(CNN) – In yet another sign that Democrats are putting the contentious and hard-fought primary season behind them, former President Bill Clinton will campaign with Sen. Barack Obama for the first time in Florida on Wednesday, according to Matt McKenna of the Clinton Foundation.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will not attend the event but did recently campaign with Obama in Florida, a crucial battleground state that CNN currently considers a toss-up.

The Clintons also recently campaigned together with Sen. Joe Biden and Biden’s wife, Jill, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where both Joe Biden and Sen. Clinton have roots.

Obama met personally with former President Clinton in September at Clinton’s Harlem offices. Then, Clinton predicted that Obama would win in November “pretty handily.”

Bill Clinton is as good as Sarah Palin at getting his message across, which means she is just plain a liar, and with Bill it depends on what the definition of "is" is.. I hope Barak Obama keeps his own message going, and leaves Bill Clinton in the dust. If Obama really wants to win then do it yourself, don't listen to an old has been Bill that threw it all away. Bill was busy with Monica when Osama could have been taken, but Bill got distracted and we've been paying for it ever since.

That is what one calls unity. They all have the same goal in mind and with that in mind are doing their part to ensure that Obama wins.

Go Clintons thanks for doing your part for change in America.

Obama/Biden all da way to the WHITE HOUSE.

I have a question:

I see more and more posts everyday about Obama not being elgible to run for president because he supposedly is not a U.S. citizen because he was born in Kenya not Hawaii. Aside from the fact that Factcheck.org and other independant agencies have stated his Hawaiin birth certifiate is legit- wouldn't he still be a U.S. citizen, even if born outside of U.S. territory, since his mother was a U.S. citizen?

I know that if you are born on U.S. soil, whether your parents are citizens or not, you are considered a U.S. citizen. So wouldn't it make sense that the child of a U.S. citizen born in another country while their mother is vacationing would still be a citizen since their parents are?

Some one please clarify if you could. I think its a dead issue anyways since I believe he WAS born in Hawaii, but if my logic is correct then it wouldnt matter anyways.

The Clintons are smart. Hillary is getting her respect back and Obama will definitely do the same for her come 2012. Imagine Hillary Vs Palin in 2012.
It is too bad that John Macain did not learn from democratic primary and is repeating the same mistake Hilary made, attacking Obama.
Any advisor who cares for Macain legacy should advice him to go down with dignity. Is not about loosing the election but at his age should be worried more about the legacy he will eave behind in the history of USA.

"Bury the hatchet", are you kidding me? The only reason the Clinton's have anything to do with the Obama Campaign is because they are on the hook for 12 million of their own money they hope to get back from the Democratic Party. After that, perhaps they will concern themselves with the many supporters who donated to their compaign as well. Give me a break !

paulstewart2   October 25th, 2008 7:13 pm ET

Yeah, Bill has finally come to his senses. Glad he did. And glad it worked out the way it did. Better that Obama does not owe him too much. And better it was never necessary to lean too heavily on Bill. He has too much baggage and Obama needs to do what he thinks is best with Hillary to take form the strongest possible Team America.

With 10 days left the last thing McCain can afford is the press salivating for a couple of days over the Bill-Barack team campaigning together, not to mention that Bill, like few others, can really stick it to the failed Bush-McCain ideology in his speeches.

Obama and his campaign continue to amaze me…wow! If he runs the country half as well as he has run his campaign America is about to experience some of its best years.

nick   October 25th, 2008 7:09 pm ET

Clinton is such an opportunist. Now that he and his wife realize Obama is on the cusp of victory, they are jumping on the bandwagon. It's too late for Bill and Hillary to rehabilitate their standing. An Obama administration should not give them the time of day.

IT¨S so pathetic that OBAMA needs BUSH so badly that in every speech he has to connect McCain to BUSH and to tell the voters how bad last 8 years were….
Bush has nothing to do with 9/11 but he has prevented new terrorist actions in american soil…and people should give Bush credit for that..

Yes…enough with the little tiff. We loved Hillary also because she was a very strong candidate, but we are all on the same team and have the same views and that's what matters. Who actually executes those views in office is not as significant as the views/policies themselves. Nice to see all Americans are uniting for Obama, he's definitely a unifier!

Those Palin supporters, inside the campaign and out, said Palin blames her handlers for a botched rollout and a tarnished public image — even as others in McCain's camp blame the pick of the relatively inexperienced Alaska governor, and her public performance, for McCain's decline.
Do the Republican candidates EVER think that anything might be their problem ? Perhaps if they could focus on the problelms of this country instead of their OWN personal problems we might gain or accommplish something GOOD.

nelson   October 25th, 2008 6:59 pm ET

judging by the Mccain/Palin's ticket's internal problems, Obama/Biden
/Clinton ticket looks very to me. I don't see any big chinks in their armor and they should prevail. The awful negative adds have hurt them also and only time will tell how it "ends", but I suspect the GOP
will self destruct after election and rightfully so.

