(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh seems to have given Hillary Clinton his stamp of approval for the second time this year.
The conservative talk show host — who urged supporters during the primary season to back Clinton in an effort to prolong the bitter Democratic presidential nomination fight — told ABC’s Barbara Walters that Clinton’s selection as Secretary of State was "a brilliant stroke" by President-elect Obama.
He said the move was a political master stroke, effectively ruling out a primary challenge in four years. "You know the old phrase, 'You keep your friends close and your enemies closer?' How can she run for president in 2012?” he asks. “She'd have to run against the incumbent and be critical of him - the one who made her Secretary of State."
Obama himself seemed to give a nod Monday to the pair’s policy disagreements during the 2008 primary season. "I assembled this team because I'm a strong believer in strong personalities and strong opinions,” he said at the event where he named Clinton as the leader of his new national security team. “I think that's how the best decisions are made.”

who cares what he thinks?? I don't get why CNN is always reporting his opinions and Palin's. The only way to discourage CNN from reporting idiot opinions from people like these two is by NOT replying to the posts.
I know its addictive and that bychecking out the blogs to see who else agrees with you that Palin is an idiot and not worthy of being covered, but RESIST the urge and you'll see shortly she and others like her will fade awayl because they really are not news worthy.

Curious. Limbaugh encourages Republicans to join the Dems and to go vote for Clinton to prolong the nomination fight. Does he not realize that because of that (if he had any influence at all) the Dems themselves were able to establish a very strong campaigning department in every state which led to Obama's victory?

I hate to say it, but he is right! Obama actually beat her at her own game! How can Hillary possibly run against Obama in '12 without undermining her own credibility! If she refused the job, people would know she wants to run again! OK this way she can run in '16 against the Palin-Huckabee ticket!

The Dems should be greatful to this guy and Palin as well. Without this guy help the primary would have been much shorter and Obama ground game would not have been as strong. As for Palin all Dems should be happy to see her as often as possible. Obama will be a shoe-in in 2012. Thanks big fat guy and palin. We may not have been able to do it without you.
