(CNN) - John McCain is set to win two more states as polls close at 9 p.m., CNN projects, based on exit polls.
The Republican will pick up the states of North Dakota and Wyoming, while Democrat Barack Obama will take Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Rhode Island and Wisconson.
Eight other states remain too close to call as their polls close.