Ron from Baltimore   October 25th, 2008 6:59 pm ET

In many, many fine ways, Barack Obama reminds me so much of Bill Clinton. That started with their early national-level speeches, years apart in time yet of the same keen intellect and heartfelt attitude toward the world order.

What a great scene it will be to see the two on stage together; what a nightmare the very image must bring to McCain!

Go Dems! Let's hope everyone stays behind these fine folks—for sure, the going will get rougher for a while.

Awesome! The two first black presidents are teaming up. Maybe together they will be able to make up for the tens of thousands of minority voters that republicans have worked tirelessly to disenfranchise down there. In 2000 if you had a name that sounded remotely similar to a convected felon's name you were purged from the voter rolls.

If that election had been fair, we wouldn't have had these 8 miserable years of one mismanaged catastrophe after another. I don't think the republicans can cheat enough to make a difference this year, but you can be sure they are going to try.

When Barack Obama wins the presidency, it will be because he carried the load by himself, all the way and without the help of Bill Clinton. In reality, a joint appearance works more in Clinton's favor than Barack's. He's looking for redemption and a new place in the party, two wishes he does not deserve coming true. I just hope Obama has enough soap to wash away the stain of being near Clinton.

I came to this country 40 yrs ago with an engineering degree. In india USA means Kenneday. When I became US citizen I signed up with Demo party. I voted for President Carter. Later as demos did not choose a vaible candidate and I felt President Regan was a good choice. Later I voted for senior Bush. Then came our favorite President Clinton. Mr. Bush was elected by Supremcourt and by FEAR tactic. I thought Senator Clinton would be a good choice. I was little petrubed on Obama when he did not elect Senator Clinton as his VP. Based on Obama 's inexperince I was NOT decided until I heard the debates! I am voting for President OBAMA and I, along with many retirees, HOPE he keeps his promises made during his debates. We are hurting with high taxes on Social Security. That should be eliminated soon.

Let us analyze this very carefully.

It is very easy to predict who will win Florida.

In '00, Bush won Florida by 0.5 points.

In '04, as an incumbent, who always has an advantage, Bush won in Fl by 5 points.

With the economy hitting Florida so hard, it is impossible for Florida to pledge allegiance to a republican again.

Obama will win Florida, and therefore win the election.

This is because a republican cannot win the election without all the southern states.

From various blogs I've seen and read I'm surprised that Bill Clinton would support Obama…the Clintons said they had some very serious dirt on Obama and planned to reveal it to the American People at one time. I'm still interested in knowing what that dirt comment is all about?

In any event, Obama with hundreds of Millions of Dollars to push his run for the White House with advertising nearly 7 times that of McCain…if I were Obama I think I would have said no thanks to the Clintons..I don't really need your endorsement, as we have seen the Clintons don't do anything for anybody unless there is something in for them.

There are stark differences between both campaigns ~and it is great to see the Dems put forth a "united front"…unlike the divided McCane camp, that has blown out all tires on the "zig-zag" express…to the tune of $150,000 on their "rogue" (or is that vogue) VP Mominee.

It is interesting that the genuinely intelligent people like Bill Clinton, a Rhodes Scholar, Colin Powell, a distinguished general and former secretary of state and Warren Buffet the smartest and most successful investor of all time all endorse Obama. I hope that Clinton can educate enough of the American people about socialism as it's practiced in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world.
In a nutshell -people pay taxes- usually the more they earn the more they pay. Taxes are used to provide services- roads, social security, postal service, education and the like that are available to all. That is what social democrats provide. Is that not the system in place now?
Republican socialism is the other way around – the lower income folks kick in their taxes to bail out billionaire bankers.

American cousins- please make the intelligent choice.

Mac, your cousin from the great white north

Having eked out a nail-biting victory over Hillary Clinton and carved out his own political niche as his own man, Barack Obama is now in a position to command the respect of all Democrat Party leaders, inlcuding the Clintons.

I know Americans want change in the direction the country is going, but even though none of us knows where exactly the country will go under Obama or John McCain, most Americans seem to have more confidence in the message from Obama's camp.

If there is one major mistake that McCain made that turned lots of Independents off is his choice of Sarah Palin. Had he chosen Mitt Romney, I think the polls would have been reversed today.

Is it too late to dump Palen?

