McCain last appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2002.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (CNN) - Mandatory stops on the GOP campaign trail this year: Pennsylvania. Florida. Saturday Night Live.

Two weeks after running mate Sarah Palin made an appearance on the late-night comedy show, a McCain campaign aide tells CNN that the Republican presidential nominee will appear on the NBC program tomorrow night.

The Arizona senator has appeared on the show several times over the years.

McCain's most memorable appearance on the long running show was in October 2002, when he hosted the program for a night: In a spoof commercial hawking an album called "McCain Sings Streisand," sang several of the Democratic loyalist's songs.

    To Mn voter:

Your rant is ignorant and foolish. I could use a few more choice words to describe the childish tone of your post but CNN probably wouldn't include this post if I did. What an idiot.

Your argument is not only incoherent but it is also gramattically incorrect.

My vote is NOT FOR SALE – AT ANY PRICE.

But if yours is, here's some FACTS to all who love the Obama Tax Plan.

I went to his website and used the "savings calculator". Some quick numbers for you…

My wife and I combined make about 100K. We no longer have dependents, and we have a mortgage. Popped those numbers into his calculator – I save $1800.

So let's see… averaged out, me and my wife each get a raise of 42 cents an hour.

    YIPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

So if my vote was for sale… which IT IS NOT… we'd get an extra Domino's pizza (no toppings) every week!

Do the math people. What would you rather have – a cheese pizza or your job?
    ------------------------------–
Did you check to see how much you'd receive under McCain?????? I bet you didn't. You'd receive nothing because the tax cuts would go to the top 1%. Stop posting garbage.

To the Mn voter, have you looked in the mirror? At least Michelle Obama does not have to have a fake tan, fake boos and plastic surgery to look good. I bet your wife is just like Sarah Palin ALL FAKE!!

  5. Pro McCain

I love how there are next to no comments from those who are Pro-McCain because of the libral media. I feel like we're in Russia with the media censoring those who are not voting the way they want us to and Obama is going to bring Communism with his Marxism ideas. He should NOT play Robin Hood, guess I'll not work except flipping burgers so I can collect money from you hard-working rich folks.

Mr McCain seems so desperate in his desire to be president, that he has shifted his position more since 2000 than a greased pig. He lies, abandons a wife of 15yrs, after she is no longer the swimsuit model due to a horrify auto crash, and in 1 month marry a rich heiress, hook up with Keating, mad at Bush after 2000, best friends with Bush 90% of the time, now he don't know Bush in 2008. Opportunist and self interest is what comes to mind when i view his voting record on policy. loves corporations, hates education, healthcare, loves war and pretty women 28 yrs his junior watch out Cindythe maverick might be shifting again!

  11. President Barack Obama

People C'mon..... This is not American Idol. There is NO COMPARISON between the candidates.
One campaign relies on Lies, Gimmicks & Politics of FEAR & Division..
The other campaign speaks of Forward Moving Ideas, Innovation, Unity , and Policies that benefit Everyone.
You have had 8 years to to think about your choice.... Don't be FOOLISH AGAIN!!!!!
Imagine what this country would be like with 4 MORE YEARS of Job Loss, Foreclosure, War, High Crime Rates, Poor Foreign Relations.

    THE CHOICE IS CLEAR.....................................................

    Barack your Vote08!!!

What's even more insulting Steve is that SNL continues to show and seemingly push McCain and Palin. I will no longer watch that program. If enough people boycotted them they would know it was wrong to even "LOOK" as if they were taking sides. Yes it's enjoyable to watch them ake fun of candidates but to have them on the show and brought to light so much is sickening. BOYCOTT SNL AND SEND THEM YOUR EMAILS LETTING THEM KNOW YOU ARE NOT HAPPY!

To all of you McCain bashers, you are disrespectful morons. Obama has you drinking his koolaid, and since most of you are probably unemployed, uneducated drunks, you are enjoying it.

Here is an idea. Get a life, get a job, and stop depending on the government to save you from every stupid mistake you've made.

I'm just glad that on Nov. 4, half of you supporting Obama will have too bad of a hangover or will be too lazy to vote.

For you obama writers writing all the insults about MCCain and Palin here are some for you. Mrs. obama is to ugly to be first lady. Her mother had to tie a pork chop around her neck so the dog would play with her. If she traveled around the world she's so ugly she would scare the other leaders so bad they would run and hide. Iran would start a war with us just to get rid of her. She is just as weird as her husband.
    ----------------------
    Ha ha, funny...NOT!

What the heck does that have to do with anything? Mrs. Obama isn't entering a beauty contest...and by the way she still wins because beauty isn't just a pretty face and body. Those contests also judge intelligence and brains. Gov. Palin can't even answer a question. And she isn't running against Gov. Palin anyway. The fact that you're even comparing her to either McCain or Palin on looks is very telling about what you think about your candidates on their real qualifications. How idiotic are you? Unbelievable. If you want to vote for McCain and Palin for more dumb reasons like this, have at it.

And by the way, she would make a better President than McCain and Palin combined, just like her husband. Unbelievable.

Are you a 2nd grader? You sound so childish, only a very immature child would call another person ugly or say something about a person mother. Grown ups does not talk this way.

Will he revisit the role of the "stalker" as he did years back?

I will certainly tune into see this Must See event. Either way, the die is cast and McPalin characters without real character will go into the dust bin with the rest of the sleazos who thought that they could lead a nation with the support of the fringe only.

And they will not have learned anything. The new GOP will either rebuild so that some of us might come back, or be reduced to the "limbaugh" party (Limbaugh et all call moderates and indie voters the "liberals in waiting) in which case they can angrily feel marginalized by the left when it was THEM who marginalized themselves, putting their narrow interests above the interests of the majority of Americans.

These people are obviously desperate! Palin's appearance on CNN this morning, with her pregnant daughter holding her Down's syndrome baby brother dressed in a Dumbo suit is just one more example of how much they don't get it. And why aren't those kids in school anyway? I doubt they're getting any smarter following her around the country.

Much has been made of what the world will do after the election to test the new president. The world is watching now. Barack has shown himself to be steady, calm, decisive, and willing to listen to other people's ideas. John McCain has shown quite the opposite. The world is depending on American's to elect a world leader. Not a petty, selfish, angry, divisive man; whose campaign has focused on turning American against American.

worried about getting left behind in coverage aren't you John?

Obama puts out a 30 minute ad on major networks. You get Larry King. Obama gets a spot on the Daily Show. You get a bit role on SNL.

Maybe you should spend more time in your own home state since you are slipping in the polls there Johnny.

McCain still has not uttered a word of intelleigent speak on what his plan is for the economy. "Cut taxes and hope for the best" just doesn't work. It may have worked if we weren't in such huge debt but we are. If by chance the wall street welfare program works what will have happened to medicare and social security by then.

McCain has zero plan but he is good at lies and promoting false negative attacks. Age wasn't a factor in my decision for this election but when he picked a pom pom girl for VP now age is a factor. McCain is simply a bad cjhoice no matter how you look at it with intelligent eyes. I am glad to see that the eductaed of Arizona have seen enough.

    Go Obama
