CHICAGO (CNN) – The day before Vice President-elect Joe Biden turns 66, President-elect Barack Obama presented his running mate with 12 candlelit cupcakes after their weekly lunch on Wednesday. He also gave Biden Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears hats as well as a bucket of Garrett's popcorn as presents.
“You’re 12 years old!” Obama told Biden according to a Democratic source.
“Maybe in dog years!” Biden responded, laughing.
Obama and the staff then sang Biden ‘Happy Birthday.’
Rarely did Biden make a stop on the campaign trail and not mention his age. “I want you to know,” he would tell supporters, “there are only four members of the Senate who are senior to me. But the very important thing to know is there are still 39 older than me.”

Might be thoughtful and 'a peace offering' for Obama to give cupcakes to Biden on his Birthday, but the very thought or idea that Obama would try to 'rebrand' this country is absurd and scary.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this country, except that the Democrats have pushed their 'hate Bush Campaign' with great disrespect and ridicule shown to our President and Elected Government officials. What must foreign countries think of this country? This country has earned the disrespect of the World in return. Americans and Democrats especially, should learn some manners and respect for others and our Government. Americans have never treated elected officials in such a hateful manner.
It's so crazy how some people just can't seem to stop being haters. No matter what people try to do there's always going to be some kind of hater. What bothers me the most about the haters is...that can't do a better job! And so what if Obama gives Biden some cupcakes..it doesn't hurt to show a little kindess. All you haters...go back to bed and try waking up on the right side! If that doesn't work pack your bags and move to an island where you do don't have be bothered with the rest of the world. I can't stand negative people!
This is seriously adorable. Such a nice gesture, and so awesome to see some fun and real thoughtfulness!

Well jeez...I don't know, Pat. I've spontaneously had a camera in my purse lots of times. There's also one on my phone. In fact...that photo looks very much like one that a camera phone would take. And as you can see, the photo credit is for an "attendee photo".

When you have the majority of The American population praying for you, the negative comments just roll off the shoulder.

Kennedy the first catholic president, loyal to the American people promising transparency , Obama the first black president and grew from ashes to a full rose promising change, Lyndon with great experience on the senate and on foreign relations, Biden chairman of the foreign relation committee.
Lyndon is old, so is Biden, Obama is young so was Kennedy.
History repeats it self in different way.
