(CNN) – In yet another sign that Democrats are putting the contentious and hard-fought primary season behind them, former President Bill Clinton will campaign with Sen. Barack Obama for the first time in Florida on Wednesday, according to Matt McKenna of the Clinton Foundation.
Sen. Hillary Clinton will not attend the event but did recently campaign with Obama in Florida, a crucial battleground state that CNN currently considers a toss-up.
The Clintons also recently campaigned together with Sen. Joe Biden and Biden’s wife, Jill, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where both Joe Biden and Sen. Clinton have roots.
Obama met personally with former President Clinton in September at Clinton’s Harlem offices. Then, Clinton predicted that Obama would win in November “pretty handily.”
That should be a rally well worth watching..saw Clinton say yesterday to folks, we are going to witness an earthquake election now..I believe that ! If just can control voting machines and suppressing the votes..I will sure be watching to see Obama and Clinton stump together..waht a duo..
GO OBAMA..TEXANS LOVING YOU
All I have to say is, "lets get this party started!"
Having Clintons council on the economy and job creation will be very helpful for Obama.
Get out and VOTE
YAhoo!!!!!
It had to be this way. All the people in Hillary's camp that fussed about super delegates, and all the people in Barack's camp that repudiated the Clintons failed to understand the importance of party. I never did. Love the Clintons, love Obama. Go Democrats!
Bill Clinton buries the hatchet........into another intern?
Bill is just going through the motions with events like these. I'm sure he'd secretly like to see McCain win so his wife can have another go in four years.
i suppose the Obama crowd is in disbelief. recall the many accusations of selfishness lobbed at the Clintons this past spring, as if selfishness is something Barack is immune to. hope, of course, is blinding.
I just want to know if I can have their suits when they are done with them.
Great News! Bill Clinton is a living reminder that Democrats know how to handle the economy. Clinton cleaned up Reagan's economic mess. Now let's hope Obama can clean up Bush's economic mess. It won't be easy.
BACK TO SLEEP BILL!!
OMG Bill -say it ain't so – what kind of blackmail does the pimp's thuggers hold over you & Hillary – tell them all to go to hell – the pimp will not be president of this country
Too bad that the Clintons have sunk so low as to fall in line with Obama. They have lost their credibility and Hillary is finished.
YOU CALL THAT CHANGE?????
about time Bill....love ya, love Hillary even more, but about time you backed Obama....he is going to win....Americans have spoken!
I'm very pleased that former President Bill Clinton, will be on the campaign trail with Senator Barack Obama. That's what our party need in order to show the Republicans party, how being united can bring our country together. Bill Clinton, bring a lots to the table. Most people remember how good the economy, was when he was running our Country. The majority of the people, can see that same leadership in Barack Obama. They feel he can bring about the change, we need to get America back to the good time, we experience when President Clinton was running the White House. The two of them together can possibly sway, the undecided voters that need that extra push, to make a decision to choose Obama. Obama / Biden 08
Bill remembers where he buried the hachett.
LOOKS good to me, we are going to win by a landslide
If Obama is so great why cant he run on his own merit. Why does he need the Clintons who are protecting their party, A bitter man toward the Bush administration Colin Powel... Geez seems like everyone has to do his pulling for him.
This week will be the icing on the cake. I have to think that Obama advisers wanted to have the Clintons seen more often towards the end of the election campain. Taking nothing for granted. Everyone vote earlier and encourage people you know to do the same. P.S. I'm no Joe Plummer, I just want to be able to make a decent living and take care of my family.
Welcome to the bandwagon, Bill. Glad you could make it.
President Clinton and President Obama will not only unite the United States of America under one flag. The will also unite the world under on flag of our common humanity! Yes, they can and when we cooperate with them, certainly WE CAN!
Way to work together!
Yes we can on Nov 4th (and earlier for those who can vote early)!
When you go out there to vote you better pay good attention and double check your vote before you summit it. In some state if not all the republicans fix the machine up. If you vote straight democratic they fix the machine so your presidential vote go for McCain instead of Barack. So you might think you vote for Barack and the machine was fix and it goes the other way. So pay good attention to make sure your presidential vote goes to your choosing candidate. These are disgusting tactics that the republicans are using right now in some part of Texas and may be nationwide. We need fair and free election so rigging these machines is nothing but disgusting tactics. Also when you go to the polling place no political T-shirt because they will turn you away.
Bill is right. Obama will win in November. He has the vote of many republicans like me in Texas and across this country. Hope will finally be a reality.
