Has Palin snubbed Oprah?

Oprah says she wants Palin on her show.
Oprah says she wants Palin on her show.

(CNN) – Did Sarah Palin snub Oprah Winfrey?

That's what the most popular daytime talk show host and fervent Barack Obama supporter appeared to suggest in a recent interview with the entertainment show Extra.

"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me.”

Winfrey’s comments came in response to rumors she refused to invite the former vice presidential candidate on her popular daytime show.

Earlier this week, the talk show host announced she will tape her inauguration week show in the nation’s capital, and has rented the Kennedy Center’s lush Opera House – which seats roughly 2,300 — to serve as her studio.

“There are not even words to talk about what this night means,” Oprah said of Obama's inauguration. “Everybody keeps using the word historic — there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

    Oprah, what's your secret?

Inquiring minds want to know how to get Palin to stop talking.

who cares if she did? oprah, for all her self aggrandizment, is NOT a serious interviewer or reporter she is simply a daytime talk show host much like Phil Donahue in the past, all fluff no substance.
I do NOT like Caribou Barbie AT ALL but even I see no reason for her going on Oprah's show.

Also while I am an AVID Obama supporter I do not think his inauguration is the most important thing ever to happen or to use Oprah's own words "there’s never been a night like this on the planet earth… Nothing can compare to this.”

The fact is every four years we have something that can compare to it, the peaceful transfer of power for the head of a major power in the world, something before the USA came around that was NOT a normal occurance the fact that it is Obama this time, and he happens to be black, makes it no more amazing that this peaceful change occurs. Sorry Oprah, and those other politically correct whiners, but electing a black man means little to me and even less to the country what is MUCH more important is that we elected a THINKING amn someone who is not afraid or opposed to scientific thought and research who can see outside the bible. That has not been done for a long time in this country now if we can only get the radical right and the looney left to stop blaming each other for all the problems and accept a discussion and concensus we will REALLY have something huge!

Go whine somewhere else Oprah!!!! You are so biased, I'm glad Sara didn't give you the time of day. Do some exercise or something, not only does it relieve stress, you might actually lose some of that weight.

The less we have to hear from or about Sarah Palin the better. My prayers were answered on November 4th when we elected Barack Obama our next President and kept McCain's cynical choice for a running mate from being a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

palin doesnt need oprah, palins better than that. oprah can go somewhere and pray to her nobama god, she probably put up a shrine already, praising her false prophet. she had her head up where the sun doesnt shine all this time for nobama, probably just to see and be a part of "history". the new slogan america will be taking up in 2012 is "nobama change failed, we need republican reform and palin power!!!".

I really don't understand this cult of Oprah in the media. Why is it expected that if Oprah talks everyone has to listen?

How delusional Oprah must be. What a perplexing culture we have become.

SInce the election is over... ms Palin can go home... simple as that! stay there even. ! you betcha.

Now then as far as Obama winning.. He didint go in on the race issue.. and if the 'race issue is to be accepted... maybe we should all just comment on AN AMERICAN MAN won the vote. an American Person will be sworn in. A Patriotic man will be sworn in.......... why does it have to black white purple orange?? really people,,,, we didint do all this when an Irish man won?? or a German man won..... or Italian..... who really cares about race.. when its the brains and the confidance and the authority to get others to follow him.... a LEADER.

Oprah, CNN, Fox can do a show on that too. It should be worth at least few weeks of comments
