i have to wonder if the article is about cheney or obama and biden. and if the bidens get a dog or not. talk about some hard questions and problems that have to be addressed. 2 dogs and mom. the change were all after. i dont think millions of americans wabt to know who`s getting a dog. 85,000 lost their homes just last month. more american soilders lost their lives. mothers and fathers are grief stricken because of that. their handing out more money to greedy ceos. whats wrong with this picture? and folks its the democrats that have changed since obama became president elect. who`s the lame duck now. jan. 20th can`t come soon enough. maybe the senate and congress will realize obama aint on their side as much as they would like to think they are. after all some of these guys have been in office for 20+ years and they sold their souls long ago to special intrest groups. i`ll vote for a different party next time. thanks

Cheney isn't even a veteran. It would be a travesty to offer him military honors, an insult to the thousands of lives that have been lost due to his demented ambition to build a global empire.

He is a war criminal, though. The Geneva Conventions are endorsed in law in the US, and he instigated major violations on behalf of the people of the United States.

If Cheney's your hero, the GOP deserves to be out, as well as down.

I would like Joe to ask Dick one questions on behalf of all taxpayers.

How did the Bush-Paulson-Pelosi-Reid Hole in the Wall Gang pull off the biggest bank heist in history.

Much to my chagrin and to millions of other Americans, we are now being told that the Democratically controlled Congress gave $700 billion of taxpayer funds to the banks as an investment in stock, and the banks can do anything they want with those funds - anything or nothing – and becasue the Government bought stock, the banks to not have to tell the american people what they did or will do with a single penny of those funds. This is the bank heist of the century – but with a twist – the banks, with the help of Pelosi and reid – have robbed America.

I now understand that Pelosi and barney Frank are planning a second heist – this one by the gang of Ford – GM – Chrysler. The government will invest in those dinosaurs and they can do anything they want with the cash – like pay for union benefits and pensions.

AmI alone here folks. Does anyone else get this?

I just hope that Biden doesn't look at Cheney's rifle collection. He risks getting shot. Remember the last time a lawyer was near Cheney when he had a gun? He was shot by Cheney, and that was a friend.

To Go Home Barry: Cheney never served in the military at all by most accounts. He has served in government for many years as well as the private sector. Cheney has tried to alter the laws and the power the VP's office has. That is not deserving of any praise.

I could not be happier than to see Dick Cheney leave. I personally blame him for the Iraq and Afganistan conflicts. He has not been a patriot but has been a Halliburton liason the White House. His self serving bias has caused many a family to grieve over there brave loved one who paid the ultimate sacrifice. I do not wish him good luck or God speed. I hope he just goes away, much like the last few years.
