting a heartbeat away.

Sarah here you go with more lies and attacks. You better acknowledge the fact that Mccain has Black ancestors. If you dont think this is true go to yahoo news in the polictics section there. There is a short video about it. And one of the biological distant relative says she is voting for Obama. Just do some more attacking and Obama will gain some more points. You better Get Cindy out there to compaign for you she also doesnt claim her relatives either and they are white.

Interesting. When one person allegedly shouted out "kill him " when Obama was mentioned at a McCain rally,an allegation that was proven to be false, it elicited four columns in the New York Times alone about McCain inciting hate. It was the subject of the lead story on every network news and was widely reported throughout the country.

Now an Obama supporter (also a thief) apparently attacked a McCain suppoter in Pittsburgh and carved a "B" into her face, and not a word from you CNN Obamanites.

Well we know she doesn't read the newspaper, so I guess she hasn't heard that Obama is already being hailed around the world as the great uniter. Did the rethuglicans already forget Germany. Those people didn't come because they think Obama was a danger, those people came because Obama is the first JFK like politician in 40 years. They see him as being a great leader and uniting the world peaceably. IDIOT!!

Are all those people at her rallies under the impression that McCain's 100+ lobbyists are by his side to represent their cause? They don't have the best interests of Americans at heart. McCain has no plan

Man, would someone shut this woman up! Sarah is trying to voice her opinion, but she doesn’t even know the job responsibilities she is applying for. Lady, sweep around your own front door before you try to sweep around Obama's.

And just what does Palin know about anything beside getting perks to take her children everywhere and getting a 100,000 dollar wardrobe? She doesn't even appear to know about the constitution. She probably doesn't know the history of the Shia and the Sunni. It was evident that she had not knowledge of Russia. What gives her the right to criticize anyone. The woman may be smart but she is ignorant especially of world affairs. There is more to being the VP or President than just following the party line especially when it is so negative.

Fear and lies are all the McCain/Palin camp have left.

What is so fundamentally WRONG about talking with our enemies? Isn't that called DIPLOMACY?

Is the McCain doctrine of "shoot first, keep shooting, then spend 100 years and trillions of taxpayer dolllars entrenched in a country" a better alternative to diplomacy?

Please America!!! For the love of your children, do not flush the country down the GOP toilet with a vote for these 2 idiots!!!!

    Go Obama/Biden!!

To all of the enlightened Republicans out there:

John McCain is DANGEROUS. He wants to eliminate taxes and get rid of government. He's an ANARCHIST!

John McCain doesn't believe in America. His running mate said that we can't afford to face an international crisis. My friends, true Americans like you and me know that we can handle tests and America doesn't have to run and hide.

Do you see how stupid this is?
