Perhaps the reason why these are all flipping from Obama to McCain is that no one is voting for McCain in the first place?

Everyone has to watch very closely - there have been numerous reports of this vote flipping. The republicans will (again) resort to any dirty trick to win.

We've seen a few reports about voting machine problems. Oddly, they all seem to be affecting Obama voters. It's almost as if someone is trying to get extra votes for McCain.

I hope the GOP don't steal this election again. Voter fraud is taking place already just like in 2000. But people are smart this time around, please make sure you check your selection before you submit it. Unbelieveable...... things like this happen in third world countries. I see the reason why Mcsame believe he'll win. Plans to steal the election like this is his birth right. No so fast McSame.

All this talk. It's action time. Have you voted? I voted today and it certainly feels good. Obama supportters please call, e-mail all the young voters you know and encourage them to take action because anything including weather, work schedule can stop them from voting.
I will rather have Bush re-elected than have Palin in power. She is a nightmare to any smart person out there. She is so divisive.
American is fighting for democracy in other countries and Palin is encouraging hatred and dividing cities and surburbs.
We seriously need diversity lesson in this country. Ignorance have caused some to believe that some born of American mother and Keyian father some how is an Arab, Irianian etc. It is a shame.
America should eradicate illitracy here before promoting education in other countries.

VOTE BY MAIL.... Ask your state legislature to bring it to your state. It's awesome!!

We've quietly been using this method statewide, for all elections, for more than 15 years now. We never have lines at the polls, controversey over counts, or technical problems on election day. You have a two week window to complete it and mail it in, so you can take your time if there are measures, etc, and read them carefully. Ballots are still secret, and our voter turnouts went up immediately after it was introduced.

I know that the repubs are trying very hard to steal this election, & smear Obama by any means. They really have shown me that they truly are very dirty politicians. This country will lose it's #1 ranking in the free world. You can't be king without friends by your side. From what I'm reading, most of the world think we're total idiots. McCain & big business will send this country backwards for a long time. Race is a major issue in this campaign. Obama had to raise & spend much more money because he would need it. Shame to say this, but if he was white, this race would be very boring because it would have been over a long time ago To those who truly love this country, I salute you. To those who think Sarah Palin is so pro America, you should read about her & her husband'saffiliation with the American Independence Party. That group was extremely ANTI-AMERICAN. There is video from meetings and their convention on YouTube. Wake up people, this woman wanted succession of Alaska from the US.

You know.....I am a believer that everything happens for a reason. Had not Dub-Ya, Katherine Harris, and the Grand OLD Party stole the election in 2000, we would not have the eloquent, smart, insightful, visionary named Barack HUSSEIN (yes, I said it all for all you yahoo, backwoods, straw chewing, hee-haw Republicans) Obama. The time for Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfield, and Republicans are over. ~55% of Americans and the rest of the THE WORLD are ready for a change and are anxious to see America take back it's rightful place as leaders of the free world.

Notice how when these machines mess up its ALWAYS switching it from Obama to McCain. This is the SAME as it was last election, I had to get on another machine because my machine kept switching my vote from Kerry to Bush.
This needs looked into CNN! This is not joke and has been going on for at least three elections!

When I hear reports of the opposite happening, a vote for McCain yields a vote for Obama, I won't be any less suspicious that all of these machines are just calibrated wrong. What's it been, 3 stories now where Obama votes go to McCain or a third party?

Friends,

Research the company quoted on this report and Diebold voting machines on Wikioedia and learn the degree of compromise we have in our free and fair electoral process.

This is what the democrats need to worried about right now.

Vote by paper if you can and ensure NOBODY tampers with machine where you vote.

Gerda,

I feel sorry for you. YPM deceives voters into signing petitions and then re registers them as Republicans. They are paid $5 for every Republican registration by Steve Poisner who is the co chair or McCain's campaign in Californa. A

The RNC and McCain's campaign paid $175,000 to Lincoln Strategies for registering voters...The head of Lincoln is Nathan Spruill who has torn up democratic registration forms and only submitted Republican ones. He is also known for slamming just like YPM.

On Saturday October 18, the head of YPM, Mark Jacoby was arrested in California for voter registration fraud. He was trying to register to vote in California even though he didn't live there. Since his arrest have you heard the McCain campaign mention ACORN??? No......I wonder why. He broke state laws....read about it.

