McCain: Don’t buy reports of GOP ticket friction
HERSHEY, Pa. (CNN) – John McCain unofficially declared this fair city a diva-free zone Tuesday.
In his first joint rally with running mate Sarah Palin since tension between their aides spilled into public view, McCain opened his remarks by declaring, “By the way, when two mavericks get together, you don’t agree on everything – but that’s fun!”
McCain has previously made similar comments at rallies about how he and Palin do not agree on everything, such as drilling for oil and gas in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (McCain opposes, Palin supports).
But this time the comment had particular resonance with a large crowd here in Pennsylvania, coming just days after a McCain adviser privately charged to CNN that Palin is a “diva” who’s not staying on-message, while Palin advisers fired back that McCain aides botched her rollout to the American people.

Funny, I went to the Palin rally today and there were signs ALREADY MADE UP with things like "John the Chocolate Maker" and "Judy the Waitress" and they were giving them out to have people hold them.
Isn't that kind of FAKE? I mean, I KNOW Joe the Plumber isn't a licensed plumber... but how many of those other references she spoke of were fake, too?

Nice try John, it is actually worse than what is being reported. That is what happen when you don't know a person and did not vet your number 2. Besides folk from your own camp have already confessed. John McCain should go ahead and endorse Barack Obama and go into permanent retirement. We love you John, but I think you have given about all you have left to give!

I don't believe for one minute that a McCain Palin administration would work smoothly, or that they would work together for the benefit of the American people.

Well I agree that the so-called friction is a bunch of hype and fabrication of the media trying to increase ratings. Palin if anything is just trying to stir the pot and get the GOP base to stay awake .

One thing that noone ever mentions is that independent studies have shown that McCains economic plan will result in an increase in the national debt larger than Obama's, fiscal responsibility my butt. More money less value, kinda reminds one of George Bush.
I absolutely believe their is friction between the two of them plus their staffs. It is obvious she is positioning herself for 2012 in the event the McCain/Palin ticket goes down to defeat.
