Palin: Obama will 'invite danger' if elected

TROY, Ohio (CNN) - – Sarah Palin on Thursday warned Ohioans that the Democratic ticket will "invite dangerous international crisis" if elected and gleefully mocked Barack Obama for dismissing his running mate Joe Biden as being prone to "rhetorical flourishes."

At a press conference in Virginia on Wednesday, Obama made the comment while defending Biden for saying at a fundraiser, "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy" - a statement the McCain campaign has seized on to highlight Obama's relative lack of national security experience.

Palin asserted that yesterday's "hastily" assembled press conference in Richmond, in which the Democratic nominee was flanked by 15 of his top national security advisers, should remind voters of "how Obama handles trouble."

"Here his own running mate has just warned America - and it's not the first time - he warned us throughout the primaries that Barack was not ready to be president," Palin said. "He reminded them that the election of Barack Obama will invite dangerous international crisis because he is untested. And Barack just brushes it off as rhetorical flourish."

"I question dismissing Joe Biden's moment of truth-telling as nothing more than a social embarrassment," she pressed on. "Sen. Obama's own running mate, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has informed us that a serious international crisis is certain if Obama is elected and that he is not ready to deal with it."

In fact, Biden did not say Obama "is not ready" to handle a national security crisis, but rather that Obama will need his supporters to stand with him as tough decisions are made.

Rounding out her criticism of Obama, Palin pledged that McCain has the experience to keep America safe.

"Now at least Joe and I have found some common ground, finally," she said. "We found common ground because I too want a president who's been tested. What I want is a president who spent 22 years in uniform defending our country."

Does anybody expect her to say anything different? After all the hate filled rhethoric she spews at her campaign rallies, after all the innuendo that Senator Obama will diminish the stature of the White House, after her lies that Senator Obama pals around with terrorist, after her remarks that get her crowds stirred up to the point of racial slurs against Senator Obama, to hate filled slurs against Obama, to her all but calling Obama un-American, etc., then anything she says doesn't surprise me.
All I know is that she and John McCain are shameful and should be ousted from the offices they now hold.

Remember the USSR had a 10 year war with those people where they lost and soon afterwards the USSR fell from money woes and we don't won't that.. These people know exactly what they are doing. Having support TWO WARS!!!.

WE SPEND 10 BIL A MONTH IN IRAQ ALONE HAS ANYONE GOT FIGURES FOR AFGANISTAN.

You are correct, Sen Biden and Gov Palin: Obama is not good material to lead our country. The test will come to either presidential candidate, but it's just that Obama will have the 'deer in the headlights' approach just trying to understand the language as the missiles drop on us–that is, he will still be in shock that not everyone loves him as much of the US does; that is, can it be possible he did or said something wrong to cause this problem??? He's not fit..

This woman is a disgrace to the word Vice President let alone actually acquiring the title.

And CNN follows around her garage and reports on it like it's the gospel.

That's it, play the typical Republican fear card. Glad she can really 'bring' people together and unite this country by saying something stupid and divisive like that. By the way, how's that fear card been working out for us?

You'd better listen to her, Pam, she knows exactly what she's talking about. Right now on the Druge Report, they are reporting that a McCain volunteer was attached viciously and a 'B' was carved in her face! You Nobama people are not only idiots, you're sick, sick, sick!

Here she goes again...but anyone with any sense should know that Al-Qaida would love McCain in office considering he'll keep our troops there for YEARS to come...

And ANYONE would is elected will be tested..but would you rather someone YOUNG and FIT with a VP that can handle the issue or an OLD SICKLY man with an UNQUALIFIED VP who would make matters worse and doesn't even know what a VPs role is?

How was a press conference after his planned meeting of national security advisors 'hasty'? Also, Biden did NOT say that Obama was not ready to deal with it. He said he would approach it with an iron back.

Besides, can Palin explain how sitting on an aircraft carrier during the Cuban Missile crisis suddenly makes McCain tried and true in international crisis'?

This is just wrong on so many levels. Obama invites danger like Palin invites ignorance. Take away her teleprompter and just let her ramble. Enough already. And she is the so-called face of Christianity. Lord help us!

I don't know what situation is more insane:

    - Palin purposefully manipulating Biden's words and creating another argument that doesn't exist to scare up votes.

    OR

    - Palin actually believes that is what Biden was saying, once again showing how dull minded she truly is.

It's sad. Either way I look at it, it's a sad situation for America.

Palin, every single President faces crisis, every one of them! Lieberman was saying every new President will face crisis, and used it to campaign for McStain. These clowns are a disgrace!

Biden did not say Obama "is not ready" to handle a national security crisis, but rather that Obama will need his supporters to stand with him as tough decisions are made.– Why does this so-called Christian woman find the need to lie so much?

So tired of seeing and listening to her everywhere. She has become a liability. I think McCain should put Cindy in this woman's place if he needs help campaigning.

my nephew has spent 12 years in uniform defending our country but that does not qualify him to be our president just like being in uniform 22 years does not qualify John McCain to be out president.
