Why does this surprise anyone? She is an unknown entity. McCain, Obama and Biden have been around the block for a few years and, as such, are known subjects. Obviously not well vetted by the RNC before her debut as VP pick, she carries a lot more volatile baggage than any of the other candidates and that baggage is going to blow up real good when it's opened. Her previous connections with the Alaskan secessionist party, the connection to wingy preachers, her "good ol' redneck girl" image, her ethics, or rather, her interpretation of ethics, her basic, just average, intelligence, her ignorance of the real world, of the American system of government, of politics and of good campaigning. And this thing about not releasing even a brief medical history is too suspicious to ignore. Too many things she will have to explain or cover, maybe too many people up there in Alaska who know the real story and are willing to talk about it. She's really is just a pitbull with lipstick, not at all a VP.

Interesting to see how her latest investigation plays out with her flights and stay at the Essex House pans out. As we all know, she is the sizzle without the steak, but in the investigation issues, where there is smoke, there is fire. I support Barrack and respect McCain, but really do not know what he was thinking when he picked Sarah Palin. I spend more time determining the shirt I am going to buy then he took in picking Ms. Palin. Really an insult to the American people. The fact that they are not releasing the documents is a very strange, bearing in mind that the medical records are always released by the candidates.
Something very strange is going on. There is something in those records they are desperate to hide although they know that by not releasing them they would lose votes. It must be something very serious they're trying to hide, more serious than losing votes.

- no evidence of a brain
- hasn't had a kid in many years
- had an abortion once (or twice)
- pathological liar/emotional problems
- believes in witches
- believes the bridge to nowhere is the McCain campaign theme
- Thinks she is important enough for Sarkozy to call, lol
- Abuses power without a conscience
- Thinks abstinence education has worked in her own family

So, since everyone already knows this, why keep the records secret???

When they do they are the media elite, Even in the debate she had the gaul to say she wasn't going to answer the questions asked of both her and Biden.

in agreement with most in this thread...she wont release the records because the down syndrome child is not hers but her teenage daughters, who is now pregnant again...i mean what a coincidence...they say she never appeared pregnant during that time, she mysteriously flew from texas to alaska after her water supposedly broke, and from what i read they had for some reason pulled bristol out of school for several months during that time...

so, what do is she hiding now in not releasing these records??

Seems odd that she wouldn't even release a "Statement" from her general GP that she is healthy with no history of past diseases and no underlying medical conditions?! You'd think if that were true McCain would be itching to have that released! Clearly the only answer is there IS something to hide! The problem is that for someone who says they are for transparency, this makes me stand up and take notice of ehy Gov. Palin is so evasive.

If there is nothing to be concerned about, what is the problem. By stonewalling, it only makes people feel there is something being hidden or doctored up.

Hopefully, it won't matter much after Tuesday.

In the end....I blame this on John McCain......for not gettiong all the info on her before his knee-jerk picking of her.
