May be it is time for McCain to concede the election and become a democrat. After the election he can put the blame on Palin and the GOP conservative base and strategist for costing him the election. Palin is his biggest mistake.

Yes, the polls were also indicating victory for Gore and Kerry.....the difference is that this year, the Democrats will not allow votes to be stolen from them as in years past.

Republicans: greatest redistributors: they took my vote in 2000 and 2004 and gave it to someone else.

Obama Biden '08!!!

For those that are supporting McCain explain this to me?
1.	How can a single person afford health care insurance with 2,500.00 income tax credits and a family of 4 with 5,000 income tax credit?
2.	Would that cause working people to have high co-pay and if you keep your insurance on your job, it is going to be taxed. So in real turns he will not be giving you nothing, you just be paying it back when your job insurance is taxed.
3.	How can you grow an economy by freezing spending, with high debt on the books and jobs are being lost?
Will McCain supporters please response?

Hmm. Right. That's just what the media wants us to believe, so people won't vote because they've been told it's too late, that it doesn't matter. Idiots. The media should shut up.

For McCain to win he only needs to do four things:

1. Replace Palin with C. Rice.

2. Go on National TV and admit his negative campaign was wrong for the country and wrong for the Republican party.

3. Go ahead and copy the rest of Obama's programs as his own, not just the ones he has already stolen and claimed.

4. Visit every state not looking to go staunchly Red already and lay out real programs instead of just telling us he has ideas and he will tell us about them after the election.

In reality, he will still lose the election, but he will at least appear to have some trace of dignity and self-pride. Something sadly lacking in his campaign this year.

A vote can be a decision made to choose ones desire or hopes. But a vote to choose a man and I quote "A MAN" not a god or supernatural figure, should be evaluated in all honesty and peace at heart and... with love, respect, and well wishes for everyhuman being and not just the wealthy ones. This is a new day and a new time.God bless Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain,But as I said,Vote for Change, not a repitition of failure. I think barack obama is the man for that.... change that is!

It matters not who runs, it matters who wins. I just hope that America wins in the end. Neither candidate has a plan that will be worth 5 cents after January 20th anyway. The fact of the matter is that if Congress becomes Democratic majorities, then the country will be in for SOME change. If McCain holds out and becomes president then their will be some vetoes (remember he votes WITH Dems too), but if Obama wins he will just rubber stamp things. I am not sure that is quite what we want in a leader. I do feel however, that McCain does NOT have the temperment to be an effective leader. Obama does so that is why I will vote for him.

Their all in line for the President CUP, 3 year old and upward.10 furlong the distance. Even money on Barak Obama, 2 to1 on Biden, 15 to 1 on the lone Filly Palin and 25 to 1 on the aging McCain.

McCain acting up in the starting gate but settle down.......Their off and the filly Palin break like a bullet from the gate and is showing up a length in front of Joe Biden with Barak Obama under tight rein and traveing so sweet with McCain at the back.

And down the straight they come and the lone filly is under pressure, Barak Obama hits the front, Joe is closing fast on the outside, McCain is trying desperate to close the gap...but all in vain. Obama take the President cup. Second to Joe Biden and a tired looking McCain just edging out Palin for third who was trying to rally back.

It would make it easier for the Repugnantans if McCain won. The would just have to turn that W upside down. Shame on all of you that fall into the same old cycle of fear that Mcpublicans fill your brains with.

I am very afraid. Afraid that if McCain gets into office that I will lose my house in the next two years. My job, my car. My son will be in Iraq for his THIRD tour of duty in the never ending war. Just as bad. Caribou Barbie stands a good chance of being president within this term. That should scare the living bejesus out of you.

Don't worry though. The rich will get richer the schools will get poorer, your kids will get dumber. We will drill baby drill our way to having the most polluted waters in the world. We will never "win" in Iraq because we will never LEAVE Iraq. Dont worry though. He has a plan. He wont tell us what it is but he has one. Sounds a lot like dubblya. Keep on dreaming that he is telling you the truth.

If you believe these polls then you are either a fool or a Democrat.
If we left it to the polls there would be no need to vote. Obama would have been declared the winner already.....just as Gore and Kerry were ........

