Limbaugh called Obama's selection of Clinton 'a brilliant stroke.'

(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh seems to have given Hillary Clinton his stamp of approval for the second time this year.

The conservative talk show host — who urged supporters during the primary season to back Clinton in an effort to prolong the bitter Democratic presidential nomination fight — told ABC’s Barbara Walters that Clinton’s selection as Secretary of State was "a brilliant stroke" by President-elect Obama.

He said the move was a political master stroke, effectively ruling out a primary challenge in four years. "You know the old phrase, 'You keep your friends close and your enemies closer?' How can she run for president in 2012?” he asks. “She'd have to run against the incumbent and be critical of him - the one who made her Secretary of State."

Obama himself seemed to give a nod Monday to the pair’s policy disagreements during the 2008 primary season. "I assembled this team because I'm a strong believer in strong personalities and strong opinions,” he said at the event where he named Clinton as the leader of his new national security team. “I think that's how the best decisions are made.”

  3. Forget Limbaugh, where's Obama's illegal immigrant aunt?

Some one is hiding her. Who and why?

She's an illegal immigrant living off taxpayer money in Public housing.

She was deported by a judge 4 years ago and has not left. Where's CNN on this story? Have you been ordered to ignore it????

Old RL seems to forget that it is poor form for the party in power to run a candidate against its standard bearer in a presidential election. I seriously doubt we would have seen Hillary run against Obama in 2012. When will Limbaugh crawl into his hole for good?

Give Me A Break!!! Who cares what the pill popper's comments are in regards to Obama's cabinet member picks. Hell, all he is going to do is look for anything negative to rant about for the next four years to keep his racist small minded listeners tuning in to hear him scream and shout over the radio. He and Hannity are laughing all the way to the bank preaching hate and race-mongering to a group of people who are absorbing it up as if these two are providing factual and truthful information. The great thing about the 2008 election is that the majority of the American population did not buy into their hype of diversive politics. The way to beat them at their own game is for the majority to remain united for the good of OUR COUNTRY.

Seems to me Mr. Limbaugh is a bit bitter that his party lacks in the "good political strategy" department...

Is the fat hog pill popping and wandered off the talk radio farm? Does he actually thinks anyone outside the dittoheads give 2 s&!rs about anything that come out of his pie hole?

Some one find the Ambien and send him back to morning talk radio and away from the liberal media, we like that way!

Limbaugh makes his living by spewing controversial and hate filled speeches-that's the only reason he keeps his ratings. If he didn't, he wouldn't be on the air; his political posturing is as boring as watching paint dry. He's just an irrelevant wind bag, and a drug addict to boot. This is probably the kid that held his breath until he got his way from his parents, then bullied the other kids in the school yard to hide his own inadequacies.

Ten years ago when Hillary was the first lady, he had only vile things to say about her. Just wait two weeks and he'll be back to that game.

So when again Larry did you be the authority on politics. As stated by others must be a slow day when we really need to listen to what this pill popper has to say.

To the ill-informed commentor below who is STILL claiming that Obama is not an American Citizen born in this country:

You lump head! *LOL* I have explained this fact repeatedly! Do you not read anyone's comments but your own?

His mother is a citizen of this country, therefore, wherever she gave birth HER SON is an American Citizen!

There now.... I feel better... 🙂

Why anyone listens to this drug addicted moron is beyond me. People like him are dangerous to the US, not constructively critical.

Funny how this dope addict resembles Larry Craig and his rhetoric resembles Karl Rove. I remember back in the late eighties when he first came on political radio 'his best memories were about pro football and how he always reminised about being in the locker room or shower with these great big athletes. Probably explains his long large cigar that is always sticking out of his mouth.

Limbaugh also thought that bringing a bottle of someone else's VIAGRA to a country well known for childhood prostitution was brilliant! Maybe Rush and Papa Bear OI'Reilly should get themselves a loofah and take a shower together. They could discuss their mutual irrelevancy.
