I don't disagree with your comments about the Bushes or McCain, but if you think the Kennedy's worked for what they have as opposed to the above mentioned people, you are kidding yourself. To the guy who likes to shoot deer in Canada, I would very gladly be taxed more in the US to pay for health care. It would be a lot cheaper than the foolish and wasteful so-called system of health care we have now, where sick poor people end up in emergency rooms, where corporations go bankrupt because they can't afford to compete due to their high health care costs, where doctors are incentivized to give treatments, rather than care, and their patients get only sicker. I also don't rate a country by the size of its bloated military. Canada is a country far superior in most measures to our much-declared 'best country in the world'.

We've allowed ourselves to become second rate by our obsession with our own greed.

The rules that you believe Ted Kennedy should live by are the creation of the Catholic Church, not God's creation. If the Catholic Church wants to be so narrow minded, let them, it does not mean that everyone else has to follow. There are a lot of things the Catholic Church supports or requires that are not biblical in the least and are not what God wishes for his children.

God does not "get" people. He loves his children, even when they make mistakes. He even loves them when they do not behave in Christian ways as taught by Christ. For example, threatening people that God will get them is not living by the example Christ set. Christ did not die on the cross so you can threaten people. God is love, you need to learn that.

He cannot be true to his professed faith yet accepts the eucharist, fully knowing that he shouldn't because he is obstinate about his support for abortion which, by the act itself, excumminicates himself from the Catholic Church. He should not be accepting the Eucharist and knows it. He is living in a lie and knows it. I would not support any politician who knows that he, himself is a liar.

I pray that he changes his will and supports the most innocent of human lives.

I also believe that it is time to start putting "Term Limits" for the Senators for then the "Special Interest groups" will have less time to promote their own agenda..