Hey Proud Veteran,

If skinhead McCain wins this election, I will know for sure that our votes do not count. So, why bother to vote at all. If the machines have hair triggers, they need to throw them out. When Palin goes to Alaska she need to stay there, we do not need her here.

Anyone who asks "why is it never a republican vote that gets switched to a Dem"

BECAUSE IF IT WAS THE GOP WOULD RAISE THE DEAD WITH THEIR COMPLAINING. Look at their track record:

-Perpetuated the biggest electoral fraud since 1876 in 2000 by suing to have the recount stopped (i.e. legitimate votes counted) and then bussing their supporters to intimidate election officials. These same criminals have the nerve to complain about ACORN?

-Every rethuglican pundit from here to China was laughing at Hillary showing emotion claiming she wasnt fit to play with the boys. Now people are sexist for claiming some worthless community college reject cant be president? HUH?

-Bang on and on about the experience Barack Obama lacks and then put forth the same joke of a bimbo as your VEEP. You cant have it both ways, fools

the blue wave is coming, so you better find high ground and throw these lunatics out of your party before they destroy us all. Sarah Palin with the nuclear codes? LOL

It's very lonely in Texas being a Democrat. But I have finally voted this past week and I cannot wait till we finally have Obama/Biden in office. I am so tired of the "Closed Minded" Republican Texans down here. Maybe someday, Texans will open their eyes.

This is why I'm choosing not to vote early. On November 4 in Williamson County, Texas, I'll be able to use a paper ballot. It'll be a LONG wait, but I have to do it.

Too bad the rest of the states don't vote like Oregon. Here we receive a ballot in the mail approximately 2 weeks before Nov. 4th. In the privacy of our home, we can sit down and vote by filling in a circle next to the name or measure we want to vote for with pen or pencil. We can then return it by mail or drop it off at one of the many polling places. No standing in lines for hours in the rain or cold, no hurrying to vote so the next person can get in the door; no computerized machines that fail or register the vote wrong, no hanging chads. Why don't more states do it like we do. It's the best.

I wasn't in the booth with this woman obviously but as someone who has worked with touch screens for years as a bartender let me give you conspiracy nuts a little insight about how they work...

Depending on the height of the person who configured the settings of the screen someone of a few inches taller or shorter can hit what they think is one button and the machine may very well register a different item. Since I am normally the tallest person in what ever bar I happen to be working I always have my a co-worker configure the screen when it become out of "whack" which basically can happen after a few thousand or even as few as a few hundred touches.

I'd say 9 times out of a 10 if I have a error on my ring it is because the configuration on the screen isn't set right from use.

Anyhow this is just another example of why you should always verify the vote before you make it final.

Unfortunately to get a fair shake in Texas may be impossible. The state is corrupt to the bone although there is some good people there. The neo cons will not win this election though. Obama is to organized and has people in place in the key states we need to win. In addition there are democrat governors in place that used to be red like Ohio. They can't steal this one we as a party are ready. Sorry Texas, your time will come. We as a people have just got to keep pushing in these red states to get the right wingers out of office.

Hey proud and honest veteran...think about what you're saying. Typical military attitude. Just one question...who wrote the new GI Bill that McCain voted against? Oh...that's right...Senator Jim Webb (D) - Va. Yeah....democrats are bad for the military. I'm tired of hearing that. And I'm a proud Democrat and veteran (10 yrs and counting) myself.

Gerda,

YPM and Lincoln Strategies Group. Read about them and then and their ties to McCain and then rethink your comment.

"Republicans are dirty politicans and will do anything to keep control."

nelda, you might want to read up on Obama's modus operandi when it comes to elections. Getting petitions thrown out, lying about accepting public financing, supporting voter fraud, buying votes, etc.

Three words: pot, kettle, black

Debbie,

You are a moron. Texas is one the strongest states in the union right now. Our economy is growing. 4 of the top 6 job markets in the country are in Texas: Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston. Austin and San Antonio are the top two cities in the country in terms of how far your dollar goes. No state taxes, low unemployment. Your comments show your ignorance or stupidity...I don't know which it is.
