It's curious and frightening that the Republicans have to think about whether they want Palin to lead their party - have to watch her over a longer period of time - - Didn't even elect her to a prominent position among Republican Governors. YET, they were willing to have her as VP and potentially President of the U.S., just a few weeks ago.

Republicans are certainly NOT COUNTRY FIRST.

"Remember she was on the stage for nine weeks in the general election — that’s not a lot of time," he said. "Now we are going to get to a chance see her over a longer period of time." - Karl Rove
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hey Karl, honey, are you forgetting that the MORE we saw of her, the MORE we realized that there's just not much there. Americans are too smart to think that governing can be done with a wink and a smile. Sarah is a joke!

So cobra, you can call Michelle a monkey, and it's liberals who are the problem because we expect a candidate for VP to actually be able to speak proper English, respect ALL of the country, and have an original idea in her head instead of spouting every lie that Rick Davis gave her about Obama with a gleam in her eye and a smile on her face? That is not integrity. Integrity would require her to research her speeches before she yells them; know what she is talking about, and then stand her ground. She didn't even research the job she was after.
And she truly does not speak coherently, and anyone who actually thinks they understand her should try to diagram ONE of her sentences. Just one. I don't think you can.

Dear GOP,
Please DO run your lame horse Gov in 2012 AND in 2016. That way in 2012 it will be an EASY RE-election for Obama/Biden. 2016...we can all enjoy watching as Hillary cleans her clock and shows Palin what an educated, REAL woman is!

OBAMA/BIDEN 2012 voters:

MOST Dems
MOST Indys
"REAL" Repubs (the one's who jumped ship when McCain picked Palin)
Repubs who voted for McCain but said, "I can't stand Palin but I'm voting for McCain anyway".
Anybody with an IQ over 20

Palin voters:

FAKE RepubTards
Evangelical nut-job bible thumpers
Morman wing-nuts
Stupid People

GAME OVER!!! OBAMA/BIDEN win with 80% popular vote!

Hillary vs. SaRahRahRah 2016 voters:

Clinton voters::

*see above Obama/Biden voters*

Palin voters:

She appeals ONLY to the Republican base and the Republican party is dying.
There must be a qualified Republican out the who can at least structure a proper sentence. She is just not smart enough to be President of the USA.
Don't get me wrong...I would love it if they put all their eggs in the Palin basket but get real here.
The majority of women will never get behind Palin. She is too extreme in her views and still has not been vetted. There is a lot we do not know about this woman and there will be ton of time to expose her. In 2012 she will just be a bad memory.

Sarah has the courage and instincts to deal with Al Qaeda that Obama is missing. Obama likes to write speeches and make phone calls and that just won't have an effect on the terrorists. He's a woos and Al Qaeda knows it and they've already started to mock him,.

Obama, the Great, is offering to sit down to tea and crumpets with the terrorists of Mumbai-----he will offer them health insurance if they stay away from our shores---this will work, NOT.

In 2012, when Sarah Barracuda takes over from the Great One, she'll stick her AK-47 up the terrorist's noses and then we'll see what works and what doesn't.

What makes Palin think she could run this country? She can't even manage her own family:

Teenage daughters should not be getting pregnant.
Women should not be conceiving children at age 44. Was she hoping to have a child with Down Syndrome?

All of this from a group that claims the right to say they have "family values".
This registered Republican is going to reregister independent.

As an outsider and a conservative it's painful to watch so many Americans ooh and ahh over Ms. Palin. There is a certain shallowness to American politics - I imagine if Sarah was 200 lbs and not quite so "hot", she'd still be an unknown. Her verbal prowess and intellect leave something to be desired, though she does appeal to the "average Joes" (again most likely based on her looks). While not a huge fan of Obama, the man is smart, has surrounded himself with qualified people and will ultimately be a pragmatist I believe (e.g. Gates). This may infuriate a lot of left wingers that want "change" (i.e. free money from the government), but may lead to him surviving another term and developing from a merely a good speach giver to a good leader. The Republicans could use someone with the integrity and smarts of a Romney. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Palin believes that God is on her side, and that everything she does is "God's will". Therefore, in her mind, she can do no wrong. She also follows the extreme right-wing Machiavellian mantra of "if it gets me elected, it's all good."

This is a very dangerous mindset to have when in a position to shape social and foreign policy at the national level, and for these reasons, I pray that Alaskans will have enough sense to prevent her from ever being elected to the Senate. I have every confidence that the American people will prevent her from ever residing in the White House.

