Demeaned and debased by Obama, Hillary is just going through the motions and praying for Obama's failure over the next four years. And of course as Obama begins to falter and cannot overcome the Depression,
Hillary and Bill will quickly jump on him. Can't wait to see this.

CNN. There you go again... Making your headlines tilt in the dems favor ALWAYS. when, in fact, all the recent polls show a tightening and uptick for McCain and downturn for Obama. Please, at least, try and be accurate and truthful.

I am voting for Obama, its the least I can do to stop the madness of the last 8 years. I do have one suggestion, stop another madness by banning ALL campaign advertising 48 hrs before election day, this will give the electorate time to digest everything that has been thrown at them and allow for a more accurate decision on who and what to vote for.

Within two years of his election to office, and with the support of a democratic Congress, Obama will re-institute the fairness doctrine and run Fox news out of business by demanding rebuttal time for nearly anything it reports, while leaving the liberal MSM alone. His administration will also not grant conservative media access of any kind.

By then, with the economy in shambles, he and the democratic party will announce that the "failed republican policies of the last 8 years (never mind that democrats controlled the house and senate for the last two), have made it impossible to govern the country in the short term, so we are suspending presidential elections until such time as the country is stabilized."

Wealth redistribution has been tried often in South America, yet, somehow, the barrios remain.

Both McCain and Obama are poor choices to lead our nation. The Republicans gave us an old pol who goes whichever the way the political wind is blowing; the democrats have given us an extreme narcissist with a messianic complex who has really no record on which to make a determination about whether he is qualified to lead our nation in these difficult times. Now is the time for serious people to answer serious questions, I don’t think either man is capable of doing so. Will we ever have the honor to cast a vote for someone for whom the best interest of the nation is paramount? Self aggrandizement is not a good reason to run for President.

Wow... the idiocy of these posts is astonishing.

I am waiting for McCain/Palin, or any of their supporters, to tell me why we should vote FOR McCain. All I hear are internet rumors and smears against Obama, and as for McCain, all he has left is to grossly mischaracterize Obama's plan in a desperate attempt to fear people into voting against Obama. Again, nothing about why we should vote for him. In one breath, he says Obama is socialist, and in the next, he says we should buy up bad mortgages to save the economy. In one breath he says he will reach across the aisle, and in the next he slams the democrats and embraces the extreme right of the republican party. It's a shame...I don't think McCain is a bad guy, he has just sold out to the conservatives. If he were truly a Maverick, he would ditch the wingnuts running his campaign and move back toward the middle for the sake of true progress for our country.

GO VOTE!!! NO EXCUSES!!!

How anyone could vote for the Palin/McCain ticket is beyond me. He has led the most negative campaign in history and Palin is the most stupid VP pick ever. She even beats Quayle. I am sick of the two of them. Being a Republican all my life and we come up with these two idiots. It's the first time I voted Demcratic. If McCain would get in, we are all doomed. He is head of he PNAC and would start wars all over the place. NO MCCAIN/PALIN. REPUBLICANS WAKE UP.

VOTER FRAUD by ACORN is really going to cause some headaches in this election. With over 200,000 questionable votes in Ohio alone. If Obama doesn't win Ohio by at least 400,000 votes then the people of Ohio should be screaming VOTER FRAUD, and DEMAND an investigation.

The question is; Will the Buckeye state be forever remembered as the ACORN state?

I can't believe I'm still reading the "socialist bit"!!!!
For those who can't read the polls--there is a social revolution building. Wage earners share of the enormous profits which have been made by U.S. businesses has been in decline for over 20 years. Jobs which could have been salvaged with some force from Washingon--have been sold out wholesale to cheap foreign labor markets while two Presidents simply looked the other way.

Wages and quality of life are in decline--and Americans are voting for their own economic survival in this election.

We pray Obama will do what he says--and regain control of trade agreements with all foreign powers--ensure they are in the best interests of American business AND American workers.

BigBear: Go back to school. It takes 1.1 million people with $125 each to reach 150 million (a little less than the population of the city of Dallas, Texas--not including the suburbs). I suppose that he received contributions from more than 1.1 million last month. It is not impossibe at all.

As for background: Keating & Alaska Independence Party?

Quit grasping at straws. McCain can't even run his campaign, and yet you folks think that he would run the country better. Give me a break.

For those of you who think Obama is a socialist, how is unbridled capitalism working for you? Are your 401(k)'s still raking in the dough? Man, its too bad we didn't listen to W. and put our Social Security into the stock market. Oh, and by the way, we just instituted a $700 Billion bailout of key banks, a plan that McCain had to "suspend his campaign" to champion.

But enough about my views, GET OUT and VOTE!

Republicans are up to their dirty tricks. But, Obama has bought this election. It hasn't been with people's contributions, by those making less than $40,000/year. What experience does he have dealing with Putin's nuclear arms ambition? Will Obama, really, bring the troops home, or will he come up with a story to keep them there? Obama's running mate has said it that he lacks experience.

The End of America by Obama: You need to realize that the end of America has happened with Bush. He has destroyed America as we know it! Anyone believing that McCain will offer anything else other than what we have had for the last 8 years is living in serious denial. McCain will continue the destruction, even more severely, that Bush started 8 years ago!

In these uncertain times people want a stable and strong leader. Only Barack Obama has displayed those traits in this contest.

Obama has laid out a detailed economic policy and the brilliant conduct of his campaign shows he and his team are capable of executing this policy. Johnnie McCain blew through $26 million before the primaries and didn't even know where it all went. That's why he had to nearly shut down his campaign last August. This shows that even if Johnnie had a coherent economic policy he wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Obama has been steady at the helm while Johnnie has been all over the place.

