The war in Iraq was never 100% correct. It was never 1% correct. As it was said countless times and will be said many more, there never were any WMDs.

It used to be, before the days of divisive hate politics when we ALL respected the office of the President, regardless of who occupied the White House. President Eisenhower, President Johnson, President Bush, President Clinton, get the idea, respect the highest office in the land. Disagree, respectfully. Comment on CNN blogs, respectfully. It is a part of our American heritage. Dissent is your responsibility as an American but respectful dissent is what makes our country great.

So the next time you decide to take a shot at PRESIDENT Bush or PRESIDENT-ELECT Obama, keep in mind that they were both elected BY THE PEOPLE and occupy or will occupy the highest office in the land. Laura always appears to me to be just about two steps away from "spaced out". Why on earth she would have married her nitwit husband GW is beyond me. Maybe it was the Bush money??? I think she could have done better.

At his core, he probably is an okay guy but he's still incompetent. He's messed up nearly every venture he's ever run. Face it...we elected a C-student and we got a huge mess as a result.

To say that he is judged too harshly because of the times is a cop-out. He mishandled one crisis after another and then acted as though anyone who criticized him wasn't one of those "real" Amercians Sarah Palin told us about.

Having said that, I do think that the Bushs have been very gracious to the Obamas and deserve credit for that. The peaceful transfer of power is one of the things that makes America unique and I'm glad that he (seems to) at least understand that.
