Tensions within the McCain-Palin campaign are spilling into the public. A McCain aide told CNN that Gov. Palin is a 'diva.'

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) – With 10 days to go until election day, long brewing tension between Sarah Palin and key aides to John McCain has become so intense, it is spilling out into the public.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue” recently, while a Palin associate says she is simply trying to “bust free” of what she believes was a mishandled roll-out that damaged her.

McCain sources point to several incidents where Palin has gone off message, and privately wonder if they were deliberate. For example: labeling robo calls “irritating,” even as the campaign was defending the use of them and telling reporters she disagreed with the campaigns controversial decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source tells CNN she appears to now be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

SHOULD Obama/Biden win next month and SHOULD VP Biden decide to retire prior to the re-election in 2012, what about a Barack Obama/Tina Fey ticket?

Obama will have had time to start digging America out of this economic mess, restore our credibility in the world, and the long journey of re-uniting America. His efforts will prove critics wrong. And for those who are just hung-up on Sarah Palin, Tina Fey has the "look" if that is what you seek, and is exponentially more intelligent than Palin would ever hope to be.

Seriously, get out and vote, and if your state has early voting; vote early, as I did here in Tennessee. Oboma/Biden '08.

Sarah Palin lacks a 4th grade knowledge of geography ,yet she thinks she is qualified to be VP or Pres.

Like many evengelicals Sarah claims to be a devout christian while at the same time "bears false witness against others" with great ease.

"Disingenuous "is a truer description for Mrs. Palin.

NO surprise here in Alaska.Ms.Palin has long run things the way SHE wants and anyone who steps in her way quietly disappears. We have had our fill of her up here- now rest of the country can see her for what she is- a FAKE, a LIAR, and a resounding HYPOCRITE.Not to mention a nationalis t Christian who believes in a Christian theocracy with her at the helm..
The GOP slogans should say"PALIN FIRST" , not COUNTRY FIRST.
She possesses a malignant narcicissm that keeps her going on a
relentless pursuit to the top and God help anyone who gets in her way- Including her family.

As ye sow so shall ye reap

McCain didn't bother checking this b**ch out and now he's surprised that she is a losse cannon with an ego the size of ANWAR? This is why he is down 15 points in the polls; he's not too bright.

And if she thinks that she is going to be the rising star in the party, wait till the long knives come out and the blame game starts. She will head the ticket in 2012 right after Quayle does. The problem with the Republican Party is that it is fundamentally dishonest; theay are incapable of telling the truth. Tax Ciuts? yeah if you're rich; Fiscally repsonsible? Don't make me laugh? Strong on defense? they have done more damage to the military than all the Iraqis and Al Quaida combined. Education? a disaster. Infrastructure? Crumbling. Jobs? Millions lost.

The Party of Hoover resurrected in the image of George (What me Worry) Bush, the most incompetent POTUS ever; bar none.

Time for Palin to fade back to alaska with the rest of the nuts in tow. The soviets used to banish people to siberia and we can put alaska to good use. After reading up on her trans-canada pipeline deal where they had only one bidder to be allowed to bid under fixed guidelines not to mention her two meetings with dick cheney at the same time looking for money from washington for more bridge to nowhere projects. Her support of the anti-american AIP IS A SLAP IN THE FACE OF ALL MILITARY VETERANS who died fighting the japanese in WWII in alaska! She's killing John McCains chances. I think McCain was duped and infiltrated by the extreme right with Bush-Cheney cohorts. Palins going off on her own now thinking about future political careers. Et Tu Sarah!

You know... McCain lost the election when he chose that red neck bimbo Palin. She is seriously out of touch!!! what a freak.....I think I hate her more than I hate Bush.
I am so happy America has wised up and is getting ready to throw out all the repubes and send that twat packing back to Alaska!!!

I guess these are the type of issues that don't come up when the candidate actually knows their running mate rather than relying on a vetting process that lasted about 60 minutes.

Wow, just wow. It just keeps getting worse. Why do insane people want to vote these idiots in? They can't even agree amongst themselves. Palin was the worst decision McCain could have made.

Whether it's a "process" question or a "gotcha" question, this woman is an idiot. She cannot put together a complete, understandable sentence in answer to a question. She is not ready for prime time. Being a governor from Alaska, where Todd did most of her work for her, does not make one ready for national politics.

That this woman was picked as VP candidate is wrong and scary on so many levels. The campaign even admits to keeping her from interaction from the press because "she was not ready." I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want my VP candidate to "need time to get briefed on issues on the national and international stage they are not familiar with and has never dealt with." If a person is to be a VP candidate, they should know national and international issues better than 99% of the country. Palin knows nothing except how to lie, you betcha.

Let her keep talking. She puts a nail into her political future every time she speaks to the press.

You mean a candidate that spent most of per time in Alaska stepping on everyone's heads and pushing people out of the way to get ahead is 'going rogue'?

Sarah Palin reminds me of Eva Peron more and more every day.

Is this an orchestrated thing to make us believe that she is different than she has appeared to be? It seems calculated...again. As if the McCain campaign wants her to really appear more competent and "maverick" and that she's been holding back. They are USING THE PRESS to convey this message.

Listen up, Republican party – I will never vote for any ticket with Ms. Palin on it. She is unqualified – period. Being Governor of Alaska is about as impressive as being mayor of the city that I live in (perhaps less impressive because that city has more people in it than Alaska). As to comparing her to the next Ronald Reagan, please give us credit for being more intelligent than buying that analogy. The late Ronald Reagan was governor of California, a state that has more population than many nations in the world and an economy to match.

    Scary......the brainless(Palin) leaving the brain(McCain).
This is what would happen if She...cough cough . I mean McCain were elected president. The Repubs have no sense of order and corporation. This is what happened in the Bush White House and it would be happening for Obama right now had he selected Clinton instead of Biden.

    What a surprise!

Palin wrecking herself, her party, the McCain campaign... all in one fell swoop! Who'da thunk that?

She has a "holier-than-thou" attitude, filters information and accepts no responsibility for her own actions.

Will history paint her as a "maverick" or will history paint her as the most despicable semi-politician that was ever on a major party ticket?

Palin and McCain will make history – the biggest LOSS in the presidential race EVER! When she goes back to Alaska with her tail between her legs I hope the legislature does what's right and IMPEACHES her!

    You betcha, wink, wink!

In such a serious time in our history, the idea that Gov. Palin was even presented as a vetted viable choice for Vice President, and what could be the highest office in the land, shows what some will do to keep things as they were. Bye, bye Palin!

Yeah, Rogue Sarah, oh so independent! She can't even stay loyal to her own would-be president. Her bright future in 2012? Gimme a break! She'll have to campaign from the trash heap of history.
