One of the wonderful things about Florida politics is that the old politicos rise from the grave every couple of years like vampires, trying to live off the lifeblood of the electorate. If there isn't a place for them, somebody will create a position for them .

Witness Bush cronie Tom Feeney's republican dominated congressional district, made for him after his state house position ended, and which he lost after being exposed as currupt. So we have put up with them over and over, just in different jobs.

The neocons voted in W. because they hoped that he wouldn't fall far from the Bush family tree and look at the mess we're in now, with a record defecit, two wars and a recession. Pinning their hopes on the Bush brand is like eating rotten apples from the same barrel: well, maybe they're not all bad.....

Remember that the deciding state during the Bush/ Gore election was Florida. Sure helps that the person running the elections in Florida under Jeb was also the state campaign chairperson for G.W.. Bush. If Jeb would have done the honorable thing and had someone else administer the elections, maybe the outcome would have been very different. Jeb allowed a flawed election to take place, making Florida the laughing stock of the world just to further the political career of his idiot brother.

No more Bush.......

The comparison between George W. Bush and Sarah Palin were scary- they talk the same, they walk the same and they are both dumb and inarticulate....I would love for the repubs to let her become the candidate in 2012- she's a sure loser. She can get the uneducated southern yahoos to vote for her while the other 90% of us will vote for someone who can actually do something positive for our country...and perhaps Jeb will dumb himself down enough to be her running mate...this is probably as good as the repubs can do...they've become a pathetic lot.

I am not a fan of George Bush at all. However, I was a fan, and still am a fan of Jeb Bush. Honestly I think the people on here are being unfair towards him. How many of you are Floridians...I am. I remember how hard he worked for us in 2004 after four hurricane devastated this state. If he works that hard in the senate, he has my vote regardless of his party or his brother.

jeb bush is directly responsible for several florida scientists being fired for collecting water quality data that showed the water in the everglades might as well come directly from a cow's rear end. there are several lawsuits against the state for these ridiculous firings. all we need is for this dude to be anywhere near the us capitol!

I wondered how long it would be before another BUSH decided to run for a political office. I really thought Jeb would try for the White House this year but guess he decided to let his familys (wife, children, mother, father and of course brothers) reputation calm down a little. Lets see how long it takes for the American voter to forgot how much damage THE BUSHES have done to the United States AND Florida in the Bush quest for ruling the world. Maybe Jebs wife and kids will give up their bad habits (stealing, alcohol and drugs) but I don't know how he can repair or out live his helping his brother steal the two elections that got George into the White House in the first place.

Great. That's just what we need, another Bush in government. With that said Jeb's time as governor leads me to believe he would be the least damaging of the Bush crew, but I still would prefer to have the Bush's continuous failures confined to the private sector instead of in government.
