Has Palin snubbed Oprah?

Oprah says she wants Palin on her show.
Oprah says she wants Palin on her show.

(CNN) – Did Sarah Palin snub Oprah Winfrey?

That's what the most popular daytime talk show host and fervent Barack Obama supporter appeared to suggest in a recent interview with the entertainment show Extra.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”

Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she refused to invite the former vice presidential candidate on her popular daytime show.

Earlier this week, the talk show host announced she will tape her inauguration week show in the nation’s capital, and has rented the Kennedy Center’s lush Opera House – which seats roughly 2,300 — to serve as her studio.

“There are not even words to talk about what this night means,” Oprah said of Obama's inauguration. “Everybody keeps using the word historic — there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

Per Oprah, there's never been a moment as grand as Obama being elected? For me, the birth of Jesus Christ tops them all. Obama, is a man, and Oprah is a woman, they are not saints, nor are they divine, they are wealthy people. I stopped watching Oprah years ago, she is not my spiritual guide, nor do I need to hear her rant and rave about her new "book". I find plenty good books on my own.

Looks like O needs some contraversy and attention for herself.

A pretty far fetch to say she's being snubbed. How many other shows has Gov Palin not been able to grant interviews too?

And if Oprah didn't want to have her on, surely she doesn't expect to get priority over the ones who DID make the time for Gov Palin before the election.

I'm sorry O your show isn't doing as well. Better find something else to try to get attention.

the fact that the election is over and people are still defending palin blows my mind. And not in the way palin had her mind blown when asked what she read.

Who really cares about the dimwit Governor of Alaska? It was astonishing to witness the the arrogant cluelessness of Sarah Palin in her interviews with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric. Nobody running for a national office should be that dumb! I hope she starts reading any newspaper even the Mat-Su Frontiersman (the newspaper of Wasilla, Alaska)!

I can't mention on here what Palin should say to Oprah. Oprah needs to get over herself . She is using Obama to gain more attention on herself. Doesn't take a genius to see that. Maybe she can go stand ramdonly in the crowd there and cry on a stranger's shoulder too. Nutjob.

Pay attention Palin apologists! Oprah endorsed Obama BEFORE the election. Then she announced that she would have NO CANDIDATES on her show afterward. Including Obama.

She also said that after the election she would be happy to have Palin on the show.

    PAY ATTENTION!

    Palin is a wimp.

All i smell is a bunch of haters now all of sudden you white people mad because she's a Obama fan, And for sarah palin Oprah does not need her on her show sarah is just small potaoes compared to the big O. And i totally agree with Oprah President Obama's inarguation is going to be the biggest event ever, our civil right leaders worked hard for this day. So why are you peo[le trippn. WTG OBAMA (YES WE DID)

Gee, where to start? Besides being a suck-up racist, you appear to be, shall we say, not so bright.
"all you white people" ? You means the millions that voted for BO?
"bunch of haters"? Now that sounds like you and some other BO supporters.
"Obama fan"? I guess that is right, since we know what "fan" is short for. (Oh, I probably have to explain it to FiFi or fefe or Rover – it stands for fanatic).
"biggest event ever" ? Not even close.
Try to use a little sense and logic if you have anything to say.

Claire, you also have to know that the United States has gone out of its' way to promote and educate black people and those that have taken advantage of it have done quite well and are a great addition to society. However, we have the others who sit at home all day with their hands out waiting for free money or someone to show them the way and they are the same ones who scream RACISM every time something doesnt go their way. We also have the NAACP, the United Negro College Fund and Affirmative Action which all seem to be race based organizations and laws, but because it is for black people, we look the other way. Now we have a black President Elect proving black people are capable of anything they want to do and yet the only thing we will hear is "racism this and racism that"

DISING BIG O??? Ha Ha Ha!! After the election is too late for the real story. Who does she think she is?? I know her game, only talk to Sara when there aren't any voters to listen. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP SHOT. She's not a biased Liberal ? Didn't want to influence the election?? Come on OBAAAMA wasn't running was he? That's the very reason we don't watch her.

Once again Oprah proves she is all about Oprah.

I am glad that President-elect Obama appointed Hillary SOS...but I still have not totally warmed to him as president, and I am a life-long Democrat.

I didn't care for Oprah before the primaries, during the primaries, yesterday, today or tomorrow.

I mean really! Who cares what she has to say?

Are you people out of your mind. Have you nothing better to do? Survivor is on tonight. Maybe Sara and Oprah can be eaten by a green african mamba and we won't have to hear about either one ever again!

I don't think Sara Palin should lower herself to appear on Oprha's show. She'll do very well without Oprha.

Palin is a lost case. Oprah is famous than Palin. I think many posters here are unable to swallow the fact that a Black Man elected to the highest office of USA.

Oprah is widely accepted as a good AMERICAN, specially by WHITE Americans. The hate mongers are crying for Palin who showed her dumb mind during the campaign. Many idiots shouted "KILL OBAMA" during her campaign. This is the history of a RACIST minded Palin.

Many males are shouting for Palin after they saw her in a swim suit. That is not politics.

If Palin has any ambition to become President of USA, she has to sit with OPRAH and chat!

Governor Palin, outside her new age Church, is still insisting that the signs in the sun, the moons, and the stars should be imminent.

She really believes this will happen.

Please. Greatest moment on the earth ever? How about when the Nazi's fell? How about when our country was created? How about when we walked on the moon? Obama's inaguration is definitely historic on a grand scale but lets not get ahead of ourselves. The man has a ton of work to do.

Oprah is self-righteous and a guru of the innocent non-thinking sector of of the public that is easily lead. She denies Christ's divinity and only path to heaven, and supports new age guru's on her radio show. She is not worthy of any celebration. The rest of you "children" on this board referring to Palin. You're silly.

The Oprah show is not a good forum for Palin and the other right wing bible thumping gun toting extremists. They have Fox news and Jerry Springer to help them connect.
