America desperately needs an Obama landslide in the election. There is no doubt Obama will win but the margin of victory is of utmost importance for America's future.

Every democratic country needs at least 2 legitimate political parties that represent ideas from left, middle and moderate.

If the more intelligent and moderate conservatives don't take the initiative to wrestle the Republican Party away from the extremists and kooks then the GOP is doomed and cease to exist as a rational choice in the near future.

When you see all the prominent Republicans crossing over to support Obama it is a clear indication there is something rotten in Denmark as the saying goes.

Obama by a landslide 390 electoral votes in 08.

Well, in spite of the bias by the media/ap, the sleeziest campaign in the history of our country by Mccain/palin, the lies, distortions,
attacks, trying to divide our country and lack of leadership,
our guys Barack Obama and Joe Biden are leading.
We must keep up and spread the support. Everyone must
vote and we have to stay on top of the republicans once
again trying to steal this election with their tricks on trying
to suppress votes.
We still have barriers to overcome so don't let your
guard down.

As everyone knows Cheney just came out yesterday to endorse McCain so why did he wait the Saturday before election to do this? One would think that McCain asked him to just like he have asked Bush to keep his distance.McCain is Bush and Cheney and it is very obvious. To agree with Bush on 90% of his polices come on do you think he have changed his stance now.We have waited 8 years for a change and I'll take my chances with Obama. He sounds sincere what he will do for the american people and what about our young people and the 4.000 dollars Obama is willing to give these young men to go to college if they are active helping the homelss ,serving in the military ect. but what does McCain say to this he says he can help any interest group that comes along.Wake up people Mccain is not thinking about us he only want to be president.I regret voting for Bush in 2004 but you better believe knowing how close McCain has been to Bush's polices there is no way in H*ll that I would cast my vote for him.And seniors out there don't be fooled by McCain because he will not do what he said he will do for medicare if that was the case he would have explain what he would do in details earlier but now he is pounding so hard on medicare because he want your vote.Don't be fooled into another 8 years of only the wealthy benefit it is our turn and Obama will change that.God bless us all and vote with your mind and heart

I hope that the RNC realizes that Sarah Palin is a disgrace to the Republican party and does not see her as a leader after this election. I am generally a conservative but I will cast my vote for Barack Obama in Indiana on Tuesday. Indiana will turn blue this year. I will change my status to Independent because I do not want any affiliation with Sarah Palin.

VOTE OBAMA INDIANA!!!!!!!!!

I voted early and for the first time in years I voted Democrat.
The only other time was for Clinton. Bush has destroyed this county
and I wish I could take my vote back when I voted for him. I will
not make that mistake twice.

Since Obama is going to lead us into socialism like in England, will we be calling him Lord Obama instead of President Obama? Oh, maybe not, because he will also lead us into European style secularism. CNN moderators won't post this anyway, because during this campaign they have become as left as Fox News is right.

Has anyone wondered how McCain would run this country?
If his campaign is any indication America would be in total chaos. We could have Pres. John “the Maverick” McCain who is well known for this hotheadedness and quick temper and has all indications of early Alzheimer’s; Vice Presidents Todd and Sarah Palin, cheerleader, moose and wolf killer, champion snowmobile racer and member of the Alaskan Separatist Party; Secretary of Defense….Joe the Plumber and Secretary of the Interior….Tito the Builder.

We have seen in almost all Republican candidates campaigns nothing but negativity, divisiveness, lying, and a back biting tone with total disrespect for the intelligence of American people. What are they running on? I have yet to figure this out. What has happened to them?

My choice is clear. I have seen Obama present himself with dignity, honesty, and respect. He has presented a clear view of where he would like to take this country…building from the ground up and bring respect and self-esteem back to the American people. Vote, vote for Change on Tuesday, Nov. 4th. Yes, we can be a country of honor once more!!!

I have seen the New England Patriots get 2 touchdowns within the last 2 minutes of play. So I think Obama better call his Aunt and ask her how he can represent her in her immigration trial. Because John McCain will be President come Tuesday.

Unless Obama calls Rev. Wright for a special prayer.

I am amazed that this is really going to happen! I am not overly impressed with any canidate. But there are so many legitimate questions about Obama I can not believe that america is about to choose him as our leader. He was the lawyer for Acorn which has done some pretty underhanded things with the campaign. His connection with Ayers. Mainly his connection with his past preacher which after watching is one of the most racist people on this planet. When I was in the middle east everyone was shouting to the americans to vote for Obama. I am sure the terroist are sitting back laughing at the fact that we are about to put in power whom they want there! It's a sad world these days.

Even Arizona is voting for Obama/Biden - they staged an "Arizona Divorces McCain March" yesterday ! The McCain campaign was too erratic, silly, negative and racist. And, don't get me started on the Palin pick. Come on people, get out there to vote and volunteer to help others vote! Yes we can!!!

i thought the title was about the polls tightening..well looks the same to me unless cnn has started using the john McCain campaign internal polls. A poll so biased, it even shows the race in California tightening.I am waiting for them to predict the polls tightening up too in Hawaii.