It is so strange that people get so upset about Obama "spreading the wealth". He wants to give a tax break to those of us who have a TAXABLE income of less than a quarter of a million dollars, and so many people are upset. What about multi billion dollar corporations that currently pay NO TAXES? I think they can stand to pay a small percent for once! John McCain is laughable when he claims he is a friend to the taxpayer. Aside from being a Keating 5 senator he was a champion of deregulation for years. Now even Greenspan acknowledges that was a huge mistake. Unfortunately you will see two Americas here. One that can take the time to read the facts and one that listens to lies and spin from a campaign so desperate to win they don't even know what their policies will be. You can't attack the economy with slurs if you win the white house. Yell all you want, it's not going to help you there.

McCAIN’S LAST DESPERATE PLEA

JOHN McCAIN THINKS THAT THE ONLY REASON WE SHOULD VOTE FOR HIM is fear of one party rule. We should forget in this stroke of fear-mongering, his ineptitude, temperament, anger, incompetence, wrong ideas for the time, bellicose attitude, Palin's unfitness to be President should anything happen to him, his mostly upper-crust concern for the rich, his strong alliance for the Bush policies that brought us into this economic mess, and more! He is dreaming in technicolor! What Democrats need is a strong mandate that will break the gridlock in Washington. Then they can implement a true agenda for change. Then as well, under a possible Obama Presidency, the United States can begin to rebuild its sullied image abroad under Bush. Say no to McCain!

Cannot imagine how people can choose McCain...He seems to share common philosphy with Bush. Always ready to "fight" than to build. Are voters so dumb that they choose unemployment and poor economic future over new change?. More tax relief to rich seem to be republicans way of building the economy - that has rewarded wall street destroying pension wealth for retirees..

With republicans we will be locked in a 100 year war in Iraq wasting our present (we have lost 8 years of that already),our future, our children's future apart from losing trillions of dollars...

That's the problem with most republican supporters: ignorance/backwardness, bigotry, hatred, racism etc. etc. You all need to be enlightened. Another sad thing is that most of you call yourselves Christians. REALLY... You think you are Christ-like. I dont think so, and most people dont either. Don't "act" all smart and say you can give 50 different examples of why you're voting for Obama without bringing up McCain's name, and then not list anything. Lame argument dude. Wanna know why I'm voting for McCain? Simple answer...experience level. I'm in my 4th year with a company that employs 50K people, does that qualify me to be the next CEO? Do I have all the experience in ALL facets of my company in my 4th year? Can you honestly say that Obama has the same experience level as McCain? Foreign policy? National security matters? Domestic matters? You and the other liberal Dems may not like McCain or Palin, maybe some do, no one with a working brain can ever argue who has the experience level for the very top job in this country. Taxes, economy, healthcare, the wars....all that aside, the only people in this election qualified to be POTUS are John McCain and Joe Biden. The only problem for the Dems is Biden isn't on the top of your ticket. EXPERIENCE MATTERS! John McCain for President.

Taxes, economy, healthcare, the wars....all that aside, the only people in this election qualified to be POTUS are John McCain and Joe Biden. The only problem for the Dems is Biden isn't on the top of your ticket. EXPERIENCE MATTERS! John McCain for President.

Pat - do you really believe that Michelle and Barack Obama want nothing more for this country than black supremacy? It's sad that there are still people like you out there who will hold us back because of these beliefs.

I live in Michigan which is in the worst shape financially of any state. We never came out of the previous downturn. McCain decided 3 or more weeks ago to not campaign actively in this state anymore. Now, I can understand that he had X amount of resources and needed to decide where to spend them, but Michigan turned solidly blue after he did that. It's almost like he told the residents of the Great Lakes state I've got more important things to do.

I disagree with John McCain's statement that the Obama "Health Plan", which is also Hilary Clinton's health plan, that will give every American the same health coverage that members of congress has is not good for America, or American small business. Well, I work for the U S Postal service and I do have the same health plan that covers the members of congress!! It is called the FEHB - Federal Employees Health Benefit Plan. I pay $42.00 a month for health coverage and $10.00 a month for dental coverage. That is a total of $52.00 dollars a month for health and dental coverage!!!!!!! Of course my employer, does subsidise my insurance, but the way I look at it, "if I'm going to pay taxes - at least I have something to show for it. Like health coverage, good roads, good schools and law enforcement." Also, by the way having had a couple of "small businesses" myself there is a couple of things that can be "written off" on your taxes such as having to pay for health coverage for your employees. Just get yourself a good accountant who knows the tax laws. Mc Cain is just not realizing the reality of what is going on with the average "Joe" on the street. Taxes or not, the country has to get out of this mess that the financial industries and not to mention the borrowers created. I think that Obama is the man to do it.

Economies do well in war years. McCain and Palin are much more likely to initiate a war or two, less likely to get sidetracked by negotiations, and will extend the wars we are in. Therefore if you want the economy to improve, you must vote for M&P. And if you're out of a job, join the Army, it needs you.

GARY HUSH!!! YOUR CAPS LOCK IS ON, BTW!!!

I see you've bought the Bush "kept us safe" for years, bit...I know I feel warm and fuzzy inside and thank Bush everytime I have to take my shoes off in an airport...

Thanks Gary and Bush!

:thumbs down:

What a scaredy cat. Bush hasn't done anything but count his money in the White House. Painfully, after eight years of counting...he is still only on 50. No more C students and underachievers!!

Women have now rejected 3 different women for National office. They are from different parties and have vastly different political views, So it has nothing to do with politics. The three are Geraldine Ferraro, Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. Why?

Obviously women understand themselves and their emotions; and knowing exactly who and what they are, they are terrified to put someone like themselves in the White House. It's sad.