Well, now. Obama just lost my vote and any respect that I had for him as a politician. Bill and Hillary Clinton are nothing but white trash that got lucky. They have made millions off of the American people and are laughing all the way to the bank! We can thank Bill for a large portion of this current fiscal nightmare–ten years ago he was the president who promised "mortgages for everyone", and looser credit. everyone got credit–whether they could afford it or not. I was one of them. I remember the speech–where he literally promised taxpayers looser borrowing guidelines so that the average person could finally afford to buy a home of their own. Most everyone that I know had a house, good job, education, etc. long before Bill Clinton came along. During the Clinton years, I remember being shocked at some folks credit lines, borrowing ability vs. income, and I KNEW there was no way they would ever be able to pay it back. Well, it's now come full circle after ten years, and everyone is in deep. But not Bill and Hillary. The had nothing to begin with, went to school on our or our parents' dime, and made mega-millions off of us all. That is the legacy they left, and that shouldn't be forgotten. It's easy to blame George Bush, as he's the sitting president. But, economic disaster of this proportion takes years to fester before finally collapsing–just about ten years…

Faye of Ohio   October 25th, 2008 6:17 pm ET

The Clintons are looking better and better to me after hearing so much about the Palins. I was never a supporter of Hillary, but I always thought of her as honest and intelligent. Hillary is a regular Einstein compared to Sarah Palin. Both Clintons are super intelligent, and so is Barack Obama. We need BRAINS to get us out of the current mess our country is in, not the faux folksy antics of an inane former beauty queen like Palin. It is so scary to think that she, if McCain were elected, would be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Thank you, Bill and Hillary, for giving your support and presence to Barack Obama!

Why I Can't Vote For Obama
By Huntley Brown

Dear Friends, A few months ago I was asked for my perspective on Obama, I sent out an email with a few points. With the election just around the corner I decided to complete my perspective. Those of you on my e-list have seen some of this before but it's worth repeating…

First I must say whoever wins the election will have my prayer support. Obama needs to be commended for his accomplishments but I need to explain why I will not be voting for him.

Many of my friends process their identity through their blackness. I process my identity through Christ. Being a Christian (a Christ follower) means He leads I follow. I can't dictate the terms He does because He is the leader.

I can't vote black because I am black; I have to vote Christian because that's who I am. Christian first, black second. Neither should anyone from the other ethnic groups vote because of ethnicity. 200 years from now I won't be asked if I was black or white. I will be asked if I knew Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

In an election there are many issues to consider but when a society gets abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning to name a few, wrong economic concerns will soon not matter.

We need to follow Martin Luther King's words, don't judge someone by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I don't know Obama so all I can go off is his voting record. His voting record earned him the title of the most liberal senator in the US Senate in 2007.

NATIONAL JOURNAL: Obama: Most Liberal Senator in 2007 (01/31/2008)

To beat Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton as the most liberal senator, takes some doing. Obama accomplished this feat in 2 short years. I wonder what would happen to America if he had four years to work with.

There is a reason Planned Parenthood gives him a 100 % rating. There is a reason the homosexual community supports him. There is a reason Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, Hamas etc. love him. There is a reason he said he would nominate liberal judges to the Supreme Court. There is a reason he voted against the infanticide bill. There is a reason he voted No on the constitutional ban of same-sex marriage. There is a reason he voted No on banning partial birth abortion. There is a reason he voted No on confirming Justices Roberts and Alito. These two judges are conservatives and they have since overturned partial birth abortion. The same practice Obama wanted to continue.

Let's take a look at the practice he wanted to continue

The 5 Step Partial Birth Abortion procedures:

A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps. (Remember this is a live baby)
B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.
D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.
E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

God help him. There is a reason Obama opposed the parental notification law.

Think about this: You can't give a kid an aspirin without parental notification but that same kid can have an abortion without parental notification. This is insane.

There is a reason he went to Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years.

Obama tells us he has good judgment but he sat under Jeremiah Wright teaching for 20 years. Now he is condemning Wright's sermons. I wonder why now?

Obama said Jeremiah Wright led him to the Lord and discipled him. A disciple is one in training. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 – 20 'Go and make disciples of all nations.' This means reproduce yourself. Teach people to think like you, walk like you; talk like you believe what you believe etc. The question I have is what did Jeremiah Wright teach him?

Would you support a White President who went to a church which has tenets that said they have a ..

1. Commitment to the White Community
2. Commitment to the White Family
3. Adherence to the White Work Ethic
4. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the White Community.
5. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
6. Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the White Value System
7. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.

Would you support a President who went to a church like that?

Just change the word from white to black and you have the tenets of Obama's former church. If President Bush was a member of a church like this, he would be called a racist. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been marching outside.

This kind of church is a racist church. Obama did not wake up after 20 years and just discovered he went to a racist church. The church can't be about race. Jesus did not come for any particular race. He came for the whole world.

A church can't have a value system based on race. The churches value system has to be based on biblical mandate. It does not matter if itʼs a white church or a black church it's still wrong. Anyone from either race that attends a church like this would never get my vote.

Obama's former Pastor Jeremiah Wright is a disciple of liberal theologian James Cone, author of the 1970 book A Black Theology of Liberation. Cone once wrote: 'Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.

