Barack and Michelle Obama leave their daughters' school Friday after a parent-teacher conference.

(CNN) – He meets with his team of economic advisers and then holds his first news conference as President-elect, but for Barack Obama, the day started with a more personal duty, that of father.

The Obama Transition Office announced this morning that the President-elect would start his day, along with his wife Michelle, by attending a parent teacher conference at his daughters' school in Chicago. Sure enough, the soon-to-be first couple were seen exiting his daughters' school with papers in tow.

Daughters Malia and Sasha are students at the University of Chicago's Lab School.

With all the serious things going on in the world and CNN decides to report this????? Come on CNN, give us real news. We understand the man is human but you guys act like every thing he does is amazing! Ok we all have known he loves his wife and kids but CNN is getting a little sickening on their journey of this man. Time to get back to real earth CNN

The man's minding his own business and taking care of his family. Some of you haters should try the same (look after your own kids and go near a school)

Faith, hope and charity   November 7th, 2008 10:51 am ET

Sen. Obama is the President-elect in case the news has not yet reached you. You will be hearing about him for the next four years, and especially now since the since crucial topics have to be addressed while the current commander prepares to demit office. If you don't hear much Obama in the news then obviously there is nothing worth talking about and that would be bad news. Please clean up the puke now!

I love this man as a person and I think he is just wonderful. He not only shows he cares about his family and friends, but he cares about us American people as well. Obama, I am so glad you were elected to be our president. We needed a change from the last 8 years and I know you will try your best to do the things you said you would do. Thanks to all the great people who voted for him.

He needs to get ready to take over, he has not done it yet, and taking care of his kids is part of that.

To Kimberly, the woman that thinks many black men and women do this every year??? Are you kidding?? How many, statistically speaking, black women even "know the baby daddy?". Statistics show MORE BLACKS have children out of wedlock than any other race. At one time, they, as a race, were being paid for getting married!!! How lazy is that? I know who my baby's daddy is – maybe the blacks will look upon this family as role models for THEMSELVES. Its not us that needs them! No way, no how is a black family in the white house a role model for me! I'm so sick of hearing their name, I'm with the guy that's going to puke! Besides, CNN, don't you have some news-worthy reporting to do or are we going to hear from you everytime the man farts?

John Luma   November 7th, 2008 10:49 am ET

It's very revealing when our top leaders choose NOT to send their kids to the public schools America relies on to educate most of our people. And almost all of them send their own kids to private schools. So let's see what Obama does now. Does he believe in the value of public education for Americans, or not? Does he want to show it is a top priority, or not? And I will say to all, until public education becomes the Number 1 social priority for every citizen, our Nation will continue to suffer the results, as it does now.

To all of you that are wondering if this is news worthy, it is. If he was cheating on his wife or involved in a sex scandal or some other horrible thing you'd eat it up like a pack of wild dogs. The problem is most people are only used to hearing negative stories about black men and seeing dysfunctional black relationships. We do not all find out who our "baby Daddy" is by going on the Maury Povich show. Some of us actually getmarried and have children by the man we married and actually have successful marriages and successful, well adjusted children. No he is not the savior of the world, that job is already taken. People have been complaining that they know nothing about Barack Obama, who is this guy they repeatedly say, but then the media presents a human interest story (they do have those every evening on local and national news) that will give you insight as to who he is and you turn away from it. Some people are never satisfied. I'm glad to see this, maybe it will influence other Dads both black and white to step up to the plate and be involved in thier lives.

JP   November 7th, 2008 10:47 am ET

Yep, there's that "man of the people, the "every man," the "populist" who "understands the concerns and plights of poor Americans" sending his kids to one of the most exclusive private schools in the nation.

I'm glad he's such a common man and carries no airs.

Keith   November 7th, 2008 10:47 am ET

Can we find out how involved he was before this? How many meetings has he missed before his run for the White House? I have two girls same age and grades. I have never missed a parent night.

I like Obama I am going to give him a chance to fix things. But making a parent meeting in school means nothing to all of us parents that do it everyday.

Gee, wish we were rich enough to go to that private school here in Chicago. How can you "fix" public education when neither of you and your children have no involvement in it and no clues as to what's going on, Barack and Michelle???

Michele   November 7th, 2008 10:42 am ET

I thought he wanted us to send our children to public school......isn't that his goal. Follow his lead and send your children to a private school. Look he is a man a human being he is not super man or the only Man that takes responsibility for his family.

