Palin: Obama will 'invite danger' if elected

TROY, Ohio (CNN) - - Sarah Palin on Thursday warned Ohioans that the Democratic ticket will "invite dangerous international crisis" if elected and gleefully mocked Barack Obama for dismissing his running mate Joe Biden as being prone to "rhetorical flourishes."

At a press conference in Virginia on Wednesday, Obama made the comment while defending Biden for saying at a fundraiser, "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy" - a statement the McCain campaign has seized on to highlight Obama's relative lack of national security experience.

Palin asserted that yesterday's "hastily" assembled press conference in Richmond, in which the Democratic nominee was flanked by 15 of his top national security advisers, should remind voters of "how Obama handles trouble."

"Here his own running mate has just warned America - and it's not the first time - he warned us throughout the primaries that Barack was not ready to be president," Palin said. "He reminded them that the election of Barack Obama will invite dangerous international crisis because he is untested. And Barack just brushes it off as rhetorical flourish."

"I question dismissing Joe Biden's moment of truth-telling as nothing more than a social embarrassment," she pressed on. "Sen. Obama's own running mate, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has informed us that a serious international crisis is certain if Obama is elected and that he is not ready to deal with it."

In fact, Biden did not say Obama "is not ready" to handle a national security crisis, but rather that Obama will need his supporters to stand with him as tough decisions are made.

Rounding out her criticism of Obama, Palin pledged that McCain has the experience to keep America safe.

"Now at least Joe and I have found some common ground, finally," she said. "We found common ground because I too want a president who's been tested. What I want is a president who spent 22 years in uniform defending our country."

Sarah Palin does not think, investigate or consider. She knows. Because God tells her. That should scare the bejesus out of anyone.

In 12 days Palin can go back to Alaska (and stay there) and McCain can scratch his head and wonder why all his lies and distortions.....in his fear and smear Campaign, didn't work.

Palin and McCain are already dividing our Country and the Voters....

    The "real Virginia"

the American's who love America vs. the people that hate America.

McCain could have picked Michael Savage, Bill O'reilley or Sean Hannity as his VP pick and gotten the same hateful results (and the RNC wouldn't have had to spend over $150,000 on clothes for them).

Obama is winning because he sees what the Voter's want and has the vision, the diplomacy, the inteeligence and the drive to make it happen.

I think Joe Binden is more of a liability to Obama then Palin is to McCain.
I do think that putting fear into the campaign is wrong. I'm not going to vote for someone out of fear. Obama does have a lot to learn. If he wins
will get a crash course on how to deal with rogue nations.

    Perfect Halloween entertainment Governor Palin!

Pumpkins adorning the front of the stage...

Supporters shouting obscenities, untruths, and violent cries...

You, with that obnoxious little voice, dressed in $3,000 garments....

Telling us all that an Obama presidency is what we should fear....

But the twist is that McCain ALREADY said we have nothing to fear of an Obama presidency and that he is a decent, good man. Nice try......NEXT!

Scare strategy again? Where is Bin Laden after these years, and this need to have a closure. After invading Iraq, do you think the world is safer? The war on terror is a mess, the econmy is a mess, and we have 10+ trillions debt – half of that is contributed by current republican president. We're the leader of the world, the whole world is suffering if we have trouble in our econmy. Wake up GOP, this is 21st century. You're so out of touched, and that is the reason great majority of young people leaning toward Democratic party now. BTW, United States has adopted many socialism idea – including social security, medicare/medicaid, unemployee insurance, Union, etc. Socialism and capitalism have evolved in 20th century. Why these arguments are still showing on 21st century?

For a vp nominee who has had less interviews than Joe the (unlicensed) plumber, Sarah Palin sure does talk a tough game, when she doesn't have to worry about Katie or Charlie being near.

Why are you not asking about how Obama is handling not being around his young children? Every time an Obama liberal raises such a criticism against Palin, the hypocrisy is thick-solid.

I would also like to know how much the Dems have spent on the wardrobes for their canidates, including Michelle Obama. This would never be newsworthy if only men were part of the campaign.

The only candidate who has shown any confidence in a woman to lead the country is McCain. Call it politcs if you want, but is that not the name of the presidential game?

Now let the rest of us have some peace and quiet from your sheer ignorance you stupid, stupid woman!

Palin will never make a "rhetorical flourish" as she doesn't have the vocalibary. MCcain and Biden will never seek advice on anything as they both think they know it all but are amazingly uninformed. We wouldn't have to worry about them serving a full term as there would be a second revolution in one years time with them running the country.
