Tensions within the McCain-Palin campaign are spilling into the public. A McCain aide told CNN that Gov. Palin is a 'diva.'

ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) – With 10 days to go until election day, long brewing tension between Sarah Palin and key aides to John McCain has become so intense, it is spilling out into the public.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin “going rogue” recently, while a Palin associate says she is simply trying to “bust free” of what she believes was a mishandled roll-out that damaged her.

McCain sources point to several incidents where Palin has gone off message, and privately wonder if they were deliberate. For example: labeling robo calls “irritating,” even as the campaign was defending the use of them and telling reporters she disagreed with the campaigns controversial decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source tells CNN she appears to now be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

So the chickens are coming home to roost...and even staffers on the Republican campaign are calling Sarah Palin a "diva"!

Send Palin back to Alaska after Obama and Biden win the election! She's totally unfit to be a serious candidate for national politics in this day and age with her outdated beliefs! A story in a newspaper here in Toronto said today that before her expensive makeover, Palin looked like a – Canadian! That was pretty funny and probably true! Another reporter said she is "uncannily self-confident". Also true. She's way out of her depth and we're still waiting for her to do her first news conference since becoming McCain's running mate. I double-dog dare ya', Sarah!

I also had to laugh at the line in the story above that says John Edwards wanted to protect his future interests. Well, he sure blew that with the forced admission of his extramarital affair, didn't it?

So we can see that there are plenty of unqualified and undeserving candidates from both parties!

By the way, the Americans I know here (and people with dual Canadian and American citizenship) have all voted for Obama in advance polls. Although I don't have a vote, I'm ordering a "Canadians for Obama" t-shirt. Check out the website. We're rooting for you, Barack and Joe (Biden, that is, NOT Plumber!!!)

They can't even blame this one on the "liberal media" considering it's coming from their own campaign. They didn't need to tell me she's a diva, that's been obvious. She's been looking at 2012 since she was picked for VP. I don't care how much she calls herself a "hockey mom" and plays that angle. She's not this everyday person who suddenly decided to run for city council and went from there; this woman is a politician, and a cookie cutter politician at that. Even worse, she's a cookie cutter politician who has no semblance of foreign policy. I can't wait until 2012; she's going to get crushed like Barry Goldwater did.

We can always count on CNN to publish garbage. That's how we got here in the first place. "Sources" say CNN's been paid MILLIONS in revenue from Obama himself. Sources. Riiiiiiiight.

Sarah Palin needs to take her $!!,000+ a week hair and makeup artisit and head on home and you better grab that $150,000 wardrobe for you and your family. The nerve a Louis Veton bag for your 7 year old.
You have been a joke since day one. You were selected"Only" because you were a woman and McCain, in his usual poor judgement, thought women were dumb enough to vote for you because you were a woman. He figured we weren;t bright enough to figure out you did not even know the job description. Then after the bubble burst then he sent you out to be the attack dog and say the things he wouldn't dare say because he said he would not say those things. He used you to do his dirty work and the "stink" stuck to you and now they are going to throw you under the bus. When the only news network that supports you is Fox, you definately have a problem Leaders of the free world do not say"gotcha" and "you bet" and "betcha" and wink and "to ya".and they do not drag their children from place to place as you have. What happen to their education??? Let me guess – the McCain hired full time teachers to teach them when you weren't dragging them across a stage. Go back to Alaska and rerun the last few months and see what exactly happened to you since you are the number one joke on SNL. Learn from your mistakes.

It appears that McCain is getting what he wanted – a maverick!

That said, what other politican is going to trust running with her? Another way, she has stabbed herself in the back.

Besides, if 55% of the people think she is not ready for Pres – what makes her think they are going to make her Queen of the GOP? I really think she is delusional.