Tim in Seattle   November 7th, 2008 10:42 am ET

I think this is totally relevant news – it's part of showing the nation that core values are important and showing parents that no matter how big your day is, or may be to you or others, your children's needs should always come ahead of your own or anyone elses.

To those that *still* spew vile, hate filled, rhetoric, I really feel sorry for you, that your lives are so lacking in meaning and purpose, no matter how educated you are, that you still feel the need to tear a person down before they've given reason to be torn down.

The person you hate and fear so much isn't the man we, as a nation, just elected our president – the person you hate and fear the most is looking back at you every time you look in a mirror.

Change is here – get used to the idea. Hope has won the day. There is a new awareness in this country like I've not seen in my lifetime. Embrace it and we can go far.

MD Parent   November 7th, 2008 10:42 am ET

I have often been critical of what is oftentimes insignificant coverage related to our public figures. This time, however, I believe it is completely appropriate that we know things like this. It is a good thing to have as the country's leader, a man who is involved in the lives of his children. One of the things we desperately need in our society is to see parents, especially fathers, taking an active role in their childrens' education.

If some of us really believe that this is insignificant, then we still have a really long way to go........family, parenting, mentoring, educating, these are not just things we talk about. These are things we do. As much as his policies, these are the things we have to watch. A President is not merely a political figure, he/she (in this case, he)is supposed to be a role model. We chastise celebrities when they do things we don't agree with, how much more should we be able to look to our President and all our political leaders, for that matter, as role models?

In any case, I think this is important news. I for one, will be doing my best not to miss any of my daughter's activities because of work. I , for one, will be striving to be the best father I can. I have no idea what kind of President Mr. Obama will be, but so far he is being a heck of a father, and that counts for a whole lot.

Sarah   November 7th, 2008 10:42 am ET

I am very proud of the Obama family. Him and Michelle appear to be very humble and down to earth. I'm glad he goes to parent teacher conferences, and I'm sure once he becomes more busier with all the Presidental responsibilities, I'm sure he will not be able to attend, Although Michelle will...However, it's still better than hearing about being a "Hockey Mom". Who cares about a "hockey mom when people are losing their homes and jobs...Go ahead Barak and lead the way. And for those who did not vote for him...he is STILL your President too.

Salt   November 7th, 2008 10:42 am ET

wait a sec – for perspective, paying attention to her kids is one of the many reasons Palin got lambasted by the media and boards like these. If tables were turned, this would be a negative news story instead of a positive one.

to "Donkey Party":

If Obama delivers on at least a third of his campaign promises, you can bet your donkey I will not "stand behind this man and support him throughout his Presidency"

Michael   November 7th, 2008 10:41 am ET

Harry Truman once said that he had the right to be two people: the President of the United States, and Harry S. Truman, husband and father. And he was absolutely right. What was true then is equally true now.

Besides, we all know very well that if President-elect Obama (man, I like the sound of that) DIDN'T go to things like parent-teacher meetings, the GOP would be all over it. Instead, he's acting like the dedicated husband, father and family man that he is - he was those things before he won the election, and he will be when his adminstration is over. And I agree, it does say a lot about his character.

vanessa   November 7th, 2008 10:41 am ET

It seems to me that we should understand that this is news because Barack Obama has just been elected, is the first African-American president, ran an unusual campaign and has won a large majority of the US population. All of this is news. As he is in office for a while, we won't be hearing about the smaller stories in his life. But for now, we will hear everything because it is all new. As for those posting negative comments about our new president-elect, don't you think we have had enough of vile comments and attacks? I, for one, am exhausted by all the negativity. We have had eight tortuous years. Why don't we all just wait and see what our new president will do? Bush was not being attacked this horribly before he exposed all of his failings. In the first few months of his presidency, the country waited to see what he would do. And I recall that even after a controversial act by the Supreme Court stopped an election recount, which was the beginning of this awful divide in the country, we all waited to see what Bush would do. Well, we saw. Give Obama a chance, the way many of us gave Bush a chance.

ines   November 7th, 2008 10:41 am ET

For every US president, there have been and will always be personal real-life stories that all media outlets will report. During the campaign we witnessed constant displays of Gov. Palin dragging her children around the country in an awkward manner playing up the "family gal" image that she was trying to portray (not too convincing I must say). Now we have a short personal report showing how the President-elect is attempting to maintain as much of a normal life for his children as possible, and some readers are scoffing at it????

