Palin in Obama's administration?

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) - Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said Wednesday she would be honored to help out President-elect Barack Obama in his new administration, even if he did hang around with an "unrepentant domestic terrorist."

Watch: I will help Obama, says Palin

The Alaska governor said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer that if Obama asked her for help on some of the issues she highlighted during this year's campaign, such as energy or services for special-needs children, "It would be my honor to assist and support our new president and the new administration."

"And I speak for other Republicans and Republican governors, also," said Palin, whom Sen. John McCain tapped as his running mate in August. "They would be willing also to seize this opportunity that we have to progress this nation together, in a united front."

But asked moments later about some of the tough rhetoric she hurled from the stump, she said she was "still concerned" about Obama's ties to former Weather Underground member-turned-Chicago college professor William Ayers.

"If anybody still wants to talk about it, I will," she said. "Because this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist who had campaigned to blow up, to destroy our Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol.

"That's an association that still bothers me, and I think it's fair to still talk about it," she continued. "However the campaign is over. That chapter is closed. Now is the time to move on and make sure all of us are doing all that we can to progress this nation."

Palin was attending the annual Republican Governors Association convention in Miami, Florida. She was interviewed for CNN's "The Situation Room" - the latest of several high-profile appearances for the ex-VP candidate - and will also appear Wednesday night on CNN's "Larry King Live."

Fist of all, more Pailn in the news...why???

the people of Alaska say she wasn't that far right while in Alaska, then she turned into a far right hate spewing, lying, do wagtever say whatever perfectly warped wingnut. so its no surprise to me that she would be "honored" to serve with Obama... You gotta wonder, aside from how deep her lack of sincerity and diginity goes... just how many faces does she have?

They lost the election, now take your ball and go home like a good sport...please...please go away already Palin.

keep talking about it Sarah...and meanwhile, let's let the IRS look at why you didn't claim the per diem you accepted for your husband and children and let's let the RNC audit the books to see why you spent what you spent on clothes not only for yourself, but for an unborn child.

A place in the Obama Adminstration? Yeah, right. As if. Don't think I need to say more.

Palin would do better to run for Senator, and represent Alaska and traditional american values in the Senate, than to be a governor of a sparsely populated state. I think that is the direction she should take. It would be a far better platform for her to stand as a bulwark against the creeping socialism infecting this once-great country.

I have to think that Obama probably almost choked on his gum as he roared into laughter at this! Obama will probably be kind and not say anything but in mind, her lack of any intelligence whatsoever would lull him into a stupor let alone send a cold, harsh shiver down his spine in much the same way when someone drags their fingertips across a chalkboard!

I wouldn't think she'd want to work for someone who she says "pal's around with terrorists." Hypocrite.

We all know now that Drill Baby Drill was meant to be the next instrument for a bubble for the republican chronies to sell Americans Oil from Alaska, we punctured the bubble before it started, how else would McCain choose an unknown governor from Alaska, the plan was to push oil prices to 5 dollars, open up Alaska for drilling, give it to their buddies, keep GM making gas guzzlers.

Can someone shut this idiot up, already?

As if Obama would ask her to serve in his Administration... he's only recruiting the best and the brightest, and she falls at least 50 points shy on the IQ chart. I'm surprised Alaska even wants her back!

Poor Caribou Barbie... Alaska isn't enough for her anymore, she craves national attention and the spotlight! When, Lord.... when will it end? When will she finally shut up and stop talking??

Obama ask Palin for advice? Seriously? I heard her speak and there isn't anything that she would have to say that would be of help to Obama except "I'm sorry for the lies I said about you". If she rises to power in the republican party it will be the end of them as we know them. I agree with Ron Paul, and Sarah, you're no Ron Paul. He's smart.

"If anybody still wants to talk about it, I will," she said.

It begs the question – is she stopping people on the street and asking them if they want to talk about it? If she got her "desired" spot in an Obama administration, would she stop people in the corridors of the Capitol asking them if they want to talk about it?

It will NEVER cease to amaze me how idiotic this two-faced moron is. The fact that she had an opportunity to be a heartbeat away from the most powerful position in the world is a sad and shameful one.