Cone is the man Obama's mentor looks up to. Does Obama believe this?

So what does all this mean for the nation?

In the past when the Lord brought someone with the beliefs of Obama to lead a nation it meant one thing – judgment.

Read 1 Samuel 8 when Israel asked for a king. First God says in 1 Samuel 1:9 'Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.'

Then God says

1 Samuel 1:18 ' When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.' 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. 'No!' they said. 'We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.' 21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, 'Listen to them and give them a king.'

Here is what we know for sure.

God is not schizophrenic

He would not tell one person to vote for Obama and one to vote for McCain. As the scripture says, a city divided against itself cannot stand, so obviously many people are not hearing from God.

Maybe I am the one not hearing but I know God does not change and Obama contradicts many things I read in scripture so I doubt it.

For all my friends who are voting for Obama can you really look God in the face and say; Father based on your word, I am voting for Obama even though I know he will continue the genocidal practice of partial birth abortion.. He might have to nominate three or four Supreme Court justices, and I am sure he will be nominating liberal judges who will be making laws that are against you. I also know he will continue to push for homosexual rights, even though you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this. I know I can look the other way because of the economy.

I could not see Jesus agreeing with many of Obama's positions. Finally I have two questions for all my liberal friends.

Since we know someone's value system has to be placed on the nation,

1. Whose value system should be placed on the nation.

2. Who should determine that this is the right value system for the nation?

Blessings, Huntley Brown

Forward to election night….Obama wins by a landslide. McCain frowns and looks mad as heck. Someone tires to comfort him that "the best man didn't win," and "it was the media's fault."
Sarah Palin wipes a tear away from her eye, and mutters "God help us." Meanwhile, the rest of the country and world celebrate for a steady week the victory of Barack Obama's well deserved and much anticipated bid for the presidency. Later the next day, the stock market surges ahead with the highest gains in a quarter, anticipating a better tomorrow for all.

It should mean a lot for voters to see that Obama and the Democrats can reach back to Clinton to come out and support their philosophy and the Republicans had to pick a so-called maverick and then dodge any support from Bush.

More and more the Republicans look like a train wreck with a broken platform and I think this country needs to strong parties so, Republicans how about starting to re-brand your party starting now until the election regardless of the result, you are one more election cycle closer to recovery.

We have to remove the neo cons and their attack win at all costs strategy and bring back the intelligent and thoughtful debate on economy and national defense. I for one am hopeful we don't see Sarah Palin or any of the George W. Bush style candidates. Start with your Governor of Louisiana and build from there.

I hope the culture wars are over, but I know the right wing will plot to bring back Palin so it's up to the moderates to save the party.

Bill Clinton is a moderate and hopefully Obama learns from him on middle of the road policies and doesn't look to Pelosi. By the way, Democrats will have a short 4 years in power if they go the Pelosi and Reed style of government, Obama will have his hands full and I would like to see a veto or something to send the message when these big spending bills start showing up to let everyone know he will use his brain and not the platform to govern.

USA Money reports Democrats and Republicans Net worth difference is only $5 Million dollars.

If we could only be so lucky.

Let's check the numbers:

Bill and Hillary Clinton from $36 Million Dollars since leaving the White House to $362 Million

Barack Michelle Obama $10 Million Dollars

John McCain $25 Million Dollars

Joe Biden $500,000 Dollars

Sara Palin $340,000 Dollars

By all accounts only 2 of the candidates can basically relate to the American People.

One was in it for the money.

The Clintons are doing what they have to do. Politics is their career/bread and butter. Like any of us, they must get up everyday and work with these people – good and bad. However, those of us who oppose and protest the stealing of yet another election – this time by our own party leaders, do not have to fall in step. If you don't think we see how this Manchurian candidate was propped up for history's sake at the expense of the most qualified leader the DNC has seen since the days of Bill Clinton, think again. It will be great to have both Clinton and Obama campaign together. It will show this country that both intelligent guys who succeeded and will succeed the Bushes and put this country in their natural standing in the world will do it again. What we need is someone who will make an intelligent decision not someone who will turn the "White House" to "WWF" house. Being in the military on being in Washington for a long time does not necessarily show leadership or experience to lead. McCain has shown that he is not a leader. A man who could not run his family cannot run this country. McCain, I love your military background but be honest to yourself and this country. McCain, you will not be a good leader that his world seriously need neither is Palin who could not control her family be ready to run this country.

