CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) – A source with the Obama Transition team tells CNN Senior Political Correspondent Candy Crowley that a plan to name David Axelrod a Senior Adviser to the incoming President is "in the works."

Yes, he is a good choice....anyone President elect Obama chooses will be good, he has and will surround himself with great staff.
The whole campaign has been run wonderfully, with excellent staff from day one and this country will be in the good hands now and get this country working again.

Axelrod and Plouf are masters at organization... I would love to see both of them working for Obama.. especially if people like these are going to replace people like Karl Rove

As a 61 year old – old schooler, I was annoyed that major black civil rights organizations did not come to the defense of Barack Obama while he was getting hammered by every conservative talk show host in America as well as analysts and hosts at Fox News. From my perspective, Fox News commentators are haters and have lost a generation of black watchers and consumers.

When Goerge W. Bush was re-elected in 2004, he said "I won political capital and I intend to use it." He was very upfropnt about considering himself to be President only of those who votd for him.

Fast forward to 2008, when Obama promises to be the President of those who voted for him AS WELL AS THOSE THAT DID NOT. To those that did not, he said "I hear your voices and will reach out to you."

Now there's the change we need!
