Huckabee's a nice guy and all, I like him as a person, but this country's never going to elect him. Anyone whose judgement and analysis of the facts leads him to believe that the earth is 6,000 years old is never going to appeal to anyone except a fringe element of the electorate. The country as a whole are going to be alarmed by that. Plus, Huckabee's record on economic matters is abyssmal. And he's pardoned way too many criminals. So, nice guy, sure... he'd probably make a wonderful next-door neighbor. But president? Absolutely not. He's one of the last people I'd ever vote for, despite thinking he's a good guy in most respects.

First, lets inaugarate Obama, before we start talking about the next election.
Second, we've had our fill of relious based politics, and Huckabee is the poster child of that movement...how can he possibly be taken seriously as Com. in Chief, when he doesn't believe in evolution, thinks the world is literally only about 6000 years old, that dinosours and man lived together, and that all of humanity came from a single man and woman, who by all account, only birthed sons?

Huckabee doesn't have any new ideas except for the flat tax which will never become law. After 8 years and a bad economy I say thanks but no thanks. It's gonna take a while before we trust the Republicans to lead this country again. But knowing them they will blame the bad economy on Obama. People need to realize it is going to take years to get out of this bad economy and I don't even think we've seen the worst yet.

Huckabee is just trying to get publicity for his book and upcoming show. I don't think he is trying anything else. He is a good man, and I wish him the best with his projects. I personally would rather see someone else on the GOP ticket, but after four years of putting up with a stuttering idiot who can't complete a sentence without a teleprompter I doubt many will vote for Obama especially after he raises taxes and makes Americans look even worse.

i think it is a good thing to find out which politicians have hopes of running in 4 years for president.. that way you know NOT to take their advice... their agenda would be only to sabotage the soon to be current one..

just look at mitt,, when he was running in 2008, he was going to save detroit.. now he is saying let detroit go bankrupt.... seems like he has an ulterior motive for 2012... now he is all for the suffrage of millions of people just so they can look for a new savior from their personal hells..

When the Republican's stop being the party of Jim Dobson, Pat Robertson and others of Huckabee's ilk, they will come back. We don't need a Bible waver in the White House. The Founding Father's saw this nation as a secular state, with Christian principles. It has worked very well. Why Not? Huckabee was the only worthy Republican Canidate to have a good record. And I think Huckabee is going to be a bigger challange against Obama.

As a Democrat, I would love Huckabee to get the nomination in 2012. He would destroy Gulianni, Palin, and Romney.
