I am not surprised. The GOP are trying to loose this election. Neither party wants to inherit this economy. Neither candidate can fix it, it is an economic cycle. This time four years ago In St. Paul MN as I went door to door to give people info on where their voting place was, several reported that that morning they had received a phone call telling them to go to a different polling place. Let's hope that the votes are a landslide (in Obama's favor of course) so that the "hanging chad effect" will be impotent. Get up, get out, VOTE, and take someone with you who needs help getting there. Our privilege, our right, and our duty to each other, our country, and to the world. Citizenship without borders.

I have to agree with the reader that their should be criminal charges (prosecution). I cannot believe that anyone would stoop to this level. The human side of me would like to believe that John McCain and the Republican party would never stoop to this level, but I truly wonder.

I consider myself a moderate traditionally leaning towards the GOP, but I have voted Democrat the last 3 election and have already sent my absentee ballot (Obama/Biden '08)

I think I should just register as a Democrat....the Republican party is corrupt and their needs to be a comprehensive investigation.

For starters, if these calls can be traced, the people responsible should be denied their voting rights for the rest of their lives. Take away from them, pemanently, what they seek to deny from others.

If it turns out that the calls were approved by any arm of the Republican party, whether on the local, state, or national level, the person in charge at that particular level should be charged and jailed.

I am a Ghana living in Ghana.I have followed the American eletions this year through BBC and CNN and the kind of politics the GOP is practicing is comparable to the politics people in Africa practice. So tell me does the GOP and Bush have any moral rights after all of this to criticise President Mugabe and his fellow dictators like Chavez?
It's a shame American politics are coming to this. Even in Ghana the politician are doing thier best to make this election an issue based one.
