In these last hours of a record breaking campaign I found Obama's comment about Cheney endorsing McCain to be funny. I'm sure McCain campaign gurus cringed over Cheney's endorsement. Really at this point in time endorsements and making a case that McCain is the same as Bush is nothing new. Enjoyed Obama having a bit of fun.

Your argument is weak, and typical of liberals. "Let's base this election on intelligence and what degrees each candidate has." Does experience count for anything if a person wants to be President? It's purely an argument of book smarts vs. street smarts. I'm happy to see this paper make the endorsement even knowing the electoral votes will go to McCain. Who knows, maybe it will make someone rethink their vote for McSame and Caribou Barbie but I doubt it. And so sorry to hear about Obama's grandmother. So where is the statement from the McCain campaign about "our thoughts and prayers are with Senator Obama and his family in this time of loss."?????? Oh that's right, they haven't issued one.

It really saddens me how numerous Americans are embracing socialism now. If Obama wins, our economy has the possibility of being destroyed in 4 short years...and it may take decades to recover. My wife is from a country that has had socialism, dictatorships, etc., and she simply cannot believe how Americans are cheering on Obama and his clearly socialistic path is trying to push. I guess a nice smile and rehearsed speeches can do wonders to mesmerize. If Obama wins, I only hope our country withstands the storm that is coming.