That is just a wake up call for some parents to get their minds right and focus on their kid’s educations. I just hope that some African American men can see in PRESIDENT OBAMA a role model and start focus on being real fathers for their children and real husband for their wife. Women also have their part to play your need to understand that your kid education is the only and real heritage they will have from you so please before your make decision think about those innocent kid who did not ask to be born, think about how that decision is going to affect them in their future.

Oh and this is not news unless we are going to report on every parent that takes care of their kids and always does the right thing, which is rarely the easy or popular thing.

You would be amazed at how many parents DON'T attend conferences – even the one they demand – they don't come. I see it every day working in elementary education.

President -elect Obama, while yes a parent-teacher conference is news in his house, down the road it won't be news in our house. He is first a man, second a husband, third a father, and fourth an employee of the people of the United States. He has his priorities in order and if we would all give him the chance he will put "our" house in order and for those of you who don't know what I mean, "our house" is the United States Government.

Tom Douglas   November 7th, 2008 10:38 am ET

One thing I would like see the Obama's do is enroll their daughters in Washington, D.C. public schools. There is a very energetic head of the schools working tirelessly to reform the schools. She is supported by the new mayor of D.C. who happens to be a black man. Their efforts have been featured on CBS's 60 Minutes more than once.

If the First Family actively supported public education and necessary reforms in D.C., it would be a beacon for the rest of the country. However, it would put the new First Family at odds with the anchor tenant of the Democratic Party – the Teachers' Union. Change has to start somewhere.

Miller   November 7th, 2008 10:37 am ET

I'm not sure that some of us understand the concept of media. While this may not be breaking news, the media is going to report on essentially every move that President-Elect Obama will make over the next few years. News outlets will report on both the common as well as uncommon. And on a blog, where the purpose is to initiate conversation among the readers, the news is going to be decidely controversial or lighter in tone because these are generally the topics that create the most dialogue.

Georgia Gal   November 7th, 2008 10:37 am ET

I know way too many parents that arent the President-elect that cant/wont take the time out of their busy lives to meet with their child teacher...he has responsibilities and priorities, and some of YOU should take a minute and realize that if the President can take time out to make his family a priority, the rest of us sure as h3ll can as well!

Is it just me or does this man, who was called an Elitist by the other side, seem more like the rest of us than the hockey mom. While I do think Sarah Palin is getting more bad press than she deserves, I am comparing her exit from the concession speech in a full blown motorcade which stretched on for blocks to Barack Obama attending a parent-teacher conference. I think it goes a long way show that he won't govern from the left or from the right, but from the perspective of the average American family.

On the other hand, I thought I had it rough having one parent who was also a teacher. But, to have a parent who is the President-Elect of the United States...wow.

If a man can not rule his own house, then he can not rule anything else. This is a simple display of a MAN handling his business at home. He is raising his children so they grow up to be good citizens and not a civilian that hit's you over the head and steals your car. Some of you need to grow up.

pag from TX   November 7th, 2008 10:32 am ET

To Timber (ex-dem)

Don't be a hater. You just go ahead and puke because you will be hearing about President Obama for a while. So get use to it!!

mjc   November 7th, 2008 10:32 am ET

This may not be news worthy to some folks, but this shows that Michelle and Pres. Elect Obama are walking the talk by living up to his call for Parent's to be very involved in their children's education in all apsects.

Many of us parent's are already very involved so this message is not for you, BUT please keep in mind that there are MANY parent's who are NOT as involved as they should be. Pres. Elect Obama and his wife will be role models to many in that regard.

Besides, it's nice to hear a POSITIVE story in the MSM every once in awhile instead of all the DOOM and GLOOM day in and day out!

Joe in NJ   November 7th, 2008 10:32 am ET

Why is Obama a role model for going to a parent/teacher conference? It is every parent's duty to take an active part in their children's education.

pam Eugene OR   November 7th, 2008 10:32 am ET

I am very proud of the Obamas on a outstanding acomplishment! May the angels of the Lord be encamped round about them to keep them in all of their ways. May the peace of God be upon them as they enter into a term of change for the betterment of the nation. I support them in their endeavors as they move this nation to a new beginning. May God continue to bless you richly in the abundance of grace, revelation knowledge to lead us as a people, and love which is made available through Christ!