Bill's support can't hurt but Obama doesn't really need Bill or Hillary at this point since he has already locked up the election by running a superb campaign against the feeble, mean spirited, and chaotic efforts of the McCain camp. I had problems with Bill Clinton when he was running for President. I just didn't trust him and therefore i did not vote for him. I was partially right but what i did learn is that while he was not the most honest man in history when it came to campaigning he did have good interest at heart. He did things i didn't like but he did them at least for the right reasons. He and his wife Hillary have always put the interests of the little guy very high on their priority lists. Bill did wonders for our economy and much of the economic philosophies are apparent in the Obama plan. Barack has an even more complex, well thought out plan to bring the economy back even faster than Bill did. We also heard the same things back then that the bottom up economics would destroy our economy and they were lies then and they are lies now. Oh how the Republicans like to lie to scare the average Joe. I think people are not being fooled so easily this time.

The democratic party is unified. The McCain campaign is in chaos. Sarah has gone rogue and is clearly looking out for herself and a future run for the Presidency. Palin is looking forward to 2012. This is great news for the democrats. Sarah is a terrible candidate with a huge downside. A Palin run in four years makes Barack a shoe-in for re-election. Sarah is the republican party at it's worst. Not only does her party run without ideas, they are a party that is against the very idea of ideas. All bluster and the politics of division.

philip   October 25th, 2008 5:44 pm ET

It's about time but he is a day late and a dollar short. Senator Obama has done this on his own without any help from Bill Clinton. Talk about being full of oneself. I am a lifelong democrat from a long heritage of democrats who voted for Clinton. Mr. Clinton get over yourself.

Barbara   October 25th, 2008 5:44 pm ET

Bill is merely coming to terms that Sen. Obama will win; Sen. Obama does not need him and I hope he will merely be polite and not use Bill in any significant position.

Country first   October 25th, 2008 5:37 pm ET

When you go out there to vote you better pay good attention and double check your vote before you summit it. In some state if not all the republicans fix the machine up. If you vote straight democratic they fix the machine so your presidential vote go for McCain instead of Barack. So you might think you vote for Barack and the machine was fix and it goes the other way. So pay good attention to make sure your presidential vote goes to your choosing candidate. These are disgusting tactics that the republicans are using right now in some part of Texas and may be nationwide. We need fair and free election so rigging these machines is nothing but disgusting tactics. Also when you go to the polling place no political T-shirt because they will turn you away.

I'm very pleased that former President Bill Clinton, will be on the campaign trail with Senator Barack Obama. That's what our party need in order to show the Republicans party, how being united can bring our country together. Bill Clinton, bring a lots to the table. Most people remember how good the economy, was when he was running our Country. The majority of the people, can see that same leadership in Barack Obama. They feel he can bring about the change, we need to get America back to the good time, we experience when President Clinton was running the White House. The two of them together can possibly sway, the undecided voters that need that extra push, to make a decision to choose Obama. Obama / Biden 08

I am glad that the Clintons are doing what is right for this country and their party. I have always had respect for the Clintons.

Just an aside- Don't you remember when the Republicans slammed the Clintons because Bill was 'immoral' for having an affair, yet the John McCain cheated on his wife and married his mistress- Cindy. How quiet the Republicans are now about 'family values'. Hypocrites.

Obama/Biden in 2008!

Sabato   October 25th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

I was a republican until Obama came out for presidency and i became a full Democrat. McCain and his vice presidential candidate are very annoying. The worst mistake of McCain's life was to pick Sarah Palin as his VP candidate who's hurting his campaign and dividing the republican party. I'm so excited that McCain will lose this election. Long live the Obama/Biden ticket, long live the Democrats, long live the United States of America. Victory is ours and God will see us through.

Perhaps Bill Clinton can put the primary race behind him.

I think when Sen. Barack Obama telephoned him during the economic crisis to get his opinion, he felt respected and needed, and made Bill Clinton feel that his "star" has not faded.

That was smart of Obama.

Obama has been the only candidate who actually makes sense, his message of change is clear and inspiring and is trying to unite this country. It makes sense then, that Bill Clinton has seen in him a natural leader and his successor.

McCain, on the other hand, can't even control his own campaign and he wants to handle our country? McCain's campaign has been poorly managed, another example (as his response during the crisis) that he is NOT the kind of leader we need. Obama and Biden have done a much better job, running an almost flawless and serious campaign!

For good judgment and experience, VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN '08!!!

Bill Clinton even with your flaus & little willy you are more cenered with policey than Obama can or ever will be! If this race was race over gender the Democratic party has hurt its self, by going to far to the left in respect to Obama and his position compared even to former "John F. Kennedy" was even more centered than Obama.

To the Obama supporters and all they may say and think Osama’s Presidency would be so Frikin Liberal that the laws of the land would become so loose that his choices and ideas would destroy society and the fabrics there with, and will make it a free for all or an out right sod-am and Gomorrah. All of which choosing Obama would be wrong for all and will be answerable to God in his second coming and those whom choose him are beholder to there choice in this election!!!

THIS IS NOT BECAUSE HE IS A BLACK MAN OR WHITE!!!