Even though I will not vote for McCain, it was an enjoyable show and he was very funny.

Regarding Aunt Zeituni, leave the old lady alone. Have you forgotten the civil wars that have been taking place in Kenya?

Also, who here in this country can control what their relatives do? I for one certainly cannot. If people could, do you think there'd be a meth/crack problem in this country? Do you think Sarah Palin's husband would've been with the Alaska independence party at all? or McCain would've stopped Cindy's drug problem himself? Guiliani said it himself: "Leave the families alone". (he's had a few family issues of his own, too)

Last, if Obama actually did know about this, don'tcha think he would've done something about it this whole time he was running for prez?

Although it brings to light immigration issues that neither candidate chooses to discuss, this is NOT a deal breaker in voting for Barack nor does it affect his solid, and calm judgement.

America needs someone who can fix this economy and provide steady leadership, and restore America's standing in the world. At a time when the economy is in the toilet, we are loosing our influence in Latin America and fighting ill-advised wars - John Mccain is not that person. McCain is a hawkish, warmongering relic.

To anyone who hasn't been paying attention to the facts, after the last 8 years, the fate of this Nation and quite literally the rest of the world, hinges on We The People electing a person who's going to put Country before demands of the military-industrial complex and the religious right. There is only ONE clear choice. Let's kick the bums out!

McCain/Palin rallies simply sets us back at least 30 years. Obama reflects REAL change for the world. I voted early...there was a line but it only took about an hour or so. Please, if you have to wait until Tuesday, prepare to stay and do whatever is needed to vote. A McCain/Palin is not what the world needs right now.

CNN your poll or polls are a little bit higher than the national polls, (Rausmussen, etc.) The polls mentioned on air today showed a 2 point FL lead. (Obama) A 3 point VA lead (Obama) PA a 4 point (lead Obama) OH 4 point lead (Obama). All are within the margin of error.
Yes I forgot NV 4 point lead (Obama).

So anything can happen!!!

Don't forget that if they can get the numbers down to a few percentage points between McCain and Obama, they can pull it across the finish line by rigging the computerized voting machines. They can't do it if there is a 7 to 8 point difference but at 2 or 3 points, within the margin of error, or with the 'undecideds' being more than the difference between the two candidates, they can do it. That's why they keep saying their internal polls say it's closer. They can just say "See..polls are wrong."

Don't let them steal another election from us.

CNN I know you want a headline but a 1 point decrease does not indicate "tightening". It's a natural variation when you are averaging polls and is more than likely statistical noise. Get into the 3 point range and you might have something to talk about.

For some reason, my original comment wasn't posted. I guess it's because I made an arguement against the "chosen one".
Beck, the military was polled, and it was overwhelmingly for John McCain. That is very revealing to me.

Wish you all the best!!

I've followed the campaign for some weeks now, but still haven't figured out what McCain wants to do about the economy (cut taxes, how are u gonna pay?) nor national security (is his fighting spirit not a bit scary...?).

My wife argues that McCain misses empathy, that is needed in times of crises, to bring people together. Is McCain 'tested' as a manager?

The world is watching with bated breath. I feel like this time s different, and the citizens of America have had enough - but I also remember Nov 3rd, 2004, when I scrolled through thousands of images, of people in disbelief apologising to the rest of the globe. Please, please, please take it all the way this time. Your decision impacts more than just your shores.

Good luck, go vote - for those of us who wish we could!

I am simply amazed that anyone with a brain in their head or a heart in their chest could even possibly consider voting for McCain/Palin. The choice of those two candidates would say far more about the lack of intelligence of the American voter than it would about the qualifications of the ticket. They have campaigned HARD and DIRTY to win over the less educated voter by using the typical Republican fear mongering tactics. I pray that enough voters in this country are not swayed by their divisive politics.

I just want this to be November 5th...The rhetoric that is coming out of their mouths and the people are eating it up. How can anyone be extremely gullable. Palin is Florida and signs that McCain's name is not their. It was not done by the GOP...If someone says that Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air? I would say she is a breath of toxic waste.

I think people are seeing that maybe their lives could be different and taking a chance on someone new and different. Obama is calm in a hurricaine; while McCain is extremely radical. Now bringing out Wright only days before the election?

Reading about Obama not wanting Nuclear Power, I am still a bit leary about that, I still remember Three Mile Island and 30 minutes away from not being a State!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just vote....

I'm just listening to the McCain spokesman lie about Obama and taxes. Suggesting that Obama is going to raise taxes on anyone making over $125,000/year. This is a lie.

Obama voters. Some people are going to believe this and all the other BS they spout. Don't sit back thinking this is in the bag because it's not. McCain still has a path to victory and we must stop that.

Future Headline:
Since President Obama has decided that Americans who do not want to pay more taxes are "selfish". Those Americans who were so generous with contributions to charities in the past are no longer contributing. These organizations are being told to go ask President Obama, he knows how to contribute your money better than the person who is making it. America has always been touted as one of the most giving countries in the world, however since the new president took over only the organization that is part of his agenda are now benefitting.
