I had my concerns about electing Barack Obama – I believe he can do much to restore pride to America. I am just a little concerned about those who believe they are "owed something" because of something that happened 200 years ago and how they will react to this win.
As long as you continue to lift up the negative, you will reap the negative.
No race is above another.
No gender is above another.
Let us all come together and be Americans. If I'm born in Cuba – I may be referred to as a Cuban American....born in Africa, an African American. If I'm born in the United States of America – I'm An American! There is no need to identify your race or your heritage. Do you want to be an American? Then stand up and be one and rejoice that we have leaders from all races that can unite us.

As for 47, 85% of blacks voted for Kerry, so apparantly he must be a secret black. Blacks are voting for Obama for the most part because hes a DEMOCRAT, not because he's black. Thats a REAL FACT.

I see Barack Obama as the more intelligent choice. I could never say that about someone who would choose Sarah Palin as a running mate.
A president needs to appear confident and in control of himself and the situation. When I look at McCain, I see the same bumbling snicker that we've endured for 8 years.

Don't know if you're watching Texas yet, but Obama is currently winning the general election in Houston, Harris County, Texas, which I don't believe even Bill Clinton was able to achieve! This speaks volumes for us. I can't recall, in my lifetime, a Democratic nominee taking Harris County. Soo exciting to see this progressive change. Doubt we'll see it in Tarrant County (Dallas), but the night is young...
