America desperately needs an Obama landslide in the election. There is no doubt Obama will win but the margin of victory is of utmost importance for America's future.

Every democratic country needs at least 2 legitimate political parties that represent ideas from left, middle and moderate.

If the more intelligent and moderate conservatives don't take the initiative to wrestle the Republican Party away from the extremists and kooks then the GOP is doomed and cease to exist as a rational choice in the near future.

When you see all the prominent Republicans crossing over to support Obama it is a clear indication there is something rotten in Denmark as the saying goes.

Well, in spite of the bias by the media/ap, the sleeziest campaign in the history of our country by Mccain/palin, the lies, distortions,
attacks, trying to divide our country and lack of leadership,
our guys Barack Obama and Joe Biden are leading.
We must keep up and spread the support. Everyone must
vote and we have to stay on top of the republicans once
again trying to steal this election with their tricks on trying
to suppress votes.

As everyone knows Cheney just came out yesterday to endorse McCain so why did he wait the Saturday before election to do this? One would think that McCain asked him to just like he have asked Bush to keep his distance.McCain is Bush and Cheney and it is very obvious.To agree with Bush on 90% of his polices come on do you think he have changed his stance now.We have waited 8 years for a change and I'll take my chances with Obama.He sounds sincere what he will do for the american people and what about our young people and the 4.000 dollars Obama is willing to give these young men to go to college if they are active helping the homelss ,serving in the military ect. but what does McCain say to this he says he can help any interest group that comes along.Wake up people Mccain is not thinking about us he only want to be president.I regret voting for Bush in 2004 but you better believe knowing how close McCain has been to Bush's polices there is no way in H*ll that I would cast my vote for him.And seniors out there don't be fooled by McCain because he will not do what he said he will do for medicare if that was the case he would have explain what he would do in details earlier but now he is pounding so hard on medicare because he want your vote.Don't be fooled into another 8 years of only the wealthy benefit it is our turn and Obama will change that.God bless us all and vote with your mind and heart

I hope that the RNC realizes that Sarah Palin is a disgrace to the Republican party and does not see her as a leader after this election. I am generally a conservative but I will cast my vote for Barack Obama in Indiana on Tuesday. Indiana will turn blue this year. I will change my status to Independent because I do not want any affiliation with Sarah Palin.

We have seen in almost all Republican candidates campaigns nothing but negativity, divisiveness, lying, and a back biting tone with total disrespect for the intelligence of American people. What are they running on? I have yet to figure this out. What has happened to them?

My choice is clear. I have seen Obama present himself with dignity, honesty, and respect. He has presented a clear view of where he would like to take this country…building from the ground up and bring respect and self-esteem back to the American people. Although it brings to light immigration issues that neither candidate chooses to discuss, this is NOT a deal breaker in voting for Barack nor does it affect his solid, and calm judgement.

McCain/Palin rallies simply sets us back at least 30 years. Obama reflects REAL change for the world. I voted early...there was a line but it only took about an hour or so. Please, if you have to wait until Tuesday, prepare to stay and do whatever is needed to vote. A McCain/Palin is not what the world needs right now.

CNN your poll or polls are a little bit higher than the national polls, (Rausmussen, etc.) The polls mentioned on air today showed a 2 point FL lead. (Obama) A 3 point VA lead (Obama) PA a 4 point (lead Obama) OH 4 point lead (Obama). All are within the margin of error.
Yes I forgot NV 4 point lead (Obama).

So anything can happen!!!

Don't forget that if they can get the numbers down to a few percentage points between McCain and Obama, they can pull it across the finish line by rigging the computerized voting machines. They can't do it if there is a 7 to 8 point difference but at 2 or 3 points, within the margin of error, or with the 'undecideds' being more than the difference between the two candidates, they can do it. That's why they keep saying their internal polls say it's closer. They can just say "See..polls are wrong."

Don't let them steal another election from us.

CNN I know you want a headline but a 1 point decrease does not indicate "tightening". It's a natural variation when you are averaging polls and is more than likely statistical noise. Get into the 3 point range and you might have something to talk about.

Beck, the military was polled, and it was overwhelmingly for John McCain. That is very revealing to me.

I'm just listening to the McCain spokesman lie about Obama and taxes. Suggesting that Obama is going to raise taxes on anyone making over $125,000/year. This is a lie.

Since President Obama has decided that Americans who do not want to pay more taxes are "selfish". Those Americans who were so generous with contributions to charities in the past are no longer contributing. These organizations are being told to go ask President Obama, he knows how to contribute your money better than the person who is making it. America has always been touted as one of the most giving countries in the world, however since the new president took over only the organization that is part of his agenda are now benefitting.

i don't understand why Obama has such a narrow lead in these key states. I understand it in normal times when Americans have the luxury for partisan politics BUT these are unusual times. With all the negatives of a McCain-Palin ticket and all the positives of an Obama-Biden ticket I think the polls should be stronger for Obama. With the history of voter irregularities,I would be very worried about the results on Tuesday. Most of us on the outside of America just scratch our heads ?????

Well, if McCain picks up one point a day, by Tuesday Obama is still the President and this country can put an end to the divisive, hateful campaign carried out by McCain and Palin. Then she can return to Alaska (if they still want her) and finally face the charges against her, and McCain can return to the Senate and actually work across the aisle to get some things accomplished for the good of the country instead of the good of McCain.
As for Joe, Sam, or whoever he is, he can fade back into the Toledo landscape. His 15 minutes as sidekick to McCain will be blessedly over, too.

It's quite possible McCain won some fans alst nght on SNL – he did a great job – but the ability to tell jokes is one thing ...whether it'll make any difference in the short-run is another matter.

Too often, the individual(s) who write(s) the headlines for the ticker do so in a manner that over-analyzes empirical data. A poll that moves a point or so in the course of a day or even a week is NOT a tightening. It is statistical noise. Why doesn't CNN get someone who knows SOMETHING about basic math and statistical probabilities to write/analyze? It doesn't take much more than a freshman college course.

While listening this morning to your poll numbers, why am I getting different numbers from your broadcast.You are stating McCain is neck and neck in some of these states and on the internet these numbers are quite different. If I am keeping a close watch on this, I am sure many Americans are also. Are you all catering to one side and trying to make the race seem equal ?. Is this fair reporting, sounds a little like FiX News.

If John McCain wins this election it will be a vindication for Bush and Cheney and everything they've done the past 4 years.

The entire world is depending on Americans to elect an educated and competent President on Tuesday. The choice made in this election affects everyone everywhere and 80% of the world is well aware of the adverse effects John McCain and his sidekick will have for everyone everywhere.
