I'm an Independent voter and was considering a vote for John McCain,
UNTIL he chose Palin as a running mate. She isn't qualified to be a Vice President, and heaven forbid, a president. I have never seen someone so full of herself, thinking everything is all about HER. GO BACK TO ALASKA AND DON'T COME BACK.

Many of us are so sick of the media's obsession with Palin. They continue to shove this disgraceful woman down our throats with publicity she does not deserve.
Perhaps we can register our disgust by ignoring their constant headlines, articles about her.
Perhaps our refusing to comment may help them get the message??
Probably not as they have ignored us and quality reporting for the last two years, but is worth a try.

Her interviews with Wolf and then Larry King last night were awful. I get exhausted just listening to her, it's like she vomits words. I agree with everyone. Palin will not continue to be news if the news media quits reporting about her and LETS IT REST! Is the media asking her to do all the interviews and moose chili parties, or is Palin's camp soliciting all these gigs? In any event-GIVE US A REST, CNN AND LET'S MOVE ON.

Why do we care about her anymore? Why is the media still fasicinated with her. She was a silly choice for VP and McCain paid the price for it by losing the election – time to move on and focus on Obama and how he will fix the economy. Perhaps the Republicans should do the same instead of dealing with who is going to run in 2012 because if Obama can turn things around within the next year or so, it won't matter who is running on the GOP side.

Wow! I can't believe how easy it is for people to get behind a computer and blast people. Good thing we teach our kids to be respectful and caring towards others. I find it hard to hear that our country is uniting when people can just look at a person and put them down. God forbid we look at Sarah Palin and think what a hard working lady, good mother, role model for young girls. No let's bash her and continue to say were united because maybe she doesn't have the same beliefs or is different. Take the chance Americans to be open-minded. You certainly don't have to agree with her but you don't need to be RUDE!!

There is a very famous saying "Keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubts". This one fits very well for Sarah Palin

She should have learned that by now since the campaign is over. She should keep mum as long as she is does not gain enough knowledge about the political scene in this country. For someone who cant even name a newspaper (not even a local one, if there is one in Wasilla such as the Wasilla times or news) or is not even familiar with the policies of her own party, has lot to learn.
If there is any credibilty in the leaks about her lack of knowledge (political and general) and the prep work done on her during the campaign, she has a lot of learning to do and the sooner she gets about doing it the better it is for her and her future with her Party.
It was painful listening to her on CNN. Her responses seldom have to do anything with the question(s) being asked. I wonder if she ever looked at her recorded interviews to understand what she really lacks.

Her looks may have gotten her many admirers but if that alone was a qualification for a political office Paris Hilton and her likes would lead by a long way. She would loose there as well by a long shot as well.

Ok we had to hear about Obama for who long even before the campaign started. I'm gload she is trying to get out there and really let us see her. I believe the GOP, needs a new face and I would LOVE for it to me a women. We just need to get past not talking about what they are on, who did their hair and makeup. The men dressed in coslty suits and were made up, but no we did not hear about that. We heard more or what needed to be done, but not how they were going to do it. We need to focus on the issues and let the people speak.

If you look at the demographics of the Presidention election results, the power base of the Republican party came from the most un-educated areas of the country.

Virtually every county within the states themselves, voted for Obama if there was at least one college or university in it. The rural areas, the South, all went for McCain. That troubles me in that it may signal in these areas a lack of being able to think for ones self.

PA'IN speaks like she is in HIGH SCHOOL.... Better yet, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

I "BETCHA" she ran for every office in school to get elected to NONE!!! She LOST the beauty pagent – so what does that tell you. SHE has a "empty" head.

NOW I believe what I heard about the campaign. She doesn't listen and changed the script all the time. At first I was giving her the benefit of the doubt and blaming the campaign as being "sore losers". BUT NOW – she has not SHUT HER TRAP since the election. No wonder her poor husband can barely say a word when asked a question. He's always in the BACKGROUND!!!!

I think my horse is smarter than Palin. Well, my mare is very pretty, makes her job when being directed and never TALKS or winks. Listening to Sarah's supporters, i believe my mare is quite qualified for the job,too. Why not? The same pea nut brains and big brown eyes. Seriously, the woman is nuts and has no clue. Palin is a pathetic chameleon. She campaigned as a rabid attack dog, which is probably why she was chosen in the first place. Like most Republicans over the last 8 years, she was a mean-spirited divider, all about what she's against, rather than what she's for. Now, after a thorough thrashing by American voters, to which she in no small measure contributed, she blathers that she's not obsessively partisan, and lectures that the party shouldn't be either. She points fingers at those who mention the party's past (you mean the record you ran on?), and professes to want to bury the hatchet (unless, of course, she has another chance to mention the President-Elect's "palling around" with terrorists). Sarah Palin is an intellectually bankrupt hack who became John McCain's Frankenstein. And so she continues to lumber clumsily on a political stage she'd never had and didn't earn the right to. But there are sharks in the waters of her own party--and, when it comes to Sarah Palin, they smell political blood. So to Democrats and the American public in general, I say just sit back and watch the fun begin.

Willy Brown, are you serious. Palin is a symbol of what went wrong with the GOP. First of all, the GOP needs to understand that simply redirecting their message to white voters is a move that will cause their party to become extinct due to the influx of diversity in this country. Remember, people of color will be the majority in the next couple of years, and campaigns must be inclusive. Stop using insulting people such as Palin and Joe the Plumber to symbolize the "average Joe." Obama's message was inclusive, and made room for all, not just fringe people. In addition, Palin's interviews are laughable. I can see why the campaign refused to let her speak on her own, she truly not as smart as a third grader.

This country does best with two partiies. While a democrat, I feel that two strong (and competent) parties provides the necessary balance.
However, I cannot fathom a viable, competent, Republican party with Sarah Palin having ANY significant involvement. The parties need informed, intelligent members. One of the reasons Obama won was the fact that he is well read, erudite, and composed. Sarah Palin is the absolute antithesis of those qualities. If Lincoln were alive, female or male, he would be appauled at the considertation of Sarah Palin as a force in the future of the Republican Party.