I understand that those of you who supported McCain are angry that he did not win. However, there is no need to be disrespectful. I would say that your display of disrespect is the exact same reason why the ticket of your choice did not win. And I am a republican.

Cat   November 7th, 2008 10:27 am ET

Mr President Elect is demonstrating he "walks the walk" and he's a responsible parent. No, it's not headline worthy, but if it makes even one parent think "hey maybe I should attend those parent/teacher conferences, too" then it may make a difference in a child's life. My brother-in-law is a high school science teacher and he spends many hours getting ready for these conferences and usually maybe 10% of the parents bother to come. Then later when they get the report card and find out their child is failing they want to know "why are YOU the teacher letting my child fail!"

Adam   November 7th, 2008 10:27 am ET

For those complaining about this "news", you should know that so many parents never show up for their conferences. Having worked in education, I can say just how little interest a huge number of parents take in their kids education. The fact that he is making it a priority should set a great example for the rest of America, and I hope he continues to LEAD BY EXAMPLE.

Michael, Houston Texas   November 7th, 2008 10:27 am ET

Some of you are missing the point of this story. I believe what CNN is pointing out that it does not matter that this man is the most powerful man in the world, he is still a father, a husband and human. I personally love to hear stories like this. We seldom get to see a President's human side. Although I don't like GWB, I am sure he has a side to him outside of being the President, that most would admire. Now I know you supporters of other candidates are going to make it a point to pot shot everything about Obama and that is to be expected. The problem is, it makes you look foolish and hateful. And you wonder why America is not down with your perspective party's.

pam Eugene OR   November 7th, 2008 10:27 am ET

Bottom line, he's a terrific role model, just not the color that some would prefer and that's too bad for them. Those who are the haters are the ones missing out. For the Last Time, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour is the Messiah. Not Mr. Obama, and Mr. Obama would be the FIRST to tell you so. It could be that he's not so big, it's just that you are just so small!!

Grady Watson   November 7th, 2008 10:26 am ET

Its good to see good things in the news especially about our new president- elect. I've supported Obama from day 1 and for those who posted things about this not being real news. This is the kind of things we need to see more off. Mix it up some, we know the economy is bad, people have lost jobs, gas, and war. Lets see more positive things and still keep to the issues. Thanks.

Proud American   November 7th, 2008 10:26 am ET

I am a proud supporter of President Obama. However, I think there are somethings that should be kept private. We don't need people knowing his every move. Come on America, you have to know when to shut up. Save the energy for when he's working out the issues and everything else that deals with the American people. For now I think he's just being a parent.

Michele   November 7th, 2008 10:26 am ET

Okay I have tried not to say anything it is great that he does the Good Parenting thing this however is not news. Now as far as Black Men using this a role model to being a good dad.....NOW HEAR THIS.....Black Mean are no the only ones not being good fathers believe me......Men are not the only bad parents look at how many so called Mothers are killing their children. This is non sense he goes to PTA meetings this is not the first time we heard this......hopefully there will be other parents that attend also do they get a spot in the news.

Kimberly in Azizona   November 7th, 2008 10:26 am ET

Awesome, it is news, because we have not had a president with young children like this since Kennedy, this is great, to see a man this young being a GOOD father, something GWB was not, and doing normal father things. I like to read stuff like this, its WAY better than had we had to read about cindy mccain shopping with palin...I am SOOOOO glad Obama is THE PRESIDENT!

G. Robinson   November 7th, 2008 10:25 am ET

Is it me or does the media have President Obama under a microscope? Can he have some breathing room? Campbell Brown said the CNN was going to "hold this administration accountable" then reminded us of the promises President Obama has made. I understand the excitement and anxiety over new leadership, but I'm beginning to think that people in the media are becoming OVERLY concerned about President Obama and the type of President he will be. It's like the media is waiting for him to make his first mistake. Why didn't the media hold Bush accountable? I'm still smelling that race rat.

God Bless the NEW FIRST FAMILY!!!!!

LB   November 7th, 2008 10:24 am ET

I think the point is, as he mentioned in his speech. He will do what ever it takes to help the American people, but it is also the parents responsibility to get involved with their kids lives and education, turn off that TV, cell phone, etc. and force them to get their homework done and to study. Obama, by going to his daughters parent teacher conferences is leading by example. If he can take time to attend that meeting, why can the rest of the parents in American do the same for their kids.

