I am proud to donated early to Obama's campaign. I realized he was a brilliant and insightful leader for our times. I donated $10 or $20 at a time over several months and ended up giving over $300. I have never done this in my life before! I am so glad I made this sacrifice to help get our country back on the right track and reverse the tragedy of the Bush presidency.

I am very happy that Obama is doing so many things different. I donated with a cheerful heart! I am glad Obama is setting his adminstration up to be more accessible to Americans. From Change.gov to the release of his donors list. This is going to be a more effective goveernment for the people of the United States! RAYMOND: The majority of people who voted for Obama ARE NOT looking for a handout. Obviously, you are of the set who believe that when people demand a better government they want handouts. Do you people even understand welfare? Welfare is not what is used to be back in the 80's. People don't just get "handouts". Maybe some of you should go back and read some legislation. Welfare rolls have dropped 50 percent over the last 15 years. It's not as easy as it used to be!

What are all you people smoking? Obama being transparent? He released the list of 1.2 million donors for his transition parties, but what about the donors for his presidential campaign? Of the more than half a billion dollars he raised during the campaign, most of the money nobody has any idea where it came from. He has returned illegal contributions to Africans and Palestinians, but what about the rest of the donor list? It has never been released or audited and it never will be. Transparent? Don't make me laugh.

Barack Obama will have made a Transition when the World see him place his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played. and as Chef of All in this United States of America, when he salutes the American Flag as should do, but has yet to do.
Also, I want to see him sworn in on the Bible of the Faith this country was built on In God We Trust.. Not the Koran as he has done one before.. Amen !!!!!!!

Actually, Texas Teacher, Obama owes the entire nation not simply the 53% who voted for him. You were undoubtedly one of the loud mouth's who pined anytime Bush made a decision you disagreed with. Now that your guy is in office he doesn't owe anyone but the people who elected him? Doesn't that go against everything he ran on? He has already gone back on his promise of change so will he now go back on his promise of bipartisan politics? Most likely.

I also find it startling that so many liberals are only proud of their country when they elect a Democrat. You guys need to check whose side you are on.

I'm still waiting to see the list of Obama's donors from the primaries and the general election. The Obama camp has steadfastly refused to disclose that information, despite the fact that McCain did so without asking.

I think a whole bunch of Obama's donations came from foreign money....used to help control the American election process.
