Make sure you get Oprah's permission. Why do the media always say what her thoughts are? what difference does it make. She is no wiser than Joe the Plumber. If the thieves from Wall Street are not bought to justice, The U.S.A. is in for a long road to recovery. Why is Paulson allowed to bail out all his buddies. They crapped in their own nest and brought down the world's banking system with their corruptness. The U.S. dollar will never be the currency of choice now. No one has any faith in it after this crisis. You sure can't trust them, that is for sure. And to let the masters of corruption get bonuses is almost laughable. Watch for Middle East Oil to trade in Euros.

Enough with the sour grapes. Obama will be our President. The country is moving forward. Some of you haven't felt the sense of unity yet. You are needed and we would love to have you come along. Please join the rest of your nation.

I hope Obama keeps his promises because there are a lot of poor people expecting to send their kids to college this next year. They want to be able to buy a government house to at a good price. Don't forget HEALTH CARE. Everyone I have talked to says their will be a BIG BACKLASH if this doesn't happen his FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE.

P.S. They are expecting their incentive check REAL SOON in time for CHRISTMAS.

    this is to nathan.......

you are a very sad individual.
your hate is exactly what is wrong in this country and world.
you need to educate yourself in so many ways
go live in third world country for just one week
i bet you would never survive

this is to all those who have so much negative to say.....

it will take much effort, time and patience to fix all the damage that has been done in the past eight years

please do your part to see and to create whatever positive progress you can

instead of saying, thinking or doing something negative, find the strength to say, think or doing something positive

it will make a better world for all of us

    Three strikes, Nathan:
I'll bet you are perpetually unhappy. Even without the Obama presidency. Too bad. I have to say, though, you'll feel like many of us did for 8 years.

3 strikes...I read your post 3 times and still cannot figure out what you are talking about.

nathan...are you a racist? Minorities should have been treated as equals from birth. What is wrong with that?

NIKKI...you are exactly correct. Obama is a great example to follow. Hard work and a goal goes a long way.

Day 1....starting the blame game a little early arn't you.

Go get 'em president Obama. Glad America voted for the smart one for once. It might take awhile, but we have full confidence that your well-considered policies, administration, and leadership will bring us through this mess.

And we welcome to this important task all you [R]s and independents who want to work and cooperate for the best of this country! ....whether you voted for Obama or not.

But for all those smaller beings who wish to stew in their rightwing bitterness, hate and fear-mongering, who want to continue the very failures that have brought so much distress to America, please get the hell out of the way and let us adults take over to clean up the mess YOU made. I won't ask twice.

The negative comments do nothing to help yourself or this country. Give the man a chance, you just may be surprised how great he really is. He is taking this job serious, thats more than Bush ever did!

To all the haters and naysayers – you had your chance – you had your President – he was intellectually weak and morally tepid. Move over for the youth of this country to take a hand a the wheel – if they fail then so be it – but you had your chance.

And the quicker you realize this the better.

Pres-elect Obama congrats on the transition team, but please don't just bring in Republicans for your Administration as tokens. Secretary Gates should stay on the job and Secretary Powell should be Secretary of Education or on the National Security Team. In addition, retired Marine Corp General Jones should also be on the National Security Team. Sen. Hagel should get Deputy Defense Secretary or Defense Secretary if Gates doesn't want to stay on.

As a reward for the youth vote, the re-establishment of the National Youth Administration.
