McCain: Don’t buy reports of GOP ticket friction

McCain and Palin rallied together today in Pennsylvania.

McCain and Palin rallied together today in Pennsylvania.

HERSHEY, Pa. (CNN) – John McCain unofficially declared this fair city a diva-free zone Tuesday.

In his first joint rally with running mate Sarah Palin since tension between their aides spilled into public view, McCain opened his remarks by declaring, “By the way, when two mavericks get together, you don’t agree on everything – but that’s fun!”

McCain has previously made similar comments at rallies about how he and Palin do not agree on everything, such as drilling for oil and gas in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (McCain opposes, Palin supports).
But this time the comment had particular resonance with a large crowd here in Pennsylvania, coming just days after a McCain adviser privately charged to CNN that Palin is a “diva” who’s not staying on-message, while Palin advisers fired back that McCain aides botched her rollout to the American people.

Obama is already bringing this country back together, black – white, young and old, and particularly, Independents and even some republicans.

Sarah, John, Ted, step back and watch a REAL leader take the riegns of this country.

And the doubters, don't be fooled by this socialist nonsense. If McCain and Palin were held to the very same standard that they levy the socialism charge on, they would be considered facist.

Not that I think they are, but double standards are never pretty.

Since John McCain says he puts "Country First", I just cannot understand how he can select someone as unqualified as Sarah Palin to be his VP.
That is hardly putting the country first.

Hey "Welcome to the Obama show".

Just answer one simple question. Explain to us why Obama has always attracted highly educated voters and struggle with low-information voters? If you have an answer for that, please share it with us. If you don't, then please spare us of your stupid comments.

You Better Believe There Is Friction In The Mccain Camp! The Policy Of Divide And Concur Applies To You To Mccain! Your Ticket Is Divided And Will Be Concurred!

Heavens, no – there's no friction in the GOP. Everything's just hunky dory.

McCain is down in the polls, he has to defend the red states, while Obama is outspending him into a drunken stupor.

The GOP house and senate members are peeing in their pants, and Palin is about to jump ship, preparing herself for 2012.

But at least there's no friction!

    Keep smiling Governor Palin! 🙂

Ridicule only works if the desired angry reaction to it occurs!

When Sarah Palin just laughs and ignores it, she turns a negative into a positive by revealing the perpetrators as mean and thuggish!

Actually, Governor Palin has more experience than Obama, and she has accomplished a great deal in her time as a servant leader!

Most importantly, Sarah Palin is an authentic reformer who communicates with people right where they are and she walks the talk!

Obama can claim neither experience nor accomplishments, and he masquerades as an angel of light!

Obama's converts see him as a demi-god but mainstream America sees him as an emerging demagogue! 😦

what realy upsets me is how mccain thinks the american people are stupid. look people if you don't make over 250,000 a year you will pay no more tax than you do now. If you make over that amount it will go up 3% thats all- now on the spead the wealth around, were has mccain been every since they started your state aid programs, were do you think the money has come from for years and years- it comes from the tax we pay? daaa. mccain only took palin as a running mate because he seen how good clinton did the the lady voters.mc cains taking everything and turning it around and upside down looking for somthing to cling to- look what the old ideas and polititics have gotten us into- oboma will bring new ideas.mc cains health care sucks- the 600.00 i pay monthly i pay on my wife and kids with his program will will have to pay income tax now it none taxable – he will give me a 5,000 tax brake at the end of the year big deal that don't give me more coverage for less money ? sorry but oboma has my vote hands down. people wake up .

“By the way, when two mavericks get together, you don’t agree on everything – but that’s fun!”

love the quote. how bizarre. what a string of nonsense. it is one thing to constructively critique one another, it is a completely different animal to have advisers lobbing insults.
    but i guess that mccain's idea of fun . . .

If McCain can't control Palin, & Palin can't control anything, THEN HOW IN HECK WILL THEY CONTROL THE WHITE HOUSE? They can't, won't do anything right; just like they have ran their campaign; ALL MESSED UP!

Aren't opposing views a good thing according to Obama… one of his reasons for choosing Biden…" I want someone who won't always agree with me…. McCain and Palin are an excellent example of what we need in the Whitehouse… we don't need anymore of Bush's crony nepotistic yes men…. and we certainly don't need a president with conflicting interests….Obama's campaign symbol which exactly matches Islamic prophecy saying that he (Obama) IS their annointed one... and also his recentl choice of attorney.. Joe Sandler.. who ALSO works for the group CAIR (council for American Islamic Relations) who has PROVEN ties to radical Islamists...google these two things.. and on youtube..." is Obama the fulfillment of Islamic Prophecy"...

With less than a week before the General election, McCain has no choice other than to stick with Palin. Maybe a good choice at the beginning but now it's going downhill.