Sarah Palin had strong words about a Democraticly controlled government. All sorts of awful things will happen to Americans, and she listed some.

I would love to ask her (but she is not allowed to speak to anyone) if she would feel the same way if the Republicans controlled congress and the presidency.

Or ask her how she feels about when it actually did happen. Was it OK, Sarah?

McCain always says 'I know how to do it' but he never explains his 'How' and that what american people want to know. It is not enough to just say I know how to do it and it will convince a voter. The 'how' is the key. He was probably a spectator but that does not make you capable to execute. We need proof. Also your experience is just the spectator one, because McCain has never ordered anyone to do, never had any executive position, so what experience he and surrogates are pounding on again and again. We need substance not words or attacks on the other without explaining your own solutions. Time is running out, come on, tell us more before we make up our mind. And do not forget, the world of the 21st century has total different variables than your world of the 19th/20th century.

Good to see that Bill is going to put his hurt feelings aside and campaign w/Obama instead of FOR him. It's a subtle difference, but it could swing a few more crucial undecided votes in Florida! I'm so ready for this election to get here…we even have a bottle of champagne in the fridge chilling!!

Baby love   October 25th, 2008 4:50 pm ET

go Clinton

Mike Hunt   October 25th, 2008 4:49 pm ET

Kinda late to be jumping on the Obama bandwagon isn't it?

Just kidding. Bill did a great job in soft selling to moderates & independents in recent weeks and fully deserves to be "in the mix" for the final week of what will go down as a historic, world-changing campaign.

Obama wins, simply by staying quiet from this point on until election, and without making any blunder.

Susan in Delaware   October 25th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Do you think Bill will actually be able to look at BO or speak his name? Who can blame him after the way the Obamabots demonized Bill and Hillary. And please tell me why I'm supposed to believe a word from Bill after the Obama campaign repeatedly told me what a racist liar he was? Ah, politics.

Debby   October 25th, 2008 4:48 pm ET

Okay if you say so CNN just like Palin going rouge. You will do anything to prop your Messiah up by either crediting or discreting others.

I wish it was Bill Clinton running for prez and Obama was campaigning for him. We need Bill's economic wisdom. We almost had him back in the White House, but it was not meant to be. I hope Obama is as good a president as he is a politician running for president.

kay MA   October 25th, 2008 4:43 pm ET

It's about time, seriously. The Hillary supporters need to suck it up and vote Obama, not John McCain. Don't be a sore loser. They all want to vote for McCain… well I find it hard to believe they would embrace the next four years under a McCain administration

ALICE   October 25th, 2008 4:43 pm ET

If Obama wins; Speilberg's next documentary, "Mind Snatchers" will be filled w/ cameos by Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, etc., boasting of how they, along w/ the media majority, convinced millions of Americans to file into the voting booth, unaware, much like the Jews who marched into the gas chambers, that they were about to lose their lives. If you do not believe in the true God, you cannot know the truth. I only feel sorry for any news media personnel who wake up after this election, and realize it may be too late. Everyone can decide for themselves if they are shown the truth. God is still in control, and we will survive to continue to fight the enemy.

For once, please post my comment cnn

Did everyone read the Palin oing rogue story? John is down in the polls. Now the campaign is saying that Palin isn't playing by the rules and doing her own thing. Palin didn't play out like McCain wanted. The going rogue story is a way to lay down the foundation of the McCain camp dumping Palin. Story starts with her going rogue. Next they will be dissatisfied with her. Then there will be something going on with her deposition. Then and finally, Palin will say that there is something in Alaska that requires the governors full attention. She will drop out, and McCain will take Tom Ridge on the ticket to boost his polling in Pennsylvania.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   October 25th, 2008 4:38 pm ET

Obama's campaign is like baking a cake with all the right ingredients and now Obama is spreading the icing with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Now it's time for all Obama/Biden supporters to meet at the polls and vote.

Evidence that democrats are united as a family. They believe in their course to redeem america and the world from the Bush choas. I remember Clinton campaigning for Al Gore in 2000.Why can't Bush campaign for Mccain if they believe that republicans are good enough for the country. Campaign, Bill,Carter,Hillary,Richardson etc for the incoming change that america and the world needed most

I went to a restaurant where a beggar was working the streets outside. When the waiter brought the bill, I paid it but left no tip. The waiter asked why since he felt he gave me good service. I said I'm spreading the wealth and your tip is going to the beggar outside.

Apologize to one another like grown men should, because you are on the same side and say, Let's get it done into victory.

Thank You President Clinton

Obama need all the help he can get and this mean you America.

America you get out there and vote.

I wonder if Obama will have the nerve to call Bill Clinton a racist to his face. He was big on saying McCain didn't have the nerve to ask him about Ayers to his face, so put your money where your mouth is Mr. Obama, tell President Clinton to his face he's a racist.

