Some how if this worthless POS Palin thinks she will get independent votes like me forget it. McCain control your pitbull (i.e., bixxx per her own admission that she is a pitbull) before she will lose all independent voters. You know what – I can never vote Republican if that's all the campaign is about;. Denigrating your opponent with terrorist label, socialist, communist simply because he is a black with an IQ that is greater than combined IQ of McCain and Palin. Palin/McCain showed the worst in human beings. I pray for the safety of Obama. That's interesting because recently I received a copy of Townhall ( a conservative magazine) that showed the same thing. Don't ask me why they sent me this free copy, I'm a registered Independent for Obama. The interesting part is on the cover is a huge picture of Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin but no mention or picture of John Mccain. They do realize if they win, Mccain will be president don't they?

A vote for Palin is a vote for McCain, so if she can stir up support for herself personally, whether or not it was intentionally separate from McCain himself, then the ends justify the means for the greater good of the McCain campaign. You could make the argument either way about Palin "going rogue" here: either she's garnering support for the Republican ticket that might not have been acheived by McCain himself, or she's trying to build up her own "fan base" for her future endeavors. Either way, it is somewhat strange...

Why does this surprise anyone? It's all about her..I previously lived in Alaska...what a pitiful place for anyone with a progressive attitude and desire. Sad to say if she is the best thing Alaska has to offer then that should tell you something. She is uneducated, backwards socially and does not shop in second hand stores. Hello, she is the governor, for now anyway. She should return to her land and go back to school get more education, raise her kids, run for Senator and then try this again. She's no more ready than her husband (doesn't he have a job? why is he at her side all the time?)

Why would this be a surprise? Clearly, she has the delusion that she is the presidential candidate and not McCain. This is dangerous and divisive within the Republican campaign when not only do they not have solid plans for America, but they have proven without a doubt that this attitude will carry over into an administration "if" McCain wins.

As a very liberal Democrat, I have the ability to understand and respect points of view different from my own. I even understand the Republican mindset. However, Sarah Palin truly frightens me, thought not nearly as much as the people who support her. That there are actually people, some of them intelligent, who believe she would be an effective VP (and possibly Pres.) is more than I can grasp. Even if you agree with her morals (pro-life, etc) you must be able to see that she simply cannot run the country. Not even marginally intelligently. It's not Dem v. Repub or even Liberal v. Conservative. She is simply NOT QUALIFIED. To the undecided voter: please! pay close attention to what can happen. Even tho it is unlikely, I am so frightened to death that somehow McCain/Palin are going to weasel their way in to the White House. Obama will let you think differently that he. Palin will make HER beliefs yours, like it or not.

WOW! That alone speaks volumes about the Republican candicacy that Gov Palin would allow those to remain.
