Persoanl to Robsatease:

And the non-partisan organizations that rate pundits on TV, radio and in print list Limbaugh last when it comes to the percent of the time he is trutful and factually accurate - 14%!!! That's down from 17% the last time he was audited two years ago!

And now that Rush is "coming clean" on everything, when can we expect an explanation on the oxycontin shenanigans and the trips with "the boys" to the Dominican Republic?!

And, in a further personal to "italianmomma":

Do you kiss your children with that mouth?!

For those who think that the incumbent is the automatic nominee, that's not correct.
Generally, there is no strong primary challenge to an incumbent, but it is possible to challenge the incumbent in a primary. It's not the smartest political move, since a strong primary fight with an incumbent would divide a party. It would only be done if the incumbent's first term were disastrous. Besides, hedging his bets is not something Obama has really done. He wouldn't be worried four years from now. He's more confident than that. He doesn't want "yes" people around him. That accomplishes nothing with regards to advising him. Especially in the area of foreign policy, where he is insightful and intuitive, but inexperienced, he needs dissenting views around him for the purposes of education. You don't learn anything if all your advisors agree with you. As for the poeple saying we shouldn't "hate" Rush Limbaugh, he is the ultimate spewer of hate. His whole purpose is to entertain an audience so that he can stuff his wallet with money, and unfortunately, his method of entertainment is to divide the country by attacking anyone who can clearly see that Bush and his cronies are power hungry goons.
Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, and all the other right wing pundits are show hosts don't do what they do because they believe in it. They do it to make money. Plain and simple. "Don't give in to hate. That leads to the dark side."

Obama appears to be bringing Americans together, as evidenced by the bi-partisan approval of his actions so far. He may even be affecting those on the extreme right and left. Fostering national unity is the most important task for the next president...

I can't believe people actually believe what this idiot says. It's really sad that he has so many followers. He gets paid 30 million a year to spew his nonsense. Hillary and Baracks political philosophies are very similar. It only makes sense that she should be part of his cabinet.

No offense to Mr Limbaugh but I'll rather listen to Gov Palin than ANY other conservative out there. At least Gov Palin actually cares...it might take time but she does. And she's trying to ante up the party! Plus, Conservatives have more problems than they ever realize and here comes Gov Palin who made it all better just by being V.P...by the way, does it look like I'm happy? LOL!! She made it more difficult or let alone complex for the party and now they don't even know where to start. I hate to say but their stupid and idiots!! Warned them til this day and I don't mind picking on them because the timing is just right...plus, I'll rather do the GOP bogus than the Cubs that';s for sure, LOL!! You know that's personal, LOL!!

Oh yeah, he's the steak salesman who said we should send drug offenders up the river.

How'd he get out of going to jail for breaking federal narcotics laws again?

To all those here who decry the "hateful liberals" who are bashing Rush. Normally I would agree with you, but this is Rush Limbaugh. Ad hominem vile overbearing hateful attacks are his stock in trade. He is the one person whom I feel it is ok to bash. He is hateful and hurtful on every level. He is not conservative, nor does he care about truth (even slightly). Remember, this is the man who claimed that he would air a tape of Michelle Obama making a racist rant. It proved to be a lie like most of Limbaugh's other statements. The man is truly a pile of waste.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Dr. Laura, and the like are the BIGGEST reason for the Fairness Doctrine to be enacted, something that trust me they do NOT want to happen. As long as they can spew their divisiveness on the airways without much oposition, they can continue to rule the airways and take advantage of the folks with the lower IQ's that can't think for themselves. Hopefully during the Obama years to come the far right will lose this gripe as the country starts to open it's eyes and move closer to the center away from the far right neocons and the left wing bloggers. At that point the sponsers will drop off, the radio stations will fill those slots with music and the "kinder, gentler Amercia" that Bush #1 proposed may become a reality.

Let's see. Hillary Clinton, whose husband's dealings with the moslem world have gained him an enormous fortune is expected to place the interests of the United States above those of the islamic nations that hate us and have vowed to make us a part of a world wide islamic calaphate.

And Barack Obama, whose father is a moslem and therefore considered by moslems to be a moslem (children's religious affiliation is determined by their fathers according to islamic reckoning) is expected to be the commander-in-chief of the United States and place the interests of our country above those of our enemies.

Somehow, I doubt we will see either of these two exercise the power of their offices in the interest of the United States. Mrs. Clinton will, as the Clintons always do, place self-interest above all else and Mr. Obama will, as the resident moslem in the White House, maneuver the calaphate closer than we ever dreamed.

She is schemer. And he is a Trojan Horse. And we are screwed.

If Limbaugh was irrelevant, he wouldn’t incite all of this criticism. Playing defense already?

This is a strange article, as it does not seem to be self aware enough to realize that Rush's compliment is a backhanded one, meant to imply political gamesmanship is taking priority over whats best for the country. The headline should read, Limbaugh Skeptical of Obama's Pick. A headline which neither surprising nor particularly news worthy.