I wonder why you are inviting a racist to campaign with you Mr Obama, could it be that you really don't think Clinton is a racist, could it be that you will do or say anything to win

The rule here is simple– Go and vote early, if your state allows it. I now confess that I voted proudly for the Obama/Biden ticket this afternoon. It comes with such great feeling to vote, it also helps make up for my last vote for Bush/Chaney. I continue to beg God's forgiveness for contributing to the failure of our nation by voting for Bush/Chaney; never will I vote on moral issues again. That is between the individual and his/her God. As a christian, my command from God is simple: "to love my neighbor as myself." God, and only God alone will fight issues of abortion, morality and so on. I know full well that God always chose leaders with Intelligence, such as King Solomon.

In yet another sign that CNN has gone completely tabliod in relation to the election, they post a story "Palin: Going Rouge". In this "story" they repeatedly quote "this source" or "another campaign source". It is a thin blanket to cover a false report. It is the type of reporting The National Enquierer uses to avoid lawsuits and publish whatever fiction they want.

I really don't think it makes a difference at this point whether President Clinton campaigns with Obama or not. In my opinion he has done a splendid job of showing America that he dislikes Obama (which is understandable given that he defeated his wife in the primaries). That said I think Hillary has handled the situation with grace.

That is one of the few smart and correct things (that Obama would win handily in November) that Bill Clinton has said in recent months.
Yeah for Bill, he finally got on the bandwagon . . . or could it be he and Hilary are indebted to Obama for Hil's helping to reduce Hil's campaign debt? Either way, I'm glad to see they are all joining forces unlike the devisive McSame camp and "rogue" Palin!
It will all be over in 10 days anyway. I predict the same outcome Bill
Clinton did. Ya know the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" . . . well, George got us twice . . . we don't want and can't afford to be fooled again! I already voted, did you? . . .

If Sen. Obama wants Florida, just make direct talk to Cuba as soon as he is in the White House. Free Cuba and he will make history.

Only 10 days before the Nov 4, Sen Obama should now promote peace and against all wars. Bring back our young soliders. Rebuild our country. He will be a global hero.

I am so surprised Sen. McCain was a POW yet he wants wars and bombs. He didn't learn his lessons or what?

President Clinton 's predication will come true.

This country is heading towards a "THIRD WORLD COUNTRY STATUS"

Do we have to?
or Do we have to turn things around and change our economy with the best Clinton economic advisers surrounding Obama administration and campaign?

Years of conservative republican influence is bringing this country close to third world status and the extreme christian right wing if given enough power might put us into the next world war.

Giving tax credits to the rich lead to companies laying off thousands of workers and sending jobs oversea. I thought the tax credit was to encourage more hiring and create new jobs. Now companies are going bankrupt.

How is John McCain tax policy different from George Bush?

If you make a million dollars. a 10 percent tax wouldn't hurt you.
If you make $50,000, a 10 percent tax would hurt you.

McCain loses Florida he is toast. As long as the election is honest Obama should win in Florida very handily. Too many sensible people in this state to elect a befuddled old man and an extremist without a clue of what is going on outside of Alaska.

rafael   October 25th, 2008 4:05 pm ET

Gov. Palin does not understand the reasearch or has not read about the reasearch being done for Autistic kids so before she opens her mouth she should read or be informed.

Edith   October 25th, 2008 4:05 pm ET

God is good….all the time…and all the time….God is good! I am thankful and appreciative of Both Bill and Hillary putting there support behind Obama. We didn't go wrong when we chose President Clinton and we will not go wrong with President Obama. I have faith because of the decesions he has already made in his VP Canidate. Not putting Hillary down by no means…her day is coming when God is ready. I am in the fight for Change. I have always been taught…if you always do what you have always done….you will always get what you always got! With that being said..I put my future and the my kids in your hands. I as honored to attend Obamas rally in Richmond and was overwhelmed with the divirsity of support. As I stood in line with an elderly white woman with her son, she never thought she would vote for a black person…she made a joke…she says now that she is partially blind..she doesn't see color very well!….Our family send our best wishes and much appriecation for a grandson so well groomed…to "Toot"

Christopher   October 25th, 2008 4:03 pm ET

I'm kinda sick of all these canidates trying to get attention. They all make promises they can't possibly keep. In one hand they want to provide health care for every american, and on the other they want to cut taxes. You can't take in less money and spend more. McCain, Palin, Obama, and Biden are all the same when you get right down to it. They're all so full of crap they've got it comming out of their mouths. They should just get up there and tell us what they want to do and how much it's going to cost. At least then it'd be honest.

blkkbbeauty   October 25th, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Goooooooooooo Obama Go ! I think McOld shud sit down and take a laxative, and Govenor Palin well she is just plain dumb !

