From

CHICAGO (CNN) - The logistics for today's economic team rollout had a taste of Chicago baseball mixed in. The room was divided into two sides: reporters on the south side of the room have small White Sox tickets on their seats. Those on the north have tiny Cubs scraps of paper, complete with semi-official MLB insignias. The President-elect, of course, is a South Sider who roots for the Sox.

Well, that's a very clever way to start a serious meeting–with a little levity beforehand so everyone knows they are among friends.

Obama victim – go away, you're ruining this for me. If you loved the last 8 years–move to Georgia–the Soviet variety.

at last...a sense of appropriate humor...not withstanding the seriousness of the occasion....it is good to laugh

I love that our President-Elect has a sense of humor. I wish him all the success in the world as our country depends on it. Listen up Republican party, please, please don't stand in the way. We all know that you expected to rule America forever, but right now we really, really need to pull together, no matter how you feel about President Obama. As a liberal (and no, that is not a dirty word) I am behind him 100%.

Georgians:

Remember to vote for Jim Martin for Senate!

Early voting is today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. Election day is December 2nd.

I cast my vote today; the line was not very Democrat friendly. Get out your vote to help us on our way to a filibuster-proof majority!

Give me sunny Wrigley over whatever they call that park that the White Sox play in any day.

No Hillary = No Obama   November 24th, 2008 1:32 pm ET

This is another reason Hillary Clinton should be President. Now we have to read and hear about all this sports nonsense, analogies and all this male indulgence. 225 years and we still have to put up with this.

For President-elect Obama to be a White Sox fan is good. God forbid he was a Cubs fan. The GOP will try to connect him with Mark Cuban and his inside trading.