Pesty like ants!   November 7th, 2008 10:24 am ET

Negative comments have no place here regarding our President-Elect. Just in case you haters need a reminder, EVERYTHING the President does is news. The end! Get over yourselves and celebrate the direction this country is headed in and be proud that you have someone like President-Elect Obama representing our country and each and every American.

If reading things about him gets on your nerves, stop logging on to the "report zones" and play some games. Online games are for the mindless and it won't matter if you show up there and talk trash. Political blogs should be a venue for people to discuss what's good, what could be better and what we, as a people, are going to do about it. At this point, get behind our President-Elect. You no longer have a choice.

Stop the hate. It's annoying.

This is America. We are free to tune in and tune out if we don't like the news. The Obama's are a fine role model for the world and some people just hate it and that's sad. How can you hate it when somebody is getting so much love? Dang, people. This is news because he is leading by example. It would behoove others to respond to their own children the way the Obama's are responding to theirs. Personal Responsibility and he's leading by example. He's not a messiah, he's just a man. But what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man. And there are thousands of men like Mr. Obama, including my ex husband, but you don't hear about them. So much love to the Obamas for keeping it real. He just happens to be POTUS, but he's real. What did you expect?

Bridget   November 7th, 2008 10:24 am ET

Seriously? This is news? I suppose the point is for me to be impressed with what a great father Obama is, but I honestly don't really care. I care about how well he is going to serve our country. Let's do some more reporting on that...

Michael M, Phoenix AZ   November 7th, 2008 10:24 am ET

Good job, Mr. President Elect! Remember how much trouble the Bush twins kept getting into while attending college? Maybe a difference in parental upbring?

PA Republican for Obama   November 7th, 2008 10:23 am ET

Those of you complaining that this is news need to step back and realize that the story itself is revealing the character of President-Elect Obama, and the character of our President reflects on us as Americans and how we are perceived both at home and throughout the world. And I think it demonstrates great character for a man this important to still show our country that no man is ever too important or too busy to be a father to his children.

This sets a great example for our nation, an example that is sorely needed given all of the parents (both men and women) who DON'T take the time to pay attention and be involved in their children's lives.

CT no Dodd   November 7th, 2008 10:23 am ET

While I appreciate the imagery and message this sends to parents about being involved – Why is this front page news? If the Obama's didn't go it'd be all over the press too. This is not news. I'd like to see some real support and counseling programs for families to help with single parents, couples and parenting (even if parents aren't together). That would be real news and help for the country.

gladaboutit   November 7th, 2008 10:23 am ET

Sarah, Missoula MT   November 7th, 2008 10:22 am ET

to those who think updates like this are unimportant: i couldn't disagree more.

how many fathers actually go to the parent-teacher conferences? usually it's just the moms, if at all. ask a teacher you know. obama is going to set a wonderful example for everyone – even people who think they are too busy or have more important things to do. no one is busier than the president, and he makes time for family even in these serious times.

T'SAH from Virginia   November 7th, 2008 10:21 am ET

TO ALL OF THE HATERS: If McSAME won, most likely his "PA'IN" – Ms. Sarah – would be attending partent/teacher conferences – that is if her children go to school – and I "betcha" you would not be complaining about that!!!!!

PRESIDENTS are normal people – or at least they should be – and hearing NORMAL things every once in a while gives a lot of people HOPE!!!! I wonder how many parents NOW would take the time to "call" the school and check on their own kids "just because" they read this article. FROM THE BOTTOM UP BABY is the "only" thing that would make this country BETTER!!!!!

Thank you President Obama and your "lovely" FIRST FAMILY!!!!

Cammi317   November 7th, 2008 10:21 am ET

It's called leading by example...take heed people. You'd be surprised at the number of "parents" in this country, of all races, who take no interest in their children's education. Education is one of his main projects, so it is nice to see that he intends to continue to be an active participant in his daughters' educations. A lot of peple may have blown the conference because they were to busy being the new President Elect.

Jaye   November 7th, 2008 10:21 am ET

Thank you CNN for the most fair coverage in television history!