McCain and Palin always say I know a way, I can fix, I can move us out of this ditch

We don't believe it, because they have showed that they are capable of doing one thing,, straight lying,,,,

Lying about records,,, lying about policies,,, lying about abilities,,, they even lie about honesty and integrity

Americans have eyes and ears,,, Independents Republican and Democrats all have beared witness to their inability to provide specific facts or policies that are different than the last 8 years,,,

climate change to increase, inflation to spike, economy to continue to contract, deregulation to continue, increased homelessness, increased unemployment, tax breaks to the wealthy to continue, more outsourcing, ineffective govt., programs to continue,,, WAR to continue,,,,and American production possibility potential will continue to erode

Increased crime, more poverty and global despair will accompany a vote for McCain

To the undecided's jot down the objective qualities of the two candidates side by side,, see who's policies are better for you, your loved ones and the world as a whole

on top of all that McCain will devide this country,,, We are so close to unity,,, a United States,, land of the free and home of the brave

God bless Obama 08
God Bless this wonderful country

I am sick to death of all of your negative comments. While I may not agree with everything that has happened the past eight years I have to at least give credit where it is due. How many of you making comments here are running for office and trying to make our country a better place? How many of you not even a year into the presidency could have taken on the shock of terrorism on American soil? How many of you could have foreseen the economy coming to what it is today. That ball started rolling back in the Clinton days.

What was that? None of you!

I just love how every poll (even the ones who have always alway always been accurate for decades) are all wrong this year and are skewed by a left wing bias, yet every Repuke in the world believes the Fox news polls. Fox news in my opinion is a state run news channel. But of course to the right wingers its all fair and balanced. Its funny the amount of denial that is going on in the right wing right now.

The Republicans have polluted our Nation with their fear-hate-lies-and-divisions for so long, that we have forgotten what it is like to live in a Nation where EVERYONE is valued and respected, regardless of their political views!

McCain/Palin/Republicans went WRONG when they decided to LIE. Every ad, every speech ......... a lie!

AMERICA REJECTS THE POLITICS OF HATE,LIES,FEAR & DIVISION!

I just want this election to be over. It is so visible that the Republicans are so out of ideas. The candidate who runs the best campaign shows that he is best suited to run the country should win. I just need my government to be smarter than me, and be focused on the isses at hand. I voted for Obama, on the hope he will bring some common sense to the way policy is rolled out in America.

to "A Patel": Not sure what you were trying to say, but, a blind man can see that Obama/Biden is the only choice making any sense in the 21st century.

McCain is the wrong choice for America right now. Simple as that.

We need real democracy, not democracy at the point of a gun. We need diplomacy with those who our friends and our enemies. We need military might to be the last resort, not the first consideration.

Sorry John, You can't use the legacy of your father and grandfather to win this one.

@Vote Early/Vote Obama: I wish NEBRASKA would go blue, but most people in this state only know "GO BIG RED", so taking 1 or 2 wouldn't be a bad deal.

OHIO: Don't let the nation think your all like Joe the Plumber. We know your smarter than that!!!

It can't be, because they are going to win. Just ask any of them...they are predicting a big win. They've got us right where they want us. They are mean people who deserve to be sent back under the rocks they crawled out from.

Someon better send McCain and camp LaGoons this memo because they are still claiming that they will turn things around. They are sounding almost cocky instead of just confidence. Are they planning on STEALING this election like they stole 2000???????

Exactly what does McCain mean when he says they will win??? There aren't too many ways to break down the meaning of this is it and I'm not Palin so I get what he is saying LOUD AND CLEAR!!!

McCain's podium banner wants to make us believe that he places "Country First."His selection of Palin for VP, on the chance that this ploy might gain more female votes than it would lose, revealed that "Country First" McCain's ambition trumps any dedication that he has to this country. For the possibility of a modest personal benefit he put this country in great peril.

Voters would do well to focus on comparing the measureable financial records of the presidents of each party rather than on the claims of candidates. At the national level, the Gross National Product has grown at a 69% higher average annual rate under Democratic presidents than under Republican presidents. Over a forty year period, Democratic presidents provide a 30% higher GNP. That tranlates into a much richer society and far more employment.

In terms of personal finance, an investment of $136 per month in an S&P 500 Index Fund for forty years will provide over one million dollars for retirement at the long-term average rate of return under Democratic presidents. The very same investment will produces only $262,000 for retirement at the long-term average rate of return under Republican presidents. Can you afford to lose almost three-fourths of the money you need for retirement?

To focus again on the ignorance and lies of the mummy and the dummy and the plumber with humor like on SNL or Daily Show can relieve the pain we all feel that they are even allowed to speak. Rove, Rush, Mrs Dole, etc. are racist, divisive, and crude. These super republicans who claim so much love for their country are the very ones inflaming the open pustules of the KKK and other racists that want to kill because it's their right to be superior(???). That's not love in any dictionary. That sounds like hate to me...and non-God, non-Christian,non-love, non-community, and UN-AMERICAN... The Republican brand IS branded as racist, ignorant, backwards, superstitious, and fatally flawed.
I hope that kind of thinking is defeated on election day all over this country.
