Ankur: They are only counting 3 for ME pending the tally in each of the two districts (not a winner-take-all state)

Ankur-

Maine is not a winner take all state, so they can't count all the electoral votes until the vote tally is completed.

GEORGIA WHY DID YALL GIVE UP….WHY

Ankur   November 4th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

I think CNN has totaled up Senator Obama's electoral votes incorrectly. Currently CNN has him at 174 electoral votes, but you project him winning the following states: IL (21) + PA (21) + MD (10) + DC (3) + DE (3) + NJ (15) + CT (7) + MA (12) + NH (4) + VT (3) + ME (4) + MN (10) + WI (10) + MI (17) + RI (4) + NY (31) = 175

47yo male for McCain   November 4th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

McCain has 81 Electoral College Votes, not 64. At this point it still doesn't put him ahead but the night is young.
