(CNN) – In yet another sign that Democrats are putting the contentious and hard-fought primary season behind them, former President Bill Clinton will campaign with Sen. Barack Obama for the first time in Florida on Wednesday, according to Matt McKenna of the Clinton Foundation.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will not attend the event but did recently campaign with Obama in Florida, a crucial battleground state that CNN currently considers a toss-up.

The Clintons also recently campaigned together with Sen. Joe Biden and Biden’s wife, Jill, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where both Joe Biden and Sen. Clinton have roots.

Obama met personally with former President Clinton in September at Clinton’s Harlem offices. Then, Clinton predicted that Obama would win in November “pretty handily.”

It's about time, seriously. The Hillary supporters need to suck it up and vote Obama, not John McCain. Don't be a sore loser. They all want to vote for McCain... well I find it hard to believe they would embrace the next four years under a McCain administration

Obama may win the presidency -the American people will lose freedoms and jobs--vote early-and vote often-we can pay later.

Where's Clinton been hiding. He and Hillary are always in the public's eye, speaking their minds. Yet they're campaign for Obama has been
minimal. I don't think they are feeling the "Obama Mania"

  11. we miss you Bill

I wish it was Bill Clinton running for prez and Obama was campaigning for him. We need Bill's economic wisdom. We almost had him back in the White House, but it was not meant to be. I hope Obama is as good a president as he is a politician running for president.

Stop calling the election. You cannot read my mind, and your opinion is not valued above my own.

You don't decide who is our next President.

Okay if you say so CNN just like Palin going rouge. You will do anything to prop your Messiah up by either crediting or discreting others.

Do you think Bill will actually be able to look at BO or speak his name? Who can blame him after the way the Obamabots demonized Bill and Hillary. And please tell me why I'm supposed to believe a word from Bill after the Obama campaign repeatedly told me what a racist liar he was? Ah, politics.

Obama wins, simply by staying quiet from this point on until election, and without making any blunder.

It's closing time, let's say "adieu" to the tired extreme right-wing-neo-con mccain-palin ticket... it's about time we got started.... Let's ride with the momentum and fix our image at home and abroad... Go Dems! Obama08/12

Kinda late to be jumping on the Obama bandwagon isn't it?

Just kidding. Bill did a great job in soft selling to moderates & independents in recent weeks and fully deserves to be "in the mix" for the final week of what will go down as a historic, world-changing campaign.

Good to see that Bill is going to put his hurt feelings aside and campaign w/Obama instead of FOR him. It's a subtle difference, but it could swing a few more crucial undecided votes in Florida! I'm so ready for this election to get here...we even have a bottle of champagne in the fridge chilling!!