WHEN Palin runs in 2012 she WILL get my vote and my money. It gives me something positive to look forward to. The woman is brilliant, an achiever, and squeaky clean.

As for Obama.....well, he can just keep "the change." He's not MY president. I didn't vote for him. I don't want him. I ignore him.

To America:
While I do agree that Sarah Palin needs to do research to learn how to be a more affective politician, attacking her personally is stepping out of bounds just a little bit. Even Obama proved that to be true today when he met with all of those governors to discuss the economic crisis. He may not agree with her politically wise, but he is willing to put that aside and work together with her. Sarah actually said herself, when she met with him today, that she is impressed with all the bi-partisan ideas that Obama has come up with to help the country. Saying all that, what I am really saying is that it is okay to criticize her politically, but attacking her personally is out of character and not what America needs. Lets move on America and try to get done what needs to be done to help us.

Sarah is going to get a real test in Alaska now that oil has dropped below $50 a barrell. It was easy for her to have a sky high popularity rating in Alaska when the state was giving every citizen in the state $1,300 check. Now, she is going to have to make tough decisions because of the decline in oil revenue and that is sure to make people angry and test her mettle as a leader in her home state.

To all of us recently diagnosed with Acute Palin-induced Emesis (the condition of retching uncontollably at the name "Sarah Palin") - let's all remember: The longer she stays in the news, the more people develop our condition, and the lower her chances are in 2012, or anytime.

Stay in the news Sarah *retch* - I will gladly sacrifice my gastric comfort to guarantee that you will never have a chance.

I am glad that Palin has finally left GA. Never come back again!

Rove's comment was humorous considering that Palin has never had a clue, let alone an idea.

Amanda, GA,

I just looked up the current vote count on CNN's site just a minute ago; I also just saw it on Brown's show just before that. I voted for Martin, even though I know he doesn't have a snowball's chance.

Palin is a know nothing joke that is using her celebrity like sam welterbacher aka joe the plumber did, but you see that it wont last. She is a joke among every one except the deep base, the fringe of the repukes. She SHOULD run for pres though, only problem is enough high ranking repukes would stop her from getting far, they dont want her to run against Obama in 2012 r Clinton in 2016, because she would make the GOP look even MORE ridiculus than it does now...

Why are we quoting Karl Rove.... ?

Why do we care what he thinks about anything, anyone, OR Palin?

Pardon me....? I'm confused... :) Is Karl Rove the Voice of the GOP now? Really scraping the bottom of the barrel, arn't they?

If Palin is the best the GOP has to offer, then I would suggest that the whole party fold up and go home..... the way is wide open for a new party!

@Sarah is the one in 2012
Michelle and Barack should keep their re-decorating to a minimum as they'll be out of the White House in 4 years.

Obama will fail to revive the economy and we will be beset by Mumbai type attacks—both of these things leading to his loss in 2012′.

See you in 2012 Sarah!!!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To my knowledge the White House is redecorated every 4-8 years depending on the circumstances. Michelle and Barack have every right to redecorate as they see fit. They will be in the White House for another four years so she should buy kids furniture that they can use in their teenage years.

Sarah, the buffoon, will be as close to the White House as she is to her English book, which she probably NEVER opened.

Don't get me started.

-------------------------------
To my knowledge the White House is redecorated every 4-8 years depending on the circumstances.

She should have stayed the mayor of Wisilla. I'm sure she was a good mayor. Also, it probably didn't take a lot of communicative skills.

I can't believe the republicans are actually going this direction and giving the idea of Palin as president credibility. Rove is showing the ignorance that we all expect from a college drop-out like him to have. This is the best news the already dominant democratic party could receive.

Nominating Sarah Palin for President will ensure the Democrats have eight more years. Come on the Republican Party you can do better than this - and if you can't, you deserve all the scorn and derision you get.

Karl Rove's belief in the Market's ability to determine futures was disproved mid-way in September. Why does he insisted that Palin will survive becasue she is marketable when the proof of marketing healthcare is failing before our eyes, the proof of marketing a war is failing, and she herself has a politician failed. It was not because of her ideas; they weren't her's in the first place. They were the republican line, we haven't even met Sarah Palin yet. Maybe it's because somethings exist and function outside of the market sphere, like healthcare, like freedom, like faith in our religions, and in our politicians.
