Cheney has committed a wide variety of crimes in 8 years. It is the duty of all attorneys, to hound this rotten criminal into an early grave.

If McCain were to run for president in 2012, it would only to be to rescue America from what Obama will put us throught in these four years to come. I hate how people like you and other liberals base their political opinions on their steriotypical beliefs and the media.

McCain, you have taken both the low and high road in the past and come up short. Simply retire. It's time.

Why is it that these old politicians like to hold on to power and not give younger people? It took 7 felony convictions to finally get rid of Stephens from Alaska. I hope when I get to their ages, I could retire and rest my bones after a life of hard work instead of grasping at power and prestige at the last breath. Sad.

Come on John, isn't 73 retirement age? Hang it up and give the younger generation a chance to screw the taxpayers as a US Senator.

McCain, please retire. It is time for the younger generation to bring new ideas and stop telling stories from your POW days. This is 2008 and we could care less. We are concern about how to pay for our homes and eat That is what old people do when they don't have any new ideas, tell stories. Spend some of that money that we poor people don't have, and try to get a clue about what is going on in 2008. NO MORE MCCAIN PERIOD!

I am a republican...the two best Senators are Kennedy and McCain. It would be a shame to lose the both of them. Stop the hate...McCain is not the devil.

I wonder which McCain will show up to be reelected. The old maverick or the new maverick.

If he knows what is good for him, he should retire....

I simply cannot understand why he would want to do such a stupid thing, when his wife is a Muti-Billionaire......They already have 7 or 8 houses, certainly are receiving rent from all those houses, and should be living quite well.......not to mention that he has 15 cars parked in his garages that he owns !!

Shoot, that means Obama didn't ask him to be Defense Secretary. Oh well, maybe Hillary could handle Defense and State both.

OMG... Well at least WE who live outside Arizona don't have to listen to his BS and watch his wild eyed, arm slinging tyrades.. He needs to retire but I'll bet Cindy put him up to running again so she wouldn't have to put up with him at HER home in AZ...LOL..

There should be term limits on congressmen and senators just like there is on the Presidency and governors. McCain has obviously made a career out of being a politician just like the rest of them. If there were term limits, maybe these politicians would really be in it to serve our country and not their own personal interests and wealth.

Gracie, to re-iterate what the other have said. READ THE ARTICLE. HE IS RUNNING FOR SENATE RE-ELECTION. NOT PRESIDENT!

Stop quoting your idol and read the article before responding. You really are an idiot!

Some of us still appreciate what he did for our country. You take your freedoms for granted, I don't. McCain is one of the all-time great senators not for his time as a POW but because of his ability to bring the parties together and get stuff done. I wish I could vote for him again.

Folks from Arizona would be wise to unseat McCain in 2010. I'm not Joe the plumber by the way. I'm licensed legally to do my trade. Leave it to that numnuts to support McCain-Palin.