Limbaugh is an absolute doofus. When was the last time a sitting, popularly-electd president lost a nomination? Clinton was out in 2012 anyway. Limbaugh wouldn't know brilliant if it climbed out of one of his bottles of prescription painkillers. The pick was smart because it is about PUDS (Party Unity - Darn Straight). It doesn't hurt that Clinton is excellent for the job either.

Ah--Rush--as in "to judgment". The man who deified Reagan--but who never actually voted for him because he was uninvolved politically when it did not serve his navel-gazing purposes. The archetypal hypocrite. Die Rush die the most painful political death that media can provide--by ignoring your profound rotund stupidity.

Does anybody really pay any attention at all to what this pill-popping windbag has to say about anything? I'd say his relevancy wore out about 10 years ago. The only people that still listen to what this joker has to say are the right-wing militant nut-jobs, and that's exactly who he plays to. He and Sarah Palin could easily be the "new Republican party's" 2012 ticket.

I was critical of Obama during his run and I voted for McCain...and I'd do it again. That said, so far I like what I hear from Obama and I hope his actions will follow. We're long past the point where we can/should be bickering at each other. Obama recognizes (as hopefully the rest of you Dems do) that almost half the country did NOT vote for Obama, including a sizable percentage of Americans who stayed home. The election is over; the process we use for choosing a President is past, and it's time to move forward together.

I'm not going to be happy about much of what Obama does, but I'm going to support him as best I can, without malice. This is what we HAVE to do...all of us...from here on out. The problems we're dealing with did NOT all come from the last administration, but have been a function of the last 20-30 years, and we need to take a long term view to make things right again. Together.

So the self-appointed voice of the Right is now weighing in on the choices of Barack Obama; as if the President-Elect could care less what this over inflated couch potato says. Chuck Hagel; who has twice the intestinal fortitude Limbaugh ever dreamed of possessing; said it best when he pointed out that good olde Rush doesn`t have the guts to actually run for office. Yet he presumes to believe that all that transpires in Washington cannot proceed until with baited breath we hear from the great Limbaugh. What a sad pathetic joke!!

One more thing..those of you talking about Obama not bringing change by picking experienced people for his administration..does it make sense when you say that out loud? The first big change is that hes picking intellectuals-- thats more than our current President can say. Second, its about his IDEAS AND PLANS that are the change. Not the faces. Remember HE is in charge.

It is interesting the hate comments against Limbaugh. Liberals spend a lot of time spewing their "none judgemental" agenda. But God forbid, yes God, someone not agree with them the spewing becomes gnashing of teeth and they begin foaming at the mouth. Instead of spending time condemning a man who more than likely is living a life 10 times more successful than anyone on this blog, why don't you people get out of your house and look up at the stars and try to find a true purpose for your life. I hate to be the party pooper, but it probably doesn't matter who Mr. Obama makes SOS. CHANGE is never going to happen in America because it is easier to HATE (as evident on this blog) than it is to be NICE to those who do not agree with you. You people have way to much NEGATIVE energy. Go and be nice to someone tomorrow and then us conservatives might want to be like you.

For those of you who say he is irrelevant:
He has a weekly audience of 20 million people

For those of you who pull the drug-addict card:
Review the case. Yes he made a mistake. However, he only starting taking the pills to deal with real medical issues. He never intended to use OxyContin recreationally, he meant to use it for a real purpose. He had an addiction, we know, but it was not as if he was living a pain free life. If anyone questions this, look it up.

Pop a couple of more pills, Rush.

Divorce another wife or two.

Maybe you can run for office for your perverted
followers, the supposed conservative right.

What a crock you are, Rush. Go to Hell, if
you know where to find it.

I actually posted several positive comments about this story and about Rush. Did you really think they would ever appear? Typical liberals. The difference between a liberal and a communist? A communist knows what he is doing!

Once again Rush rules! I love watching these ignorant liberals trying to lampoon Rush Limbaugh. They hate his success and they really don't know his views. They don't listen to his show but the do imagine what he has to say. His real specialty is Freedom of Speach, something liberals distain. Rush won't let them rewrite history or allow foolish things to go unanswered. When things get really bad Rush Limbaugh will issue that call to arms, not unlike that of Patrick Henry. He is a true patriot.

Rush uses hate as a method. That doesn't give him truth, it just makes him popular. I like HRC, but he doesn't change my opinion on that.

"Hillary - I feel really bad about the whole primary thing. I apologize for being nominated as the Democratic candidate. Oh, and I'm real sorry about not picking you as VP. A lot of people are upset about that, huh? Let's see...ummmm...here's something! Secretary of State. How does that sound? Will you forgive me? Are we friends? Cool. I think your husband is really neat by the way."

Ever notice how someone who points out the BRILLIANCE of something is really just trying to have their own intelligence recognized?