Ben   October 25th, 2008 4:03 pm ET

It's great to see Bill Clinton continuing to play a role in the campaign. There couldn't be a greater contrast in the state of the nation under Clinton and under Bush and it seems there's a large portion of Americans who need to be reminded that we were prosperous under Democratic leadership, not under Republican leadership. Although I doubt he would brag about himself I hope former President Clinton will be able to remind Americans that the Democratic plan can work and has worked and that it's much better than the Republican plan that John McCain would like to continue for another four years.

Kate Fergus   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Let's hope Clinton is right about Obama winning "pretty handily". He knows that country needs Obama to get out of the mess created by the Republicans. He knows that a cool hand and intelligence coupled with great judgment will help the country to weather the economic storms that are brewing.

Obama/Biden '08

Jennifer   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Billo boy! thats whats up..we need you man..spit out your wisdom. let the dems take over once more and make this country better

sensi johnson   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

I am a just delighted that true meaning of democracy has finally taken its roots. The power of the people for the people by the people.
This process is creating a different feelings for America and Americans around the world. The world is once again begining to view this country as it's leader in times of war and peace.
My 2 cents!

Jojo Jones   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Just look at CNN's headlines and you will see how hard they are trying to chop McCain/Palin down. Everyone can see right through your deceit!

James From Chicago   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

That's the best news I've heard yet. Clinton was the best President
in history. With Clinton & Obama it's a sure win.

Marianne   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

good to see the Dems pulling together.

Chipster   October 25th, 2008 4:02 pm ET

If the media wants to report on internal bickering, power struggles, and staff dissent, they'll have to visit the McCain/Palin (or is that Palin/McCain) campaign. Democrats are united and focused on restoring our nation's economy and standing in the world.

KJL   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

The Clintons are smart enough to realize that a McCain government could be devastating. McCain fosters a hostile environment and someone would be likely to drop a bomb on us, while Obama would be willing to discuss differences with our enemies and sort things out without war.

Phillip Bunn   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Too little, too late. Piss on Bill Clinton. He should have been campaigning for Obama as soon as Hillary "finally" admitted defeat. Instead, he chose to pout and praise morons like Sarah Palin, all in a futile attempt to make up for his impotence and incompetence.

Frank G   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Gee, why not wait until the last week.
Guess better late than never.

Matt in North Carolina   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Barack Obama respects the expertise of others,That is the mark of a true leader, one who brings together the best expertise of others,Bill CLinton belivies Obama is the CHANGE we need in Washington…

Obama 2008   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Joyce in Florida   October 25th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

This is fantastic. I had the pleasure of seeing Hillary Clinton when she was here in September. Obama is going to win Florida!!!!!!!! Go Obama/Biden 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two Smart Guys on One Team   October 25th, 2008 3:59 pm ET

This is good.

Two of the smartest guys in politics working together for a common cause.

Too bad they can't just turn former president Clinton loose to hit multiple states [Arkansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Georgia] by himself on Barack's behalf but everyone knows that carries some risk that Bill go off message.

Together though, they will be fine.

I am For OBAMA/BIDEN   October 25th, 2008 3:59 pm ET

I really like the Clintons and realize their need to process Hillary's unsuccessful bid for nomination. She did a great job. They are true DEMOCRATS and I believe will help to push the win of the presidency toward OBAMA.

Charlie Bradley   October 25th, 2008 3:58 pm ET

This is Great :) I wonder if Clinton would be open to being part of Obama's cabinet :) I hope he will use his SOUTHERN breeding to agressively stamp OUT the Republican candidate

rachel   October 25th, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I hope Obama appreciates the Clintons. yesterdaHillary was in CO yesterday and will be in New Mexico today. All his supporters who gripe about what they haven't done should take a look at the republicans and be grateful. Huckabee, and Romney have done about Zero for McCain. Hillary especially has done a tremendous job.

POST CNN and dont leave my post in limbo.

Diane Dagenais Turbide   October 25th, 2008 3:57 pm ET

Bill, The Bible says: "If we do not forget the past, we will not move forward", thanks for being there at the crucial time you are needed. May God guide you.

Ed, Santa Fe, NM   October 25th, 2008 3:54 pm ET

stupid Clinton waits til the last week??? NO THANKS…

reality   October 25th, 2008 3:54 pm ET

It's a testament to Obama's ability to bring people together that he has Bill on his side. He truly can disagree without being disagreeable.

Gigi   October 25th, 2008 3:54 pm ET

I look foward to seeing Bill Clinton with Barack Obama. I thing it will be good for the Obama campaign to hear Bill Clinton and his speech. I have watched Clinton on the trail and he has come across very nicely.

Ghost   October 25th, 2008 3:53 pm ET

Good get everyone out to support Obama. We need a landslide. Everyone has to remember to get out and VOTE. Even with polls on our side they do not count if you don't vote!

Observer   October 25th, 2008 3:52 pm ET
