It will always amaze me how the republicans will never admit to doing anything wrong, even after being caught and convicted. Just excuse after excuse, and blaming everyone but the one that did wrong. You guys would never allow that sort of crap from your kids – why do you tolerate it in your politicians? Ted Stevens didn't get into trouble becasue the media was mean to him. You republicans sound like my father after Nixon got in trouble: "The only thing he did wrong was to get caught."

Stevens and Palin worked closely together. She has also been corrupt which is now becoming more and more evident on a daily basis. In the meantime, she has been fueling rallies with hateful comments, and now 2 men have been arrested in a plot to kill over 100 black Americans, including Sen. Obama.

The heat gets a little closer to the Princess herself now; she didn't fight the culture of corruption with big oil in Alaska, she turned the trough in her direction - that natural gas pipeline deal is very shady indeed. So are her contacts with her husband's employer. Not to mention the Wasilla athletic complex scandal. She is a little less gruff than Stevens, but no less corrupt.

I truly hope that Obama/Biden reopen the investigation of Palin's troopergate scandal when the get into office. Perhaps that's why they've been downplaying the findings of Palin's unethical abuse of power as Alaska governor since those findings came to light.

It seems like the politics in Alaska runs to the beat of a different drummer. Governor Palin says she will now carefully monitor the situation. Money seems to be miss handled by Alaska's government.

We don't need that type of judgement as a Vice President as a 'learn as you go' style. We need a right from Day One judgement that Obama and Biden will bring to the table.

America has just gone through 8 years of bad judgement with Bush and Cheney. McCain's judgement for one is he picked Palin as his VP choice.
