CNN projects Cornyn will win Senate race in Texas

(CNN) – CNN projects that Republican incumbent John Cornyn will clinch a second term in the Texas Senate race, defeating Democratic state Rep. Rick Noriega.

CNN projections are based on actual results and exit poll data from key areas.

    I like John Cornyn as a person. I had high hopes for him when he went to Washington. But he has turned out to be pretty much a do nothing senator. I hope his next term he will try to do better.
