(CNN) – Did Sarah Palin snub Oprah Winfrey?
That's what the most popular daytime talk show host and fervent Barack Obama supporter appeared to suggest in a recent interview with the entertainment show Extra.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”
Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she refused to invite the former vice presidential candidate on her popular daytime show.
Earlier this week, the talk show host announced she will tape her inauguration week show in the nation’s capital, and has rented the Kennedy Center’s lush Opera House – which seats roughly 2,300 — to serve as her studio.
“There are not even words to talk about what this night means,” Oprah said of Obama's inauguration. “Everybody keeps using the word historic — there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

Oprah does not belong on the political ticker. Period.
Well, here we go again...more Oprah bashing by the right wing nut jobs! If you'd read the article she simply stated the facts...that Sarah had talked to others but not her. How is that a negative against Oprah?
What gets me is how all of the right wingers get so upset whenever any celebrity says ANYthing at all about a politician! They are just as much Americans as anyone else and have a right to speak their minds! And, yes, many are EDUCATED and know what they are talking about. There are just as many educated celebrities (if not more) as are in the general public.
Elections are over time to come together. Sarah shoudn't be so devisive.
Who is Sara Palin? I must have missed something.
That would have been an interesting show to say the least. Oprah, Katie or Hillary asking her intelligent questions and her answering them like only Sarah could. I certainly would have watched that show. But then, what kind of questions could you have asked her? "Give us that recipe for Moose soup?"
What could she possibly say interesting that would have taken up an hour?
Palin has been put on notice by the Republican Governors and by Obama that the election is over, so there is nothing left for her to sprew hate about. And frankly who wants to hear about her moose hunting, moose stew and wolf killing. Palin is done not unless she can come up with something new to put the GOP back in the game and I seriously doubt that.
Who died and made Oprah God? I swear, she thinks that whatever she wants she gets. I'm glad Palin did not talk to hear. Oprah had her head so far up Obama's hindend during the campaign it was unbelievable! It would suit me fine if I never had to hear anything this "so called unbiased woman" has to say!

Simple case of "he said, she said." Can you believe Oprah? Who knows. Rumors were she didn't invite her. So she says she did. Did she? There are no facts to cooberate her story whatsoever. Besides, I truly doubt Gov Palin good give a rat about Oprah or her fluff-filled circus of a show.

I love Oprah, but I suppose the night WW2 ended, or the Berlin Wall came down, "may" have been comparable to Obama's inauguration. She needs to get a grip.

Oprah doesn't need to dumb her show down anymore. Tom Cruise was enough....but putting Palin on would be the equivalent of putting a tree stump on the show. Both Palin and the stump have about the same intellect.

There are plenty of hosts Sarah can still go to. There are plenty of guests Oprah can still interview.

Oprah did what she could to help Obama win, that means not giving air time to his rivals during election time. It hardly matters if Palin comes to the show now or not. It changes nothing. Oprah is pretty smart at that, she also kept her word.