Sarah Palin acts like someone with a limited educational background. She seems full of bluff and bluster and empty show. She uses nasty innuendoes, crafts repugnant attacks on Obama's reputation and uses all this as a smoke screen for her own short-comings. Who is the REAL Sarah Palin. Why won't the media show us? What is being unsaid about John McCain and Sarah Palin in this campaign in favor of playing the race card against Barack Obama? Some facts I am aware of through means other than the media. Facts that are not about who has the most experience but facts about who has the most education and intelligence. Show us what a White House full of the McClain/Palin clan would be like as opposed to an Obama/Biden White House.

"“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone,” said this McCain adviser, “she does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else."

Like, DUH. Where were you when you chose her as the VP candidate?

It astounds me that this woman not only thinks she's qualified to run for a national public office, but that she thinks she knows how to handle a presidential campaign better than John McCain.

Sarah Palin, you are by far the worst thing to ever happen to the GOP and you have single-handedly cost us this election.

Not that I'm too thrilled about McCain choosing you in the first place. God, you think you know someone though... then this.

It is kind of old politics that we are tired of it. I thought when Gov. plain join the ticket she will bring new things to Washington but that was turn out untrue. I think we got your message time for you to go away.

    Thanks

A campaign disarray is what we see here. McCain is going down and he will never have a chance in presidential politics in his life. This is his last. But Sarah Palin on the other hand does now she has a national spotlight. I do not think she would allow McCain campaign to make her look like an idiot. She seems to be trying to break free.

This is kinda sad, I like McCain and I would have voted for him if he didnt pick Palin. But because of his poor pick for VP I will be voting for Obama. I may not agree with everyone Obama is going to do in the white house, but I think we need people who really put this nation before political gains.

Oh Sarah Sarah Sarah. Who to the @$#! do you think you are? Just because the ignorant right wing hate mongers love you that don’t mean the rest of us do. Most strange McCain supporters are going to hold his choice for VP as the single reason not to pick his ticket. You are running of delusion and fumes. Please Stop! And contrary to what they are saying at your Klan rallies, you will not beat out Obama in four years.

Palin has a mind of her own.....and McCain has consistently let her use it, all the time acknowledging they have differences of opinion on some issues.

    So.....what's the problem?

Looking forward to having a President Sarah Palin at some point in the future!

This ain't coming out like the McCain team thought it would. I predict that John McCain's temper will rear it's ugly head in a few days and all hell will break loose in the republican board/strategy room. This is getting interesting.

PLEASE get out and vote for CHANGE!!!

It hurts my ears to hear the CNN East Coast anchors mispronouncing a little town in New Mexico. Rick Sanchez especially should know that the town of Mesilla is not pronounced Me-sil-lah but Meh-see-ya. The double "l" in Spanish is pronunced "y" and even the Anglos in our State know that! Come on now, you can do better than that!

    Go Sarah!

Ha! As much as I enjoy the circular firing squad, I have to agree that Palin has really gotten the shaft in all this. She must have thought she won the lottery when they picked her. Who could have thought that McCain would so successfully transform himself into a stupider, more transparently mendacious and more asinine version of George W. Bush. And on top of all that, his campaign has got to be the most grotesque train-wreck in modern political history. How do you pull a stunt like "suspending" your campaign without having planned out, in exacting detail, 10 steps ahead on how you're going to follow through on that? They hadn't even figured out how to handle Letterman. Then they set up an all-hands super-special meeting in the White House, and McCain just sits there with his thumb up his @ss. And how on earth do you put out phony adds making a fraudulent link between Obama and Franklin Raines, AT THE EXACT SAME TIME as Rick Davis is cashing $15,000 monthly checks from Fannie Mae? Pathetic!

I couldn't see myself ever voting for her, but Palin is a fresh and engaging political personality. Given a reasonable amount of time to learn the ropes, she could have become a contender. By pulling her in way over her head so quickly, and then dragging her into this farce of a campaign, the McCaniacs have pretty much destroyed her as a politically viable national candidate. Hopefully, she'll return the favor and carve them up with that moose knife real good!
