Brown said he expects Obama at the G-20 meeting.

LONDON, England (CNN) – British Prime Minister Gordon Brown expects U.S. President-elect Barack Obama to come to Britain for the next meeting of the G-20 group of major industrialized and developing economies, he told parliament Wednesday.

"I have talked to the incoming administration," Brown said, adding that Obama "expects" to attend the April 2 meeting.

The G-20 leaders will discuss ways to deal with the global financial crisis, he said.

Of course he'll be there. Leave him alone. If Bush was such a total disaster Barack would have a break before he's inaugurated.

I blame every American who voted for Bush. He is a total idiot and our country has suffered heavily for it.

And, yes.... the World is eager to finally have an intelligent President again! We have been the laughing stock of the world for eight years, it's time to see this country return as a viable member of the world!

May the Creator bless Barack Obama and Joe Biden during these most trying years ahead of them.

Why should this be news? He will be president starting 20 Jan 2009. News cycle must be slow.

JuanM, so he (as an US senator and now PEOTUS) can afford to send his daughters in an elite private school and you want to make it an issue? You are really grasping at straws...
Let's remember the basic, he hasn't sworn as POTUS and won't until January, 20th, 2009; therefore there's very little you can really bash him for as of now (not that this sole fact prevents you from spewing your hot air).
If at least there was a hint of intelligence in your coments...

I can imagine what other world leaders are thinking and might even be saying.

"Finally, after 8 years, America is sending someone who can actually speak with us and understand what we're saying."

Uncle Fester LOL!!! You are to funny. Who are you mad with the Rockstar or the Moron we have for President? I would say that at least the Rockstar is acting more Presidential than the President. The moron doesn't seem to have any answers; he's to busy giving out turkeys and pardons. What a way to go with a big BAG!!! Crooks releases crooks.

I wonder how Obama would do running the Kobayashi Maru simulation?

Everyone here should read Garret Hardin's book "Living Within Limits".

For reasons of complexity and the fact that most of you Republicans have the attention span of a ferret on meth, I won't go into the details.

Suffice to say so long as we think we can contiunally grow an economy, these economic crashes will continue until the BIG crash comes, the one based on natural laws dealing with habitat carrying capacity.

A total rethink of economic structure is necessary if our species is to prevent an extinction of 90% of life on the planet.

JuanM: Do you have children? If so, would you beat down the doors of a ghetto school trying to get them in? Obama is not yet President and he is already trying to stimulate the economy so that all will have equal opportunity. Behold Bush! He sits ALOFT in the White House in the District of Columbia where the illiteracy rate is staggering (highest in the nation) and you want Obama to partake of this.

Happy Thanksgiving and god bless Democrats and Republicans!

I pray for President Obama everyday because we need someone to lead this country with unprecedented wisdom. First, the voters must thank themselves for allowing a man like President Bush and the GOP to destroy this country for not 4, but 8 years with little or no protest. As for the hate mongers (known as the new Republican Party), their prayers will go unanswered because they have a spirit of division. That is not a spirit of God.

"Mr. Obama is now going to put his daughters in an elite private school that few Americans can afford. Mr "man of the people" looks more and more like just another Washington politician."

This really irks me. For those of you who are sooo concerned about what school Obama is sending his precious little girls to, maybe you need to be informed of the following FACTS:
1- They have attended an "Elite" private school in Chicago for ALL of their lives so far. Why ?? – because their parents have good paying JOBS and could afford it!!!
2- The school they will be attending are used to the unique security issues surrounding high profile children , ect.. Also other senator's and President's children have gone there (including the Clinton's Daughter, Chelsea)

Anyone who has a problem with the Obama's school chioce need to stop nit-picking over irrelevant things and get a life, it is a highly personal decision!!!!

JuanM, it's the same private school that the children of many U.S. Presidents, both democrat and republican, have attended.
