jim   November 4th, 2008 9:42 pm ET

My goodness. I'm glad that I review the blog before I let my granddaughter read this.

Sorry Cnn only on tv and not on the computer for this night. TV election is rated G.

Tim Campbell   November 4th, 2008 9:34 pm ET

Can somebody please tell CNN that their math is off? They are missing 1 electoral vote.

Bob   November 4th, 2008 9:33 pm ET

To 47yo male for McCain: I am an intelligent white person and I can spell it correctly. That is a fact; I can only guess that you are bigoted and stupid.

We will have a new leader shortly. Roll up your sleeves and get to work making this country the real shining star on the hill instead of complaining.

And no matter what anybody says here – We are all Americans in the same boat together! It's time to forget red vs. blue and be red, white & blue!

when is Obama's speech in grant park supposed to happen

Barbara in NC   November 4th, 2008 9:30 pm ET

Don't worry Amy. Obama is OK. He loves the constitution. He has advisors from both sides – THE BEST

He will do us proud.

Obama/Biden '08 and proud of it

Susan   November 4th, 2008 9:30 pm ET

So much hatred – I just want to say that my husband said this to me:
"I am a racist. I will admit that. I will also admit that Obama is the right man to bring this country back. He has my vote!
You can rise above your hatred!

Lucy   November 4th, 2008 9:28 pm ET

It makes me feel a lot better knowing that Pailin is not going the get near the White house. It would be the worst nightmere if she would eve get to be the VP. It's better that she goes where she belongs ALASKA

former gop   November 4th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

Palin lost this election for McCain. He was stupid for choosing her and she's just stupid.

Amy   November 4th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

I had my concerns about electing Barack Obama – I believe he can do much to restore pride to America. I am just a little concerned about those who believe they are "owed something" because of something that happened 200 years ago and how they will react to this win.
As long as you continue to lift up the negative, you will reap the negative.
No race is above another.
No gender is above another.
Let us all come together and be Americans. If I'm born in Cuba – I may be referred to as a Cuban American….born in Africa, an African American. If I'm born in the United States of America – I'm An American! There is no need to identify your race or your heritage. Do you want to be an American? Then stand up and be one and rejoice that we have leaders from all races that can unite us.

Lucy   November 4th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

Knowing that Palin is not going to be in the White House makes me feel a lot better, I Can Not stand here voice and all the stupid mistakes that she makes all the time. It would be the worst nightmere if she would ever get to be the V P

47 yo male for mccain……just because someone supports obama doesnt mean there black or supporting obama JUST because of his skin color in fact majority of YOUNG college educated kids are voting for obama were TIRED of you old farts look what you've done to this country we are the future this isnt the 60's and 70's anymore……jesse jackson ran for president did you see blacks chucking and jiving to the polls for jesse jackson to become the first black president???? NO because hes not qualified………so shut up with that nonsense your probably one of those mccain supporters whose not supporting barrack obama simply because hes black…..so yea theres blacks voting for barrack because hes black but theres also whites voting for mccain because hes WHITE……..me i simply support barrack obama because i know how it is to struggle im not struggling anymore my family is well off but if i can help my fellow country men and women with a penny here and there im all for it and barrack supports my views on that

Brian   November 4th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Revalations? By that quote alone, any president could be 'the anti-christ'.

As for 47, 85% of blacks voted for Kerry, so apparantly he must be a secret black. Blacks are voting for Obama for the most part because hes a DEMOCRAT, not because he's black. Thats a REAL FACT.

Please — you religious fanatic freaks do not belong in this country!

Don't call Virginia   November 4th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Just don't call VA, NC and FL!

Sue   November 4th, 2008 9:17 pm ET

It may actually be close in Texas!
I see Barack Obama as the more intelligent choice. I could never say that about someone who would choose Sarah Palin as a running mate.
A president needs to appear confident and in control of himself and the situation. When I look at McCain, I see the same bumbling snicker that we've endured for 8 years.
Unfortunately, you will be sending our village idiot back to Dallas!

From the North   November 4th, 2008 9:17 pm ET

So sad to see the hate here. I hope all those bitter, hating minds will change as people realize an Obama win's the best possible thing for the country.

Watch the stock markets tomorrow, folks, for the world's verdict on Obama.

aprilthemis   November 4th, 2008 9:17 pm ET

Don't know if you're watching Texas yet, but Obama is currently winning the general election in Houston, Harris County, Texas, which I don't believe even Bill Clinton was able to achieve! This speaks volumes for us. I can't recall, in my lifetime, a Democratic nominee taking Harris County. Soo exciting to see this progressive change. Doubt we'll see it in Tarrant County (Dallas), but the night is young…

Barbara in NC   November 4th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

I'm white, and I'll take the intelligent god-fearing dark man over the liars and hate-mongers of the republican party any day. NO MORE DIVISIVENESS. NO MORE HATE.

Clyde   November 4th, 2008 9:12 pm ET

Its a superb feeling to really realize the greatest dream that was dream of an African American couple withlittle girls entering the White House

Pramod PARAJULI   November 4th, 2008 9:10 pm ET

With Obama as president and a democratic majority in Senate and Congress, USA will again stand tall in the world. We have a chance to redefine what America's role in global economy and politics is going to be.

This is a much needed historical change for us. Let us gear up for this new challenge and opportunity.

It's beginning to look like the Obama Democratic party of racists and hatred will take control of the new United Socialist States of America.

47yo male for McCain   November 4th, 2008 9:08 pm ET

Obama Supporter; you must be black because an intelleigent white person would not be saying that. Yes as a hardcore Republican I will say that most likely Obama will be elected, however, this does not mean things will get better! This simply means that blacks voted for him soley on the fact that he was black. This is a proven fact.

Will in Carson City   November 4th, 2008 9:08 pm ET

Our country is going down in a fiery inferno…. such a sad day.

Michaelangelo   November 4th, 2008 9:06 pm ET

You Americans are already getting too dumb just because of the current world's financial crisis.
Yeah! most of you are hoping for a change and it doesn't matter what hell, is going to happen for the future of America and the world.
If Obama becomes president, you people are done for good!!!

Go open up your bible ,onto "revelation" and figure it out!

"And I saw, and behold a white horse (white house); and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."

Revelation 006:002

If Wolf Blitzer says pre or pri jections one more time I am going to change the station – My God – at least sound like you know how to enunciate correctly — PRO (long O) jection.

Liz   November 4th, 2008 9:04 pm ET

Go Michigan!!

Obama/Biden 08

Obama Supporter   November 4th, 2008 9:02 pm ET
