YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNN) - Mandatory stops on the GOP campaign trail this year: Pennsylvania. Florida. Saturday Night Live.

Two weeks after running mate Sarah Palin made an appearance on the late-night comedy show, a McCain campaign aide tells CNN that the Republican presidential nominee will appear on the NBC program tomorrow night.

The Arizona senator has appeared on the show several times over the years.

McCain's most memorable appearance on the long running show was in October 2002, when he hosted the program for a night: In a spoof commercial hawking an album called "McCain Sings Streisand," sang several of the Democratic loyalist's songs.

That skit where McCain announces the stupid guy pretending to be a plumber is at the raly but he is not there. That was too funny and then McCain says "you're all Joe the plumber" Wow that was really far fetched and not at all realistic but I guess that's what made it funny. Great job SNL.

It's sad that McCain's mental decline is taking place on a world stage, and Palin always was a joke.

Finally, a joke that isn't cruel. He's cruel – he's a hypocrit, liar, fear-monger, hate-monger, and many other evil things.

Would you want your children to tell the tall tales this man does? Or would punishment be in store for them.

McCain wants his own war in Iran. That's all he wants.

  11. Is that an iceberg I see?

That would make sense since McCain and Palin's campaign has been ONE BIG JOK E! Reminds me of the captain in the movie Titanic, asking for the band to play on as the waters rise ever higher around him Still better for McCain to laugh rather cry in the final days of his failed bid for the presidency I guess.

Is SNL the new place for desperate candidates? He'd have better luck with a "Colbert bump".

McCain is too old to be president! I have great respect for the man, but i do think his age is a valid issue.
Especially because his running mate Palin terrifies me! If she becomes president the USA would fall apart! And Americas already poor global reputation will be shattered!!

Imagine Sarah Palin dealing with the Iraq war..... the economic crisis she knows nothing about..... What if USA is attacked again while she is in charge. That is Scary!

McSAME and his PA'IN is "HEAD STRONG AND DEAD WRONG"!!! That is why they are losing.... Case in POINT!!! If they weren't so NASTY and DIRTY, they nay have had a chance.

McSAME made one of the MOST important decisions he could make when he picked his VP!!! He FAILED!!! So how would he run the White House? The same choices will be made that was in his mind when he choose PA'IN. SNL CANNOT HELP HIM!!!

OBAMAN / BIDEN – 4-DAYS LEFT TO VICTORY!!!! YES WE CAN!!!

I really wish he wouldn't. McCain and Palin are ruining the very funny roll that SNL was on. Being on SNL will not change the race.

Yeah – that's a good reason to vote for him, because he appears on SNL, not!. Maybe part of the skit could be him actually talking about issues. What a transparent ploy to gain the interest of the young voters. Or is it damage control for what's left of his political career?

He must have a death wish.

SNL did a number on Palin, and now the top of th ticket is lining up for more of the same.

    Is this a surrender?

Yeah, because THAT will convince people to vote for him and help him get elected where all his Obama-bashing failed.

When in doubt and trying to get elected and sleeze tactics fail... use comedy and send them laughing to the polls, right McCain?

It's too bad our nation's voters will be laughing at you and your sleazy campaign as they're leaving the polls come Tuesday as they vote Obama our next POTUS.

WAKE UP, AMERICA!! VOTE SMART... NOT SENILE!!!