Kris in Denver   November 7th, 2008 10:21 am ET

It makes sense that the Obamas would talk with the girls' teachers before the move to DC. Changing schools in the middle of the school year is never easy, so they might have suggestions that would help the kids through their transitions. It really is nice to see committed, caring parents working to do their best for their kids.

He just paid off his student loans two years ago, he has two young daughters with teacher conferences this week, he has a intelligent, beautiful hard working wife, he is getting a puppy and he is incredibly busy. Considering I'm a white guy from Maine and he's a black guy from Illinois we sure have an awful lot on common. muffy   November 7th, 2008 10:10 am ET

He is not only a great pres. elect, but a wonderful father to his two beautiful, bright daughters.

Those teachers better beware. If his kids don't get glowing reports, the Obamabots will rip them to shreds.

d   November 7th, 2008 10:10 am ET

That's a positive role model the world going crazy around him and he still makes time for his children. If this is the type of character this man has we have pick a good leader.

That is funny. I don't think he can keep on doing that. However, his wife can afford to maintain the status quo.

WHAT A ROLE-MODEL

HouseDiva   November 7th, 2008 10:09 am ET

Obama's a good father with two beautiful girls.

I just hope more young black fathers follow his example. Maybe there's some hope in that now.

azindie   November 7th, 2008 10:08 am ET

Thank god they actualy go, so many parents in america could learn from this.

Wilson, GA   November 7th, 2008 10:08 am ET

Whatever your feelings are toward this man, whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Other, it is essential that we all stand behind this man and support him throughout his Presidency. As with Bush and prior Presidents, when he does something good, we let him know it, just as we let him know when he does something bad. The point is, we are all Americans, he is our new President, who has the support of a hopeful world, now we must offer him the support of a hopeful nation.

Purple Nurple   November 7th, 2008 10:07 am ET

Well, that will be a crazy parent teacher conference!! I am excited to see young kids in the WH. No longer do we see the old grey haired croney, but yet we see a young and ready to get some work done Obama.

S   November 7th, 2008 10:06 am ET

Ok I am an Obama/Biden supporter, but why is this news? He is still a parent, I guess I should just take this as a slow news morning.

Jocely   November 7th, 2008 10:06 am ET

I just went for parent-teacher conference on November 4'th after I vote.

I understand is tough enough to be a parent. It's tough to be the president of United State and it is very very hard to be president in this difficult time. I will pray for him the president elect Obama to be successful in help the american people to get out of this tough time.

JACKED-UP-POLITICS, FLORIDA   November 7th, 2008 10:04 am ET

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa it is interesting how the media is so quick to announce the girl's school location but then again, many in the media see AMerica as everyone singing Kumba Ya

Rob Johnson   November 7th, 2008 10:04 am ET

One of my favorite moments from this campaign was when McCain cut off that lady who said she couldn't trust Obama because he was an Arab, grabbed the mike from her, and said..

"No, no, he's a decent family man."

Obama truly loves his family and gives them top priority, and I think a lot of conservatives will warm up to him when they see that he shares a lot of the same "family values" they do.

N. S. Huntsville, Al   November 7th, 2008 10:03 am ET

Thats great. Obama so many people are counting on you exspecially proverty stricken areas that are not funded properly in the area of education. Obama you have alot on your plate, but all things are possible through Jesus.

I will be praying for you, I think the world will.

pm in nc   November 7th, 2008 10:03 am ET

The Obama's have thier priorities straight! I am looking forward to having this beautiful, solid couple in the White House.

DJ in TX   November 7th, 2008 10:03 am ET

Good job! Being President does not relieve you of your duty as father. This is a good lesson for all fathers who work hard everyday. Always make time for your kids, especially at school.

ran   November 7th, 2008 10:02 am ET

This is too great. This is what this country has been longing for for so long a real person in the white house.

???   November 7th, 2008 10:02 am ET

first goes the family than the work = country and us? I hope this will not a pattern when in office...

PATTY IN KENTUCKY   November 7th, 2008 10:02 am ET

God bless president Obama! Michelle is really beautiful and elegant.

Voter   November 7th, 2008 9:57 am ET

I think we American don't really care about this. We all got the message about what a good father he is.

Let's move on to something a little more relevant.

Mystrunner   November 7th, 2008 9:56 am ET

Dear God.

Knowing how nervous some teachers get about parent-teacher conferences... I pity that educator...
