CNN projects Lautenberg will win Senate race in NJ

(CNN) – CNN projects that Democratic incumbent Frank Lautenberg will defeat Republican Dick Zimmer for the Senate race in New Jersey.

CNN projections are based on exit poll data from key areas.

    Looks like the Republican party needs to shed the uberconservitives, the radical right, and the evangelicals and look to the center leaning members. The base they refer to is a small part and have hijacked the whole party.

    They also need to be inclusive toward ALL, not just to the rich and powerful. Until they do this they will implode!!

    This isn't a surprise to those of us in the state. When was the last time that NJ sent a Republican to the Senate? It was before many current voters were voting.
