LONDON, England (CNN) – British Prime Minister Gordon Brown expects U.S. President-elect Barack Obama to come to Britain for the next meeting of the G-20 group of major industrialized and developing economies, he told parliament Wednesday.
"I have talked to the incoming administration," Brown said, adding that Obama "expects" to attend the April 2 meeting.
The G-20 leaders will discuss ways to deal with the global financial crisis, he said.

A total rethink of economic structure is necessary if our species is to prevent an extinction of 90% of life on the planet.

JuanM: Do you have children? If so, would you beat down the doors of a ghetto school trying to get them in? Obama is not yet President and he is already trying to stimulate the economy so that all will have equal opportunity. Behold Bush! He sits ALOFT in the White House in the District of Columbia where the illiteracy rate is staggering (highest in the nation) and you want Obama to partake of this.

I pray for President Obama everyday because we need someone to lead this country with unprecedented wisdom. First, the voters must thank themselves for allowing a man like President Bush and the GOP to destroy this country for not 4, but 8 years with little or no protest. As for the hate mongers (known as the new Republican Party), their prayers will go unanswered because they have a spirit of division. That is not a spirit of God.

This really irks me. For those of you who are sooo concerned about what school Obama is sending his precious little girls to, maybe you need to be informed of the following FACTS:
1- They have attended an "Elite" private school in Chicago for ALL of their lives so far. Why ?? – because their parents have good paying JOBS and could afford it!!!
2- The school they will be attending are used to the unique security issues surrounding high profile children , ect.. Also other senator's and President's children have gone there (including the Clinton's Daughter, Chelsea)
Anyone who has a problem with the Obama's school chioce need to stop nit-picking over irrelevant things and get a life, it is a highly personal decision!!!!
